Legend Of The Dragon King

Chapter 1925: Support From the Entire Federation!

The excitement that everyone had been feeling just a moment ago was instantly replaced by fury, and the battle resumed.

Everyone was instilled with immense confidence at the sight of the army of divine dragons summoned by Tang Wulin, but the Holy Lord instantly stomped their hopes into the depths of despair.

The human army was crushed, and Tang Wulin was on the brink of death. In this dire situation, Cao Dezhi and Zang Xin stepped forward to seal the Holy Lord away at the expense of their lives.

Thus, two more Limit Douluos fell. The final scene concluded with the image of the silver light barrier that had enveloped the Holy Lord and the abyssal passageway.

Up to this point, the onlookers were still finding it difficult to breathe. They finally understood why the darkness had descended and why the purple sun had appeared.

The federation hadn't concealed anything; the truth was entirely presented to them. The only thing that they were unaware of was that the images of the Holy Lord destroying the three federal fleets with a single attack had been omitted.

Through this address, Mo Lan was trying to stir up belief in everyone's hearts, not strike despair into them, so she couldn't show them something so damning.

"Three days is all we have left; the seal can last three days, and after that, the Holy Lord will re-emerge. According to the latest news from the front lines, Dragon Emperor Douluo Tang Wulin is safe and currently recovering. He is preparing for a perilous breakthrough, and if he succeeds, there will perhaps be a chance that we can turn the tables. Everything that you've just witnessed took place in the northernmost region. While we're here enjoying safe and peaceful lives, there are people sacrificing themselves for us on the front lines.

"They are doing everything in their power to uphold peace and safety for us, so what excuse do we have to fall into chaos and disarray at a time like this? What we have to do now is support them with our spirit and belief; we have to tell them through our actions that they are being supported by all of their brethren. Regardless of the outcome of the battle, they are heroes of our human race, and we'll bear the consequences with them. I firmly believe that they'll definitely be able to defeat the enemy and bring victory to us all.

"My friends, it's time for you to unite as one and cheer for our heroes! The images of your support will be broadcast live to our troops; make them feel your support!"

Mo Lan's rousing address was met with complete silence, but in the next instant, someone suddenly yelled, "Long live the Douluo Federation!"

More cheers immediately rang out thereafter.

"Long live the Tang Sect, long live Shrek Academy!"

"Long live the Northwestern Legion, long live the Western Legion!"

"Long live our heroes!"

The cheers quickly spread to every single corner of the entire continent.

Those heroic images had stunned everyone and evoked powerful emotions within them.

What Mo Lan wanted to accomplish was to unite everyone's wills to form an impregnable fortress of belief and conviction.

The darkness that had settled over the entire world made it impossible to hide the truth any longer, so it was better to just reveal everything while only hiding some of the overly negative things, such as the grave error made by the Western Legion and the destruction of the three federal fleets.

Instead, the self-sacrificial spirit of the human army's heroes was being highlighted.

The power of belief was intangible, but it was often extremely powerful.

As one cheer rang out after another, even the sky seemed to have brightened slightly, while the purple sun seemed to have dimmed.

This office belonged to the president, but it had temporarily been given to her so she could make the announcement that had just been broadcast.

Earlier, her proposal had been met by some resistance, but she had received majority support in the end. To her surprise, even in the Eagle Faction, she received the support of over two-thirds of its members.

Looking at the outcome now, she had done the right thing. Never had the Douluo Federation ever been this united and strong.

I've done everything I can for you, Wulin; the rest is all up to you now. The federation needs a miracle, and I'm sure you'll succeed in creating one.

......

As Tang Wulin awakened from his slumber, the outside world was still completely shrouded in darkness. A peculiar sense of comfort surged through his entire body, as if he had been elevated to a whole new plane of existence.

He had only ever experienced this feeling a handful of times, one of which was following the attainment of his fifth greenish-golden soul ring, heralding his transformation into the Son of Nature, while another one of those occasions was back when he had broken his first Golden Dragon King seal.

As he inspected his own internal condition, he discovered that a layer of faint reddish-golden color had settled over every single part of his meridians.

Prior to falling unconscious, his Invincible Vajra Body was only infinitely approaching the godly level, but not, he could clearly sense that a fundamental change had taken place, at least on a physical level.

What exactly had happened?

He could only just bȧrėly recall that he seemed to have been severely wounded.

His consciousness slowly returned to him, and along with it came his memories, upon which his heart immediately sank.

I didn't die?

His eyes sprang open as he sat bolt upright. As soon as he did so, he immediately sensed the familiar aura beside him.

Gu Yuena was seated on a chair beside him, and as soon as he sat up, she also opened her eyes as an elated look appeared on her face.

"You're awake!"

Tang Wulin nodded in response, and a gentle look appeared in his eyes.

Only then did he discover that he was currently in his own resting quarters in the encampment, and that the two of them were the only ones in the room.

Tang Wulin had also witnessed their soul fusion skill at the time, but back then, he was on the verge of death, and his senses were so dull that he couldn't even process what was happening.

Gu Yuena's face fell slightly as she sighed, "They sacrificed their own lives to temporarily seal the abyssal passageway, giving us three days of time, and one day has already passed by. It was the Amorous Douluo who reminded me to save you using the Lovesick Heartbreak Flower that you once gave me."

A wry smile appeared on Tang Wulin's face. "I didn't think that the flower would be used on me in the end; no wonder I feel like I've become completely different somehow."

Gu Yuena nodded in response. "You have indeed become different. If I'm not mistaken, I can sense that your body has already well and truly reached the godly level. Even though your soul power is still only at the quasigod level, your physical body has made a breakthrough under the effect of the Lovesick Heartbreak Flower, granting you the foundation to attain godhood."

Tang Wulin sighed, "But it's still nowhere near enough to defeat the Holy Lord."

Gu Yuena appraised him with a patient expression, and said, "You can't fall into despair, Wulin. You are now the leader of the entire human race, and everything is waiting for us to deliver them a miracle. If we give up now, then it would truly be all over for the human race and the Douluo Continent."
