Lightning Sage

While walking through the village, Raiden was becoming more nervous with each step.

'Even though I want to prove them all wrong with strength, but I'm not strong enough I don't even know how to control my chakra and have no Sharingan. I can only double my training after settling down.' Raiden thought and reignited his d.e.s.i.r.e for strength.

Aino looked at her son and like she knew what he was thinking about sighed then thought 'don't worry now that we're in Konoha I'll help you gain strength.'

They continued walking down the main road while crossing a lot of shops and buildings until Aino stopped at a certain shop. Raiden looked at the shop's sign and it read Ichiraku ramen.

"What is this shop mom? why did you stop?" Asked Raiden.

"This was Kushina-san's favourite restaurant." Raiden stayed quiet until his mother said: "Ok let's keep moving."

They stopped at a general store to get supplies as Aino knew they had no supplies in her house. After walking for another fifteen minutes they finally reached the Uchiha compound.

When they tried to get it the guards, part of the police force, stopped them "Who are you? what is your business in the Uchiha compound?" Aino blinked then after some thought sighed and took out her emblem. 'Sigh, I forgot I've been gone for more than five years.' She thought.

"Eh! You're an Uchiha, how come I've never seen you before?" Asked one the guards after checking her emblem.

"I've been away from the village for the past five years with permission from the clan head." Said Aino after taking her emblem back.

"Then who's the kid?" Asked the guard.

"He's my son." Answered Aino. "Fine, go ahead." Said the guard after checking their identities without focusing on Raiden's background too much.

Aino and Raiden entered the clan compound then Aino started walking in a certain direction a couple of minutes later they reached a Japanese style house then Aino stood before it.

"Is this our house?" Asked Raiden. "Yes, this is where I used to live." She said while reminiscing.

"Ok then let's unpack and clean this place up." said Aino before entering to find the house extremely dusty with thick layers of dust everywhere.

She sighed and said: "Looks like it's cleaning before unpacking."

Two hours later, the house was fully cleaned and they started unpacking. Another hour later, they were fully settled in. "It's close to noon, I'll make us some lunch while you finish up here, ok?" Said Aino as she went into the kitchen and started unpacking the food they got on the way then started preparing lunch.

After having lunch, and getting some rest it was almost 2 P.M, so Aino washed up and took Raiden out.

"Where are we going, mom?" He asked. "We'll go visit Mikoto-nee-san" She answered. Raiden remembered Uchiha Mikoto being his mother's cousin then kept walking with his mother towards the centre of the Uchiha compound. After reaching the centre of the Uchiha compound, there was a slightly bigger Japanese style house there.

After knocking the door, A child that looked no more than seven opened the door while holding a baby. "Yes?" Asked the child. "Itachi-chan, is that you? the last time I saw you, you were only a year old. and who's this little cutey?" Asked Aino. "I am sorry but I don't recognize may I ask who you are?" Asked Itachi. "Ah, it only makes sense, I am your mother's cousin Uchiha Aino and this is my son Hitoshi Raiden." said Aino. 'Hitoshi? So his father is not an Uchiha like Izumi huh?' Said Itachi to himself. but his surprise about Raiden's last name was seen by Aino.

"Anyway is your mother home? or father?" Asked Aino. "mother just stepped out she should be back quickly and father has work he should be back later tonight." answered Itachi. "Please come in Aunt Aino, she should be right back." continued Itachi. "Ok, Raiden behave yourself ok?" Said Aino to her son who answered: "Yes mom."

After entering the house, Itachi put Sasuke down and poured tea to Aino and Raiden, and as they were trying the tea the door opened to reveal Mikoto who just came back. "Nee-san!" Said Aino to an astonished Mikoto who then sighed. "Aino-chan you're here!" Said Mikoto. Raiden also greeted Mikoto "Hello Mikoto-san." "Oh, you must be Raiden-Kun." Said Mikoto while smiling at him.

"Itachi, entertain Raiden-Kun for a bit." Said Mikoto to her son then took Aino to the kitchen. "Sigh, you chose a really bad time to come back, but I guess I should've known once you heard about Kushina-san you'd come back." said Mikoto. "I was planning on coming back in a couple of months anyway. now tell me, what happened to Kushina-san?" asked Aino.

Mikoto sighed before she said: " you didn't know this as it is an S-class secret only elite Jonin of the village know, but Kushina was the nine tails Jinchuriki." "What?!!" Siad a shocked Aino. "This happened a month ago. before the attack Kushina was pregnant, and I heard from Fugaku the seal weakens when a Jinchuriki is about to give birth. I don't know what exactly happened, but the nine-tails was released in the middle of the village with a Sharingan pattern in its eyes. all people that were in the delivery room were killed including Biwako-sama, Lord Third's wife, and all the anbu in the room after the nine-tails was released it wrecked Havok on the village and a lot of civilians and shinobi lost their lives in its rampage. After that Lord Fourth came and teleported it out of the village and sacrificed himself and Kushina to kill it." Explained Mikoto.

"Now the Uchiha are in a bad position because the village suspects it was us who controlled the Kyubi to attack the village." Finished Mikoto. Aino was stunned for a while before responding "Then what happened to the baby?" "The Hokage said that it had died along with them." Mikoto had tears at the corner of her eyes thinking how her friends entire family died.

"Sigh, I wish I was able to see her in these past years at least once." Said Aino also sad about what happened. "May I know when will brother-in-law come back I have multiple questions for him." She asked another question. "He'll back by dinner time. The village is a mess and because the Uchiha is responsible for the police force he has to work more than usual now, stay for dinner I'm sure you have a lot of other questions" explained Mikoto.
