"Ah!" Aino just realised what she said and looked at her son. Raiden looked at his mother and asked: "Please answer me, mom, I've always wanted to ask this question." "Sigh" Aino sighed then said: "I didn't want to tell you this at least until we had to go back." "Go back? back where?" said Raiden. "To Konoha!" Said Aino while looking straight at her son. "Well it doesn't matter now, so I'll just tell you. First, let's go back home."

After reaching their house Raiden and Aino sat down while Aino started talking "Your father's name is Hitoshi Kira. You know about hidden villages right?" asked Aino. "Yeah, I heard some of the grandmas talking about them, they are full of ninja right?" answered Raiden. Aino nodded and continued "Well I and your father are part of the village hidden in the leaf Konoha! A couple of months ago the Third Great Ninja war ended, I met your father in that war, on the battlefield. I was out on a mission when we encountered an ambush, after fighting for a while my squad was mostly wiped out with me remaining, that's when your father came in and tried to rescue me unfortunately even if he was a Jonin we were still surrounded by 3 Jonin and 10 Chuunin, so after a bit, we tried to escape by jumping down a cliff, to which he took the fall for me. we were Both injured but his injuries were much worse than mine because of the fall, I tended to him with what little medical Ninjutsu I had learnt, while we were getting closer to each other. After ten days he was finally able to move freely, so we went back to the camp. Even after going back I just couldn't forget how he saved me and took the fall for me, so I looked for him and a couple of weeks after that I fell in love with him." Aino said all that with a reminiscing look which had sadness in her eyes.

She continued "Unfortunately, there was a problem, I, Uchiha Aino, am from the Uchiha clan and it is hated in my clan for blood to leave the family and most people who marry outside the family are exiled from the clan and marked as traitors unless the child awakens his Sharingan (A/N: all true checked on izumi uchiha's wiki page she was exiled and after her father died during the kyubi attack she awakened her Sharingan and was allowed to rejoin the clan), which was why nobody knew about us except my closest friends, them being, Uchiha Mikoto, my cousin and the Uchiha clan head's wife, and Nara Yoshino, the Nara clan head's wife, and Uzumaki Kushina, Konoha's yellow flash's wife one of the Hokage candidates and a war hero. After telling them they helped me keep it a secret especially Mikoto. and that worked until four years ago I found out I was pregnant, with you." She said with a smile that held happiness and sadness at the same time.

"That was an issue because we wouldn't be able to hide anymore, so we decided to retire from being shinobi and go to the countryside to raise you so you don't face any discrimination. I was able to retire as a special Jonin because of being pregnant and being a clan member of one of the noble clans with no one knowing except the doctor, the Hokage and my friends, but it wasn't the same for your father he was civilian Jonin shinobi in a time of war and they didn't know why he wanted to retire especially when he was only 27, but after some convincing with the help of my friends pressuring their husbands, they helped him get a deal, he'll do an assassination mission, if he succeeded he would have been able to retire. after I settled down in the village I waited for your father, but he never came." Said Aino now crying. "I tried asking, but the said that they don't know what happened to him. When I asked who he was sent after they refused to tell me."

"And here we are three years later, I was going to take you back to Konoha when you were five, and I still plan to do the same." She looked at Raiden who had his head down. 'What is this feeling? RAGE! or sadness. Maybe both.' He looked up at his mother who was shocked while looking at his eyes which were spiralling red with one tomoe and said: "Don't worry mom, I'm sure dad is fine he's just injured and trying to get healed and even if he isn't, I'll find a way to bring him back no matter what so that you're no longer sad." 'and take revenge!' He said to his crying mother who was still shocked at his eyes.

'No! why did he have to awaken them so young, I knew I shouldn't have told until he graduated.' thought Aino, sad that Raiden had to experience emotions strong enough to awaken his Sharingan she then said: "Honey, stop circulating your chakra." He flinched and realised that he was circulating his chakra in his eyes. "Eh, why did I unconsciously circulate my chakra." asked Raiden. 'He doesn't need to know about the Sharingan for now. he's too young' thought Aino then said: "You must have been overwhelmed, now go wash up for dinner." They just realised it was already sunset and went to wash up.

The next day, Raiden asked his mother "Mom, I thought about what you said and I realised that if I have power no one would dare to do anything to you or dad or discriminate or exile me, if I awaken the Sharingan and become strong even if they wanted to do anything they won't be able to, so please train me." Aino was not surprised that he would want strength after yesterday's talk and said to him while smiling "Then get ready."
