"His health has been deteriorating and is constantly asking for your presence. Lu Xinyi, won't you consider and visit him at least once then?" Sun Feiyan said.

Lu Xinyi could tell that her cousin was only giving their grandfather some face by asking her when, in truth, Sun Feiyan's eyes revealed what was on her heart. She didn't want her to step within the Sun Estate.

She took a step forward, closing the distance between them. For other people that could see them, the impression they gave was that one was greeting a relative Lu Xinyi hadn't seen for a long time. However, her eyes flashed with mischief as she whispered to Sun Feiyan's ear.

"Sun Feiyan, I have to commend you for trying to use me against the Sun family. Aren't you tired of pretending? You lured me out using Meng Jiao, and you leaked Sun Qiushan's whereabouts for me to rescue her. I must say you played me well." Her voice was almost a whisper but enough for her cousin to hear her clearly.

Sun Feiyan smiled smoothly back to her, betraying nothing of her annoyance. She knew she couldn't use Lu Xinyi for too long anyway.

"Ah, how can I resist when you're so willing to dirty your hand to save them?"

Lu Xinyi's expression darkened. If they weren't in a public place, she would've slapped her cousin's face.

At that moment, Shen Yi showed up, halting whatever words she wanted to say to Lu Xinyi. Lu Xinyi left her at once, striding towards the imposing man who looked at his wife with such rare gentleness.

Lu Xinyi seemed to have not heard what she said at all, but with her slight nod, Jiao Jiao knew her mistress understood her.

Her boss picked up today's newspaper next to her and read the headlines. For the past two weeks, she'd been paying attention to the trends on the stock market and Sun Corporation's latest scandal.

"Where's my husband?" she asked. It wasn't new to her to wake up alone in their bed, but Shen Yi always leaves her a note before leaving. However, this morning, there was none. She only sent her a quick good morning text but didn't receive any response.

Indeed, she was actually expecting that the Shen family would issue an official statement over their marriage and not to announce it on media, but it was said that the informer was from the Civil Registry Bureau.
