Lightning Sage

Jiraiya looked like he was in deep thought before he suddenly brightened up and looked towards Rasa with a wicked smile.

"Hehe, I don't want a lot, just three kilograms of Chakra Metal."

Rasa went wide-eyed "That is the equivalent of 5 million Ryo, I already told you that we are facing an economic crisis."

"Come on, it's just some ores lying around. Didn't I already agree to stop taking missions from the land of wind, your crisis will be done in no time. Not to mention that this will stop him from rampaging and give your son peace of mind."

Rasa snorted and thought hard about it. "Since he is the last line of defence for Sunagakure, he can't fail. Will your seal be able to help him control the One-tails power more?"

"This boy's power has nothing to do with the one-tail, the seal only manipulates his mind and when there is an opening, the one-tails takes over, but the sand wall that protects him is his own power, not the one-tails."

Rasa was shocked at the declaration of the seal master, Suna has been trying to create someone with the one-tails abilities since it was founded.

The closest they ever got to was having someone with magnetism release infuse sand with their chakra to make it a kind of metal sand, like the third Kazekage's ability to control iron sand or his own to control gold dust.

But, his own son, who he thought was nothing more than a failed experiment that will keep rampaging in the village, turned out to be someone with the ability to manipulate sand naturally.

'This boy, if we seal Shukaku and I train him, he might be able to fully control him in the future! The village will have a secret weapon.' Thought Rasa to himself thinking about the possibilities of what would happen if Gaara was nurtured by him.

After a while, he looked up and stared at Gaara before saying "I will give you what you want as long as you seal the beast probably."

"Great, I trust that you are a man of your world so I'll seal him now." Jiraiya turned around again towards Gaara and started doing hand seals before putting his arm on Gaara's abdomen and shouting "Four Directions Seal!"

Around the sand sealing method, another circular shape started forming. Four pillars were coming out of it, each in a different direction.

"I didn't release his original seal, I just reinforced it. This Four Directions Seal is one of the stronger seals that I know, it can seal even the Yonbi with non of its chakra leaking at all.

Normally when sealing a tailed beast, you would leave an opening for the chakra to come out so the Jinchuriki can get used to it and eventually control the power. I didn't leave any, you can loosen the seal with this when you think he's ready."

Jiraiya took out a scroll and wrote several seals on it before handing it to Rasa.

"With this, the one-tails won't be able to control him for sure?" Yashamaru who has been quiet this entire time spoke.

"Yes, I am one of the few master sealers in the world, sealing the One-tails is easy for me, not to mention reinforcing and existing seal."

Rasa nodded towards him before saying "Your reward will be delivered to your residence before you leave Suna, for now, please go back. We will discuss the details of our business on a later date."

"Fine by me."

Raiden and Itachi were both released from the hospital after they woke up as it was only chakra exhaustion for Itachi and Raiden was only passed out and didn't really get damaged from hitting the wall since his physical parameters were off the charts when he hit it.

He probably only passed out because of all those lightning strikes hitting his nervous system which was a bit too much for him.

It was already night when they reached the residence where they stayed during the past month. At the door, there was a ninja standing outside with Jiraiya on the other side of the door.

When they were right in front of the door, the ninja left. Raiden looked towards Jiraiya with questioning eyes, but Jiraiya didn't answer him and just invited them in.

"I, as your sensei have to give you a present for getting a promotion so I'll give you this." Said Jiraiya as soon as they entered the house and pointed towards a black box.

Raiden raised an eyebrow at that and looked towards the box intently before approaching it. He opened the box and looked inside to find three brick-like pieces of metal that had a sheen l.u.s.tre to them.

He stared at them for a while before looking towards Jiraiya with a look that said 'Explain'. Jiraiya broke his smile and sighed.

"You don't even know chakra metal, this gift might be a bit too extravagant for you."

"This is chakra metal?! I didn't know you were this generous, or rich."

"Hmph, if I wanted to, I can become on the ric.h.e.s.t ninjas in the elemental nations, but I do the village a lot of missions for free. Anyway, of course, I am generous. You should thank me, normal Jonin would need to save up for quite some time to even get a single brick of those."

"Thank you sensei." Said Raiden while bowing a bit towards Jiraiya who started acting pridefully.

"But how did you get them? Especially since we're not even back at Konoha."

"Hehe, I did a job for the Kazekage and extort- I mean asked for this as my reward."

"What kind of job?" Asked Itachi from the background quite interested in a job that would get you this reward.

"I sealed their tailed beast probably and helped him not rampage in the village anymore."

"Doesn't that mean strengthening another village?" Asked Raiden confused why he would that.

"What do you know? For other villages, he is indeed strengthened, but if he attacks Konoha, I, as the sealer, obviously made a flaw I can take advantage of to defeat him quickly so if Suna ever thinks of breaking their alliance with us, we don't need to worry too much about them."

"As expected of someone that has survived two great wars, you think ahead." Said Itachi looking impressed at the active thinking of Jiraiya.

"Anyway, since you train in swords, you can use these to make a sword or whatever you want. Go to sleep, for now, we'll be leaving tomorrow morning." Said Jiraiya losing interest in the subject for now.

They both headed towards their rooms and went to sleep.

The following day, they were standing at the gate of Suna. Temari and Baki were there to bid them farewell and see them off.

Temari said her goodbyes to Raiden who was now her friend after a month of going out together to explore the village.

Baki delivered a message about their deal from the Kazekage to Jiraiya.

They finally set off, back to Konoha as Chuunin!
