I woke up in my warehouse feeling a bit empty. I spent some time playing with my Pokemon team and Manny. As smart as they are the Pokemon aren't making up for the lack of any long term human relationsh.i.p.s not surrounded by lies. The Pokemon are all to some degree dependent on me or have alien thought processes. Walts is the most human-like, but she is completely dependent on me. Rayquaza is the opposite completely independent but is an ancient dragon whose thought process doesn't make any sense to me. The rest of my team is somewhere in between. I still have the vault, but it's in stasis until I place it in a world or I can support it with my warehouse alone.

The rest of my warehouse is exactly as I left it 10 years ago. Well, there is a substantial layer of dust. I spend a week tidying and relaxing with my animal companions before deciding I've had enough and decide to move on to the next world. Which turns out to be Avatar the Last Airbender.

I decide I don't want any more life memories right now so I chose the Nomad or Drop-In origin. I consider what nation I want to be a part of, but the main factor for that is what kind of bender I want to be. That's an even harder choice, but Water benders can heal and it's so versatile. I'm really interested in the full limitations of it all, so I decide to be part of the water tribe. Then I'm randomly assigned a starting location, so I'm starting in Omashu, an allied town of the Northern Water Tribe. I was also assigned to be 14 years old again and will begin my journey 2 years before the avatar awakens. Now I need to know my full character budget so I pick out some drawbacks. I choose 3 different drawbacks. I will be hunted by the Fire nation, blind, and my eyes will be covered by a distinctive horizontal burn scar. I figure I'll be hunted by the Fire nation anyway so might as well benefit from it. The scar is harmless, and I'm hoping to pull off a water version of the tremor sense that earth benders use to counteract my blindness.

With my full budget, I start with selecting my origin related perks. I only select 1, Spiritualist which gives me an in-depth knowledge of spirits and makes them more friendly toward me. There aren't many good origin perks so I move on to bending perks. I of course chose to be a bender. Then selecting Bending Genius and Life Bending. The first does what it sounds like and the second is a water bending specification that allows me to bend the water in living organisms. I could spend more on bending arts, but I figure it's unnecessary and I can just learn them more by my self, so I have some excess to spend on stuff. I get some Water Tribe clothes and refilling water skin for free. I then get a Map that perfectly adjusts to whatever world I'm in as well as something called Original Master. Normally I would get an animal that is adept in my style of bending like a dragon for a fire bender, but water benders are a bit weird. Instead, I can draw inspiration from the tides, my water skin will refill daily instead of 3 times monthly, and the moon waning will not weaken or remove my ability to water bend. My budget has an odd amount left which I decide to spend on upgrading my warehouse. I know it won't help now, but I connect it to the local internet and got a second companion pod.
