Ethan: "What the....."

Ethan couldn't continue his though as the pain in his eyes increased making him hold his face while sweating. His actions didn't went unnoticed as both Martha and Vera knew what it meant.

Vera: Lord are you alright?

Vera immediately rushed to his side supporting.

Ethan: HAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Pushing Vera away, Ethan released all of his power as a blood red covered his body. At the same time his eyes started bleeding.

Ethan couldn't see anything else as he fell to the ground on his knees screaming in pain.

Vera: MARTHA!!! Quickly heal him!

Martha: O-Oh, yes.

Stunned Martha woke up by Vera shouting. Meanwhile both Carlos and Mila stood silent on the corner watching everything. The same though was on their minds.

Carlos/Mila: "What the hell is going?"

Martha placed her hands, covered in a weak white light, on top of Ethan head.

Ethan: Stop!

Still grabbing his head in pain, Ethan released his aura again pushing Martha and Vera away. Martha that didn't possess the a strong body like Vera because of her class had small traces of blood on the corners of her mouth.

Ethan: Puff...puff.... Martha you continue what you have been doing so far. Vera take the two doctors to their room.

Vera: yes lord.

Vera replying weakly guided the two doctors out while Martha went to Hugh side. On the other side Ethan stood up still with his eyes closed as blood continuously came out of them.

Ethan: "HAHAHAHAHA"

Even without his eyes Ethan could guide himself through the mansion with his strengthened senses.

Ethan: ".......Rank 3 creature..."

The next day.

Ethan: "Hmmm..... she said that it was around this direction."

After recovering a little bit Ethan left his mansion going where Cecily felt the aura of a Rank 3 creature.

Ethan: "It has been some time since the wormhole of the Insect World."

Ethan could relax while in the forest. Even though he hadn't full recovered from his Analysis on Hugh but he still possessed his strength combined with his improved senses causing him to know everything in 3 meters around him.

Ethan: "Since the first wormhole was of the Insect World then what should be the next one?"

Around three days later.

In the mansion.

Everyone worked hardily to harvest the crystals from the ants while not neglecting their daily tasks like taking care of the farms, keeping watch for any incoming enemy and such.

Veronica: Mike.

Mike: Yes.

Veronica: When do you think that bastard will be back?

Mike: Come on, Veronica. You should know better.

Veronica: I know. I know. He is only looking out for us. Isn't what you always tell me.

Mike: Exactly. Do you really want to be part of the group that goes out there? Didn't you see the state in which was the newcomers?

Veronica: Sigh.... you are too protective of him. Why don't you be like him and try to become a ruler of some sorts?

Mike: …... the pain and stress is not worth it compared with what I have here. Ethan may be a thick headed guy but he listens to me and Hugh. He just tries to do things his own way. So to answer you question me and Hugh are basically like rulers here with Ethan in charge, although we won't be true rulers.

Veronica: Sigh..... I see. You don't want much.

Mike: Of course not. I will be glad to just live well without much problems.

Veronica: At least he could let us use fire or something like that to get rid of this corpses.

Mike: He must have something planned to do with them. I am more concern with the time he is taking to get here.

Veronica: Hmmm.... with his strength he shouldn't have any problem, right?

Mike: I don't know. Our Rank determines our battle power basically but there is all kinds of abilities and races that could overturn that.

Veronica: Should we sent a team to get him?

Mike: ….. let's wait a little while longer.

Josephina: ENEMY INCOMING!!!

As Mike and Veronica were harvesting the ants crystals and talking with each other. Josephina scream came she was tasked of keeping watch together with Ana as they had took turns while doing it with the rest of the group. The only ones not participating in this kind of job were the two doctors, Vera, Martha and, of course, Hugh.

Their reaction was rapid, as Mike and Veronica the current workers on the ants crystals lifted their weapons. Mike was holding on his sword while Veronica on her wooden staff. At the same time a weak golden glow appeared covering Mike body and Veronica staff head was glowing in a bright red light.

Turning to where Josephina was pointing they saw a shadow coming their way through the trees.

???: Settle down. What f.u.c.k.i.n.g enemy? Don't you have better eyes?

Hearing a familiar voice, the two of them lowered their weapons.

Veronica: You sure took your time.

Mike: Must been a tough one.

???: No shit. Do you really think that a creature of that Rank won't be difficult.
