With each punched Ethan felt his vision darkening.

Hugh' fist stopped an inch from Ethan face that was already bloody.

Hugh lifting his head turned to Martha as tears rolled down his face.

Hugh: Martha. You are fine.

Martha: I also missed you.

Hugging each other the two of them ignored the rest of the world. It was a lovely scene in everyone eyes except for Ethan that had his vision red.

Ethan: Damn. Couldn't you at least pull your punches a little bit?

Hugh immediately opened his eyes as a terrifying pressure fell on Ethan sending to the ground.

Martha: Come on sweetie. Now is not the time.

Hugh: …....

Hugh only stared at Martha as his aura continued pressuring Ethan to the ground.

Martha: Leave that for later. You can beat the crap out of him after this finishes.

Hugh: ….....fine.

Lifting his aura from Ethan, Hugh didn't even turned around as he rushed to the side.

Hugh in the air rushed to Kyle and Clyde side where they began to be pushed back to the countless monsters coming at them.

Hugh suddenly appeared in front of them with his hands holding blue Ki blasts throwing them into the horde of monsters coming at them.

Each Ki blast exploded decimating all of the incoming monsters.

Kyle: Oh my god.

Clyde: Jesus Christ.

Hugh: You must be some new guys. Keep up the good work. Just yell for help.

Saying that Hugh flew off towards the opposite where Mike was as he did the same everywhere.

Ethan: Now that is power.

Ethan through his connection with the Endless Vine it allowed him to 'see' everything Hugh had done.

Ethan: Aii..... "Hugh strength surely increased but it still isn't as I expected... it should be these system we have. I need to see his stats to make a better conclusion."

With Hugh intervention the pressure on them from the monsters decreased by a lot, making it so that the Endless Vine and the Thunder Hawk could handle it by themselves. Especially considering as the Endless Vine grew stronger with every creature absorbed and the Thunder Hawk was only slightly behind as it's wings cut through the monsters like butter.

Ethan: Josephina. Ana.

Walking to the farms they had between the mansion and the walls. Ethan called out.

Josephina and Ana immediately stepped forward.

Ethan: Go replace Mike and the rest. You just have to keep watch for anything unexpected.

Josephina/Ana: Aye.

Ethan: "This is for the best. Now with Hugh we can handle this situation easily."

Hugh flying through the air landed in front of Ethan releasing his aura.

As Ethan was thinking, the ground beneath him started trembling, looking up he found that a green portal appeared in the sky.

Mike: …. the next wormhole. You know that this will increase the difficulty of our current situation.

Meanwhile they were talking the green portal stabilized as creatures of all sizes appeared falling.

Ethan communicating through his mind ordered the Thunder Hawk to take care of the monsters in the air, which were falling and some flying, while at the same time indicating to the Endless Vine to rise to Rank 3.

The Thunder Hawk immediately turned his flight direction rushing at the falling monsters.

Ethan: Find a way to help Cecily in the construction of the mansion.

Mike: On it.

Ethan: Meanwhile I will accept my fate.

What Mike was referring to was that Ethan had his face filled with bruises.

Ethan: Martha. You should go to Mike. We are going to use the crystals to rise our Ranks.

Martha: Okay. See you later honey.

Hugh: Now what do you want?

The moment Martha back was unseen in the distance, Hugh' voice turned from warm to cold.

Ethan: Walk with me.
