Next day Liam had breakfast with his mom and got ready to head out she hugs him and tells him to keep in touch and then he warns Arbok to take good care of her otherwise he would regret it causing Arbok to shiver in fear. Then they leave and as they were leaving Liam could see Professor Oak running towards him so he stops to see what he needs.

Liam quickly accepted this mission and took the egg. Professor Oak thanked him and then he was on his way. He decided not to go through the Diglett cave this time and pass through Viridian City and Forest, and just journey all over again just to level up Larvitar doing battles and training. They travelled and got to Viridian City in the evening where they decided to rest and resupply on items.

They spent the night there and woke up in the morning and kept their journey going. They met a lot of trainers and had plenty of battles where Larvitar dominated and most of the trainers had no idea what kind of Pokemon Larvitar was so it was very hard for them to battle because they didn't know what type it was which gave Larvitar the advantage over them.

They continue through the Viridian Forest until they got to the old team rocket hideout where Liam wanted to check out the place to see if they had came back but he didn't see anything there, it was completely empty but he had a feeling that somebody or something was watching him, so he asked Shadow to come out and check it out but Shadow was scared after sensing what it was he told him it was a very powerful Pokemon and that he didn't want to engage with it.

Liam just quickly escaped from the place and ran out and the Pokemon that came out to see them off was none other than Mew the legendary psychic Pokemon. It was curious about the Pokemon Shadow because she had never seen such a Pokemon before, she knew of Lugia and it kind of looked like Lugia but it was a different color so she was just curious about him and decided to follow along just to keep an eye on them.

They continued for a few more days in Viridian Forest until they reached Pewter City where Liam took a break and dropped off his Pokemon at the center to get checkout and healed. Liam decided to go to the bar to just to relax since it was his birthday that day turning 16. He decided to celebrate a little bit by giving himself an off-day. Liam asked the bartender if he could serve him some strong stuff because it was his birthday.

The bartender decided to let him have at it, as soon as Liam drunk it he squeezed his face because of the Burning sensation that went down his throat. He swallowed it quickly causing the bartender to laugh. He told him that it's okay since it's his first time and that he would get used to it.

Liam manned up and took a few more shots until the bartender had to stop him because he was starting to get drunk. Liam then decided that he should go get some sleep so he thanked the bartender and left, as soon as he left the bartender signaled a lady in a blue dress to follow him to make sure that he was okay she nodded her head and followed Liam.

Liam decided to get a hotel that night since it was his birthday he wanted to enjoy himself and sleep in a luxurious hotel room. He booked the penthouse for the night and when he got to his room he was fumbling with the key to open the door and the lady came up to him. He didn't even notice until he got a whiff of her scent, he turned around and notice her and had a perverted grin on his face saying "oh are you my escort for tonight" causing the lady to laugh and say "sure I would love to escort you tonight but let's get you inside first".

The lady quickly helped him open the door and introduce herself as Indigo.
