"He is mine. Mine. Do you understand me, stupid bitch?" Lu Xinyi sneered every word at Duan Yong's face. She was aware of the shocked expression of the employees that were waiting outside the room. She could hear Yan Cai's voice calling for medics to help Shen Yi.

It was a good thing that Yan Cai had followed her and helped her deal with Shen Yi. She had no idea what kind of drug Duan Yong used on her husband, but the resident doctor of the company might be able to resolve their problems.

Her eyes went back to Duan Yong's face.

"If you dare look at my husband's way again, I'll take care of you myself." Lu Xinyi yanked Duan Yong's hair tighter, forcing her to look into her eyes.

Duan Yong stared at Lu Xinyi, dumbfounded on what she's said.

"Hu... husband?" Duan Yong's fear rose to another level. She had no idea that this woman was Boss Yi's wife. Actually, no one had guessed that Boss Yi and Lu Xinyi had reached that level in their relationship.

"There's a reason why he wouldn't look at you, you bitch! So I heard you've been trying to get my Shen Yi's attention for years. For someone that was well educated as you, I would have assumed that you know that disinterest is a sign of rejection. You want him for years, and yet you've failed to notice that he hated your stinking scent to the bones?"

Lu Xinyi gave her a devilish smile, terror evident in Duan Yong's face.

"Now, let me fix this problem. I shall put bitches like you in their rightful places. In fact, why don't you clear up your desk? I'm pretty sure my husband doesn't need you to work for him anymore. Do you want to know what will happen once he comes back to his senses?" Lu Xinyi's grin made Duan Yong's knees buckle. Only Lu Xinyi's tight hold in her hair was keeping her upright.

Lu Xinyi let go of her hair and pushed her down the floor. Her eyes were so cold as she stared down on the woman who dared to seduce her man. She wondered why didn't she react the same way when she caught Gong Yijun and Meng Jiao having sex.

Was her feeling for Shen Yi deeper than what she had for Gong Yijun before? She pushed those thoughts aside.

"You have ten minutes to leave this place, and never come back. If you dare to say what transpired on this room in public, I'll make sure you will never get another job from anywhere else. Leave! Before I change my mind, and ruin your face for eternity."

Her threats were empty. Of course, she didn't have the power to blacklist Duan Yong to other companies; only her husband had the power to exercise such punishment to his employees. She was glad that she didn't have to deal with Duan Yong anymore and could focus on Shen Yi's needs.

The medic team with a doctor arrived shortly and checked Shen Yi's vital signs. Lu Xinyi was so relieved that help was finally here.

Lu Xinyi's eyes darted around the room before stopping at Xuan Ling. She remembered how arrogant she was when Lu Xinyi asked her to move and make way.

"You helped her?" Lu Xinyi asked, pertaining to Duan Yong's scheme.

Xuan Ling lifted her hands and shook her head. She was afraid that Lu Xinyi would also fire her from her job. She needed this job, and it would hurt her family if she lost it.

"No, Miss Lu. Miss Duan just asked me to keep an eye on the door while she speaks with Boss Yi. I never knew she drugged him. I swear." Xuan Ling couldn't control the tears streaming down her face. She couldn't even look at Lu Xinyi's eyes.

"Please, Miss Lu. I really didn't know about Miss Duan's plans. I cannot lose my job. Please, my family relies on me," she begged.

Lu Xinyi looked at her with cold gaze.

"I'm surprised to hear that someone who values her family like to see my marriage fall apart."

"No!!!" Xuan Ling lifted her head and cried harder. "Please, Miss Lu. Forgive me for my arrogance earlier. I have no idea that Boss Yi got married."

Lu Xinyi didn't say a word but listened to her.

"Please, Miss Lu. Just for once, forgive me. I wasn't thinking straight earlier. What should I do so you can forgive me?"

"Out of my sight!" Lu Xinyi replied, and Xuan Ling left the room immediately.

Lu Xinyi walked and watched how the medics check on her husband.

"Yan Cai. Get all the name of the employees that witnessed this event from the HR. I will let my husband deal with them later." Her cold gaze was replaced with worry. Those who had heard her were white as a sheet.
