"UGH!" Alistair's confident attitude broke at Cecilia's words being spot on

Father really is the clueless type huh....

Hearing what Cecilia said made me think father is a little similar to a sheltered kid.

A man who brings out gold in an outer city is looking to get robbed.

He would either have to be a sheltered noble or an idiot.

I'm pretty sure my father is one of those.

This family would be doomed if I had the intelligence of this man....

I can already imagine a scene where a father and daughter brings c.h.e.s.ts of precious stones to a commoner marketplace. That would be disastrous

Seriously how did father manage to marry mother, does mother like the gullible type?

looking to steer back into the topic at hand, Cecilia spoke "Let's get back into the matter at hand shall we."

Cecilia stepped to the front of Letisha "Letisha, you are hereby accepted into the Flytian Royal Academy, I will be seeing you on school grounds in a few months"

"Understood" Letisha says with a serious look and a little tug on her lips 'Academy huh, I have never attended one in my last life, it will be an interesting new experience'

After getting officially endorsed as a student for the academy by the Instructor, we spent some time talking to each other about a variety of topics such as swordsmanship, our opinions on other weapons, and.... well I guess it wasn't a variety of topics more than weapons topics...

My father kept watching me with aggrieved eyes as I never once said a word to him in the hours of my talk with the instructor.

Father just sat in his seat being all jealous and occasionally leaving remarks about how he was better than Cecilia in certain topics only to be ignored.

If it was possible I wanted to talk to Cecilia for the whole day, but that wasn't an option for her. Cecilia had to leave before the day ended because of her busy work schedule.

Now that I think about it, she did say she had not that much time off during the year, and her visit to me was the time off for this year.

Thinking about it this way, I feel a little honored to have a person such as Cecilia to spend her rarely free time being with me.

Currently, I am eating dinner in the dining room with a woman and pouting man sitting across from me, refusing to meet my eyes.

They are of course my father and mother.

I give an annoyed look towards my father "Father, is there something troubling you?" I ask with irritation

What met my question was silence, just a quick glance from father and back to looking away.

I have a good guess on why he's pouting, if want I think is true, then he's the most unreasonable man I met that wasn't the spoiled third prince from my previous life....

"Father, are you angry that I didn't bat an eye to you because of you're uselessness image in my eyes, and instead chose to converse with someone that seemed more professional than you by a landslide?" I say with a innocent face, despite the hurtful words

Hearing my words, my father looked at me with an expression that seemed like he would cry any minute.

'Is this guy really an a.d.u.l.t? He seems more like a kid than the kid sitting across from him, I would be embarrassed as a person if I acted like this man-child'

It's better to not say anymore to this guy, or else he would let the water works run.

Thought it is imm.a.t.u.r.e, I can see why he is pouting since it's in his nature

"Letisha, you're going to be enrolled in the academy within a few months, and I hear they require you to stay within the dormitory as a student just like how it was for your brother when he enrolled" My mother stated with a sad tone at the revelation

"It would seem so" I replied simply

Realizing something good, mother's face brightened up "Since you are going to be moving into the dormitory, a young girl like you will need plenty of beautiful clothes and accessories for your closet won't you?" Mother says in an excited tone

Looking a little awkward I revealed the sad truth " Uhm Mother, the academy uses a uniform that students have to use for most school days..."
