Legendary Shadow

Liam continue to make his way up the building battling grunts left and right on one of the battles it was pretty heated, Charmeleon was going back and forth against a Muk that one of the executives had. Charmeleon was on the losing end until he activated his devil powers, after he got the power boost it was pretty much a fair fight until Muk knocked down Charmeleon with a Take Down attack.

Charmeleon was also poisoned if it wasn't for his devil mode he would of fainted a while ago but he still weakened a lot. Muk started to taunt Charmeleon causing him to get angry and evolve into a Charizard. Charizard was still mad in his devil form which was all black with red eyes and small horns coming out of the front of his head.

He blew a powerful Fire Blast at Muk causing him to faint, Just when Shadow was about to knock out the executive when a Gengar had appeared behind him and knocked Shadow away, the executives smirked and said "did you think that was the only Pokemon I had", Liam immediately knew that this was going to be a tough battle so Liam had Shadow fight with Gengar.

Liam returned Charizard and commenced the battle, they both used Shadow Ball crashing into each other and making a small explosion. Gengar had sneaked behind Liam trying to use a Lick attack on him but shadow appeared right in front of the Lick attack and took it for Liam causing him to be paralyzed. Liam saw that Shadow was in trouble so he then summoned Dragonite to come and help him.

Dragonite used Dragon Claw on Gengar. Gengar dodged it running right back to his trainer. The executive then said "that's not very fair two against one, but lucky for you this is the only Pokemon I have left since I don't really have time to train, but for now I know what your Pokemon are so I'm going to go and report this to Giovanni".

After saying this he starts to sink into a shadow that Gengar had created and eventually disappeared. Liam was tired at this point so he decided to take a break before continuing on the stairs but just as he was taking a break two grunts had showed up taking out pokeballs and summoning their Pokemons. Liam just signed and just commanded Shadow to take care of them and also Pupitar came out as backup. They did battle for a couple of minutes and the two grunts ended up passed out.

Meanwhile up at the top level of the building Giovanni can be seen manhandling the CEO of the company threatening him to give him the product that he seeks. The CEO had it well hidden and kept telling Giovanni he didn't have it so Giovanni started to torture him by summoning his Rhydon and having his horn spin at high speeds and approaching the CEO of the company's neck.

Just when it was about to touch, the executive that escaped from Liam showed up causing Giovanni to return Rhydon and ask him why was he interrupting him, he quickly told him that there's a kid coming up defeating all the grants and executives which Giovanni frowned said "why are all these kids trying to spoil my plans" and asked if he was strong the executive said "yes and he's using weird color Pokemons and one that he has never seen before and tried to sneak attack me".

Giovanni grinned and said don't worry let him come up but I want you to fall back and head back to the gym in case this guy really messed up the plans, I'll just have you get the project ready to be used. Giovanni was left alone just waiting for Liam to show up. Liam had finally found a room that had a guy that was able to operate the Pokemon healing machine.

Liam had all his Pokemon healed and he rested for a bit until he continued on to the next levels. Pupitar had finally evolved which excited Liam but he had lost control when he was facing off against one of the executives. This executive had a Kadabra which was giving Pupitar quite the trouble but he was able to eventually evolve and finish them easily with a crunch attack.

Liam proceeded to try to sneak attack the executive but the executive was able to bring out another Pokemon the last minute which saved his life because Tyranitar wasnt stopping his attack because he was in his devil form. When Liam was finally able to calm Tyranitar down he had defeated the Pokemon while Shadow made the guy go to sleep with Hypnosis.

Tyranitar transformed back and apologized to Liam for losing control. Liam strokes his heading thanking him for his hard work and returned him back to the pokeball. Liam guessed that due to the strength boost Tyranitar was too excited and forgot where he was which Liam didn't blame him and continued to move on until he met up with Gary.

Gary just told Liam that the Team Rocket boss is up there and he's very strong and had already defeated Gary so now he's going back out to heal and train because he feels like he's still not strong enough. Liam was surprised Giovanni let Gary go unharmed but remembered who his grandfather was. They parted ways and Liam continued on battling grunts, the executives seem to have escaped due to an order from Giovanni and this action confused Liam a little bit so he decided to pick up his pace and finally got to the top floor where Giovanni was waiting for him.

Liam entered the room and immediately notice the CEO in the corner crying with red eyes and his shirt ripped up. Standing over him about to drill him was Rhydon. Liam shouted" stop " as his aura erupted causing Rhydon to stop in stare at him in surprise. Giovanni also laughed and said "you seem to be more stronger than the last guy that was here I believe that was Oaks grandson but he still doesn't have what it takes to be at the top yet but you on the other hand I can see that you're a different breed from him and I can't wait to start this battle with you".
