Link entered the busy south market at night after Xia Shishu and the transparent little girl. Players were still everywhere, but there wasn't that many NPCs around. They needed to sleep… Players were around because they are playing in their sleep!

Only the roads are lit by old fire lamps, so most of the village is dark. If you walk into the alleyways, you would need a torch or else you'll be walking in darkness.

When people in the market saw Xia Shishu waving a teddy bear with complicated footsteps, they thought he was dancing.

"What is that guy doing?"

"Don't mind him. It might be cool looking, but why is he doing it?"

Some players whispered to the people around them, talking about Xia Shishu's actions like judges.

"Link! Lead the way to the village elder's house! I need to concentrate or else my spell casting on this little girl's soul will fail!" Xia Shishu lied to Link.. He did not have a lot of information on Silver Lake Village.. He doesn't know where the village elder lives. He's a noob! A beginner!

"Eh? Okay!" Link did not doubt Xia Shishu. If he knew that Xia Shishu didn't really need to do all those complicated movements at all, he might tear up because he really admires his party leader Pro Xiao Wugui.

Link guided Xia Shishu and he guided the little girl. They had to go all the way back to the village center because the elder lives near that place.

The village elder's house still has candles lit up inside. Xia Shishu kept waving the teddy around in front of the girl's face while Link knocked on the door.

Creak~

The door was slowly opened and a middle aged lady appeared. Her hair was in a mess, and her worried face made her look like she will break down at any moment.

"Who are you two? What do you want?" The middle aged lady asked them in an annoyed tone. Her daughter is still not awake and she is really concerned. If it's nothing, they can just leave!

Link was taken aback by the middle aged lady and looked at Xia Shishu who was still waving the doll.

Xia Shishu saw Link look at him and understood what to do. He cleared his throat and in a proud voice, he spoke, "Lady. The elder has requested for this Immortal's help, and this Immortal has come to save your daughter! Hurry up and lead the way!"

When the middle aged lady heard that her little girl can be woken up, she quickly opened the door wider saying, "Master Immortal please don't be offended by my words.. Come in quick."

As the village elder, his house was bigger than normal ones, and the interior has its own asset.

The lady took them and went towards a brightly lit room. Inside, a little girl lays on the bed, and the village elder sat next to the little girl. The little girl's face is pale, and her breathing is unsteady.

Right when the village elder see Xia Shishu enter the room, his eyes lit up. His saviour has come! The strong youth calling himself an immortal came.. If his daughter can wake up, he will truly be grateful.

"You've came!! You've came! Do you have a way of helping my daughter?" His hope was high.

Xia Shishu looked at him and breathed out before answering the elder, "Your daughter? I might be able to help. Look at my hand! Look at who is standing in front of my hand!"

When the parents of Niu Qiqi heard what Xia Shishu said, they were aghast. They looked at his hand a saw their daughter's favorite doll! But in front of the hand… They saw nothing! At this point, they were scared. What has happened to their daughter?

"She is in front of you? I cannot see her.. But I do not doubt you since you have her favorite doll! Hurry.. Mister Wugui please hurry and help our daughter! We beg you!" It was only now that Xia Shishu figured out that other people can't see the transparent little girl! DamN! He must've looked like a fool by moving his feets so much for no reason!

There is no pills for regret. "Village elder. I've already given you my words that I'll help you, and this Immortal always keep his words."

The elder heavily nodded and stepped away from his daughter, assuming that Xia Shishu will need space. All the people other than Xia Shishu and the little girl stood near the entrance. Xia Shishu might need their help, so they're standing there waiting for Xia Shishu's orders.

Shaking the teddy bear, he led the transparent little girl towards her body on the bed. He had seen movies where souls can leave and join back into their bodies, thus he made the girl get on top of her body…

Others were speechless.. What is Xiao Wugui doing? He's shaking the doll on top their daughter, but nothing is happening!

Xia Shishu was embarrassed. Nothing is happening! He lured the transparent girl down, and tried to gain some honour back, "Ahem! This Immortal checked the girl's situation, and found out that she is savable!"

The spectator didn't dare voice out their opinions. Aye, what if this guy gets mad at them? It seems like he is a powerful being!

Xia Shishu was at a loss.. What to do.. His perfect plan failed! It would've been awesome if everything went smoothly.

What did he miss? There was more to the quest than meets the eye.

There was something he needed to do, but he doesn't know what that something is!

'Think Xia Shishu! Think!' he told himself. Searching for that missing part in the quest right now is akin to searching for a black cat in a coal cellar!

What does he have at his disposal? What can he do to help the little girl?

Eventually, he thought of something, but he's not sure if it'll work!

"Bring me a small table, some well water, and a few lit candles!" He needed the table to write, the well water for the inkstone, and the candles to give off an Immortal like air.

As quickly as possible, the Niu parents quickly got what Xia Shishu ordered. The faster their daughter wakes up, the sooner they will feel relieved.

After taking care of the little stuff, Xia Shishu took out all his calligraphy items. He transferred the teddy bear to his left hand and kept shaking it so the little girl doesn't run away.

Xia Shishu dipped his brush into the black ink and began making symbols on a rectangular piece of paper.

He wanted to make a Soul Binding Fu Talisman. Trust! He must trust in the novels he read! He took the time to memorize Talisman images he saw on the novel page because he felt it was cool to be able to create such things!

He has fingers crossed inside his head because he has no free hand at the moment.

The first Talisman he made was out of shape and didn't look like a real Talisman at all.

The second one he made was better, but he felt like something was wrong with it.

The third one was the same as the previous one.

On the fourth try, his system rang out! Xia Shishu was delighted. Success after failure always makes one feel good.
