"E Everyone" The prince looked through the whole room, every single face that is currently present with an awe look plastered on

In the last moment, his eyes stopped drifting and landed on the king.

Throughout this entire conversation, the first prince still had his lips curved up into a devilish smile

"Don't you want to know why father never said anything little brother?"

The first prince slowly edged closer to the third prince who was staring at the king with a face chalked with nervousness.

He bent down close enough where his words can be spoken directly to the right ear of the third prince, and spoke very slowly.

"No-one ever liked you to care enough, not father, mother, second brother, little sister, or myself"

....

Noone...

Noone has ever cared.....

The third prince kept hearing echoes of the words that his first brother told him.

Noone has ever cared for him, not one single person.

His mother hasn't cared for him, His brothers never cared for him, His servants hasn't cared for him

His sister hasn't cared for him, and his father.....

'Pluck'

A sound of breaking in the third prince's hair can be heard by him.

"UAAAAAUAUAA!" The third prince like a broken toy started screaming at the top of his longs.

"NO IT"S NOT TRUE!"

"NO! NO! NO! NO!"

The third prince had his head cradled between his arms trying to block all the noise and words from entering his ears.

His head was shaking left and right trying to deny all of the prince's statements. You could define denial with the current state of the third prince.

It was almost like watching a little kid being told that he can't have his favorite toy, he just wouldn't believe it.

Except replace the strict parent with the sadistic first prince....

"ENOUGH! GUARDS!" The king annoyed with the outburst of his youngest useless child ordered the guards to bring the nuisance out of the throne room.

After the third prince was sent away crying and screaming for his father, the king shifted his gaze to the first prince and just said one sentence "Was that necessary?"

"Well, somebody had to reveal it to him or he would've been ignorant for the rest of his life, right now just was the perfect time" The first prince shrugged

'Jeez , it's hard to believe this is the first prince who was hailed as a genius' and most eligible engagement target for noble's'

His personality in my opinion is much worse than the waste crying over there.

'I'm pretty sure if the daughters of the nobles and the commoners saw this side of his, no doubt they would have been scared shitless.....pardon the language'

"Alright let's continue with your punishment Captain Felice Ephitira" The king stirred the topic back to the original purpose

I almost forgot this wasn't a drama that was happening in front of my eyes, but the place where I'll be punished. Truly regrettable, I was actually enjoying it a little.

"Captain Felice, normally you would be whipped and dismissed from your position for assaulting royalty, but as you can see the victim was that" The king said in a tired tone

Yeah, I see what you're saying king, It must have been embarrassing to be of the same blood as that.....

"So, for your punishment you will only be banished to the Korkus Forest for two weeks"

'The Korkus forest huh. Just a forest for weak level creatures and such, It was mostly used as a training ground for new recruits. not much of a punishment, more like a vacation.

"Understood" I agree to the 'punishment'

"Very well, everyone's dismissed!" The king ends the meeting after the goal has been accomplished

To him this must have been one of the most annoying tasks to have happened in his day today, my condolences.

I feel sorry for the king even if it was basically my fault that this whole fiasco has occurred.

Not that I wouldn't do it again if given the opportunity though...

In the entrance of my manor, just when I was heading out to practice, I meant an unexpected person.

"Captain Felice, what a coincidence"

Well what would you know, God doesn't like me having fortunate encounters afterall.....

First was the annoying third prince, then now comes someone equally, if not more of a pain.

The First prince Edward Rietfall.

I can't think of a more worst encounter, no wait maybe the straight faced cold king would have been more bad. But this doesn't mean the first prince is a good person in comparison to all the other people I could've met.

"To what do I owe this meeting with the great first prince?" I say with fake happiness

"Oh please, I know I am great but it's kind of embarrassing when it is said out loud captain. HAHAHA!" The prince smiles and laughs out loud with from the compliment given to him

'This guy...'

He really is royal blood, zero humbleness at all like the third prince and his father. Worst of all yet he accepts these compliments and acts all narcissistic, shamelessly, truly a unique person.

The prince coughs and gets back in the conversation "Ahem, well captain I heard you are setting out to the forest later today"

"Yes that is right"

"Well you should be careful about some dangers" The prince uses his rarely serious tone

"Dangers?" I reply with confusion

"Yes, by that I mean my idiot brother"

My eyebrows crease upon his words "Why would I need to be careful about the third prince?"

"Well you see, he has been a little unstable since the throne room incident you know" the third prince brought out his signature devil smirk

"He has been muttering your name saying it's your fault and stuff like that"

"My fault!? Wasn't it your fault he got humiliated in front of everybody though!" I angrily say to the perpetrator of the 'Throne room incident'.

"Well, you know that and that is a whole different story" The first prince chuckles

"He knows I have my father's favor and support from various nobles. I am basically untouchable in his eyes, but you on the other hand are just a commoner who managed to get many achievements. Although you have fame it didn't mean you were not in his reach was probably what the third prince thought"

I sigh in both frustration and fatigue as I look on my feet "Seriously, I need a break"

"There, there Felice just think of it as extra time for knight's watch" The first prince pats my back to cheer me up

Extra time in knight's watch? I never had to be on watch for a back stab in watch duty back when I was a recruit.....

"One thing confuses me though, Why are you telling me this?" I lift my head and look towards the first prince.
