Zack couldn't finish speaking when loud shirks came from where the blockade was.

Back on the horde.

The fire was rapidly gaining speed with how dense and endless was the forest completely surrounding the school building and the Goblin horde. At the same time the temperature was so high that caused cracks to appear on the windows.

The outermost goblins in the horde were burning while releasing shirks of pain.

Everyone watching this scene were stunned as they watched the cruel destiny of goblins dying burning to ashes.

Not much time passed before there was nothing but ashes around the school while the fire continued consuming the forest in the distance.

Back on the rooftop, all of them sighed in relaxation.

Ethan: I think that it's like a break in a survival game before increasing spontaneously the quality of the waves.

10 minutes later, the voice from the void came again.

The ground shook a little, as big green monsters appeared in front of the school blockade rushing at it with smaller green creatures beside them.

Veronica: Well don't you have a way to kill all of them like you did with the Goblins?

Ethan: Hahaha.... Veronica have you ever played a survival game like our current situation?

Mike/Hugh: Time.

Mike: All of evaluations in those games focused on how long you last against the hordes.

Hugh: You could have an excellent performance but if you don't last a longer time it doesn't matter one bit compared with a shitty one but that lasts more time.

Veronica: Wait. So you are saying that you won't deal with them? But with how powerful they seem will breakthrough and start a slaughter through the school!

Veronica: So what. So what! They are our colleagues! Fellow students and teachers! Are you just going to watch them die!

Before Veronica could continue, she felt hands on her shoulders stopping her, turning to look she found that it was Martha and Rias pulling her away from the three guys.

Hugh: What should we do Ethan?

Ethan: Wait for now.

Mike: Yeah, the ultimate objective is to let time pass while we survive.

The school was in complete silence. A morbid smell filled the school. Blood covered the floor while limbs were spread everywhere. It was scene directly from hell.

In the second floor. In a classroom. The principal had escaped here with a small group of students and teachers, hiding from the monsters.

On the roof of school building.

Ethan and his group were still alive and fine, as the orcs still didn't manage to find them.

Veronica: Hey Ethan aren't you concern that the moment those monsters find us, we won't have a way of escaping?

Ethan: Oh, you don't have to worry about anything for now. As long the creatures that spawn aren't specific in searching they won't find us. How is the preparation, Hugh?

Hearing the howls coming from down below, the group went to the edge of the roof where they found several wolfs down there howling together until they gazed at their group, immediately rushing inside.
