Legendary Shadow

The crowd cheered while Gary was cursing in his bad luck on how his strongest Pokémon was already knocked out and a Legendary at that. He thought he would be able to sweep Ash off his feet using only one Pokémon, but he knew that Ash was stronger than that since he had lost to him before.

At least he was able to knock out three of Ash's Pokémon so all he had to do was finish off three more and since the field was still electrified, he only needed to bring out his electric Pokémon Electivire to finish off the job as he threw up his poke-ball.

Electivire immediately felt good after he stepped on the field absorbing the electricity that Raikuo had left behind to get the power boost he needed. He looked at Gary and gave him a thumbs up. Gary could only shake his head as he told him to focus.

Ash brought out his next Pokémon Meganium, the grass type Pokémon as the electricity was not able to do much harm to her. The battle started once again as Electivire use Thunderbolt while Meganium dodged it and used Vine Whip to grab onto Electivire and slam him on the ground at the same time quickly releasing him before the electricity could travel through the vines. She followed up with the Razor Leaf attack. The leaves were sharp and precise as they caused some damage to Electivire who was starting to get annoyed and absorbed more electricity around the stage.

Meganium charged up a Solar Beam and shot it out, but Electivire was able to dodge it using his quick speed as he approached Meganium who was still in the middle of the attack not knowing that her opponent had dodged and was approaching her. Ash quickly alerted her, but it was too late as Electivire came next to her and used a Mega Punch slamming his fist right on the side of her head causing major damage and knocked her to the ground.

Ash kept yelling at her to stand up, but Meganium was having a hard time as her head was ringing but eventually it faded out and she was able to stand up slowly but surely. Struggling, she was finally on her feet as she was wheezing and was out of breath, but she did not give up as that was not in her nature.

Ash cheered her on but as soon as she looked around for her opponent and could not find him, she started to panic. Ash immediately realized where the opponent was and told her to look up. Electivire had jumped up in the air and was coming down to finish off Meganium. Ash quickly told her to use Vine Whip to knock herself away from the approaching attack which she quickly did and rolled away.

When Electivire came down with his fist it caused a great crater causing Meganium to sweat as she thought if that had hit her, she would have been finished. Electivire was gaining momentum as he continued to chase after Meganium.

He was too fast for her, so she had to use something to slow him down as Ash was racking his brains, he finally figured it out. "Quickly, Meganium use sleep powder" he said. Meganium shook her body as small particles started to float into the air but that was not enough as Gary quickly countered the attack by telling Electivire to quickly spin causing some wind currents to form and blow away Meganium's hard work.

Using that momentum, Electivire was able to use Fire Punch as he landed a direct attack with the speed from the spin and the hit Meganium and she was knocked out in one hit giving Gary the win and Ash was down to two Pokémon. However, he was not even sad as he started smiling saying, "This is a great match thank you Gary."

Garry just smirked and did not say anything as he told Electivire to stand his ground.

The next Pokémon Ash sent out was Typhlosion the Fire type Pokémon. He was the starter and final evolution of the Johto region starters.

Typhlosion came out breathing fire as the fire on his back spiked up giving him more motivation and getting him fired up. Ash was yelling in excitement as he always did to cheer up his Pokémon. And the fire on his back was always exciting to see on Typhlosion. Ash called out his first move, Flamethrower. The flame in his mouth ignited as he blasted it towards Electivire.

Electivire quickly dodged it by jumping up in the air and using Thunderbolt shocking Typhlosion as he took some damage. Typhlosion quickly shook off the electricity as he started to spin towards Electivire who was coming down from the sky after unleashing his Thunderbolt.

Typhlosion dodged another Thunderbolt that came down as he was spinning towards Electivire. He unleashed a Fire Spin as it went towards Electivire and trapping him in a fiery tornado causing some small damage to him, but he ignored it as he used Thunderbolt to blast his way out of it.

Both the Pokémon were panting but Electivire was more tired than Typhlosion as he had already expended a lot of energy in his previous battle and the electricity on the stage had already been absorbed by him so there was no more for him to use to increase the power of his attacks and he drew energy from within him to even keep himself up.

Typhlosion sprouted another Flamethrower this time and Electivire tried to dodge it once again, but it felt like something had held his legs as he could not move. All that movement had cramped up his legs at the worst moments as the Flamethrower enveloped him and at the end of the attack Electivire could be seen passed out on the floor as Ash had beaten Gary's second Pokémon while he only still had two left.

Gary was not worried as the match continued.
