Lord of the North

Chapter 59: Today I will be a listener

"Where did this Jason come from so much secrecy, and he still divides the military forbidden zone?" Willett muttered as he looked at the soldiers blocking him in front of him.

"Let's go, go to the shops in the town first." She turned around and said to the old butler: "We will visit the Marquis Jason later."

She is now very interested in the ice field full of dangers and opportunities. Since she has the opportunity to learn about it, she must not give up. Presumably Jason will not be unsure if he has sent an expedition.

What she didn't know was that Jason did send someone without knowing the area.

"Everyone, you can clean it here first." The cavalry took Don and the others to the bathhouse of the barracks and said to them.

"Then you can eat in the east cafeteria, and I will go there to inform you when the Marquis-sama arrives."

The entire military camp was planned by Jason in a very orderly manner, with canteens, bathhouses, military houses, toilets, and training grounds all available.

These people have been on the ice field for more than three months, and they are already very dirty. It would be very rude if they were received by Jason in this way.

"Thank you!" Dorn and the others hurriedly thanked them, they really didn't expect this just now.

It didn't take long for Jason to bring Lancelot and ten castle guards to the barracks, and Dorn and others were also waiting in the cafeteria.

"Call them to the chamber." Jason hurried over and told his soldiers to say, "Let’s invite Mayor Dia over here too."

Mayor Dia, who was originally a member of the town government, was not allowed to enter this barracks, but considering Don’s identity, the family decided to make an exception.

"Yes!"

Soon Jason saw Dorn and others in the barracks chamber.

The people who put on the new robes don't look as embarrassed as before.

"Are you left?" Jason asked, looking at these wounded hunters.

He clenched his fists, wondering whether his decision was right or wrong.

"Yes, my lord." Dorn stepped forward to resist the sadness in his heart and said, "There are only 17 of us left on the fifty-member expedition."

"Have you encountered a blizzard?" Jason's expression was a bit ugly. The blizzard on the ice sheet was enough to destroy a regular army. The army sent by the Kingdom of Lopez was the best example.

"No, we first met a group of barbarians who came out to hunt, and then a monster that had never been seen before!" Dorn's eyes were full of hatred.

If Rockefeller fails to kill it, then in the future I will personally go to revenge, even if I die there!

   "What kind of behemoth?"

"He is more than ten meters tall, is white all over, and looks like a giant ape." Dorn recalled.

"Will it threaten the security of the territory?" Jason asked nervously. If this behemoth enters the iron teeth collar, I wonder if Lancelot can stop it.

"It shouldn't. There hasn't been such an invasion of giant beasts in hundreds of years." Dorn calmed his mind and said: "Maybe it has never appeared here because it is afraid of Rockefeller's existence."

"Fear of Rockefeller?" Jason was puzzled. Rockefeller's guarding of this land was probably just the imagination of the people of the Northland.

"If Rockefeller hadn't appeared, we might have stayed there forever." Dorne's tone was full of awe for Rockefeller.

Is it really like Mayor Dia said that Rockefeller, the giant bear, is really guarding this land?

But why does it guard this place?

This question Jason decided it would be better to put it aside, his own strength is still not up to the point of exploring this terrifying natural spirit.

If Lancelot breaks through the sky knight, maybe you can try to touch it with kindness.

This kind of creatures that have existed since ancient times and have a history longer than the Titans who claim to be gods have too many secrets worth discovering.

"Can you tell me more about your experience?" Jason said softly, Don and others must have suffered an unimaginable predicament, and he will be a listener today.

"good!"

On the other side, Willett came to the Kyle family's shop in Iron Tooth Town.

"Miss! I'm so lucky to have come here in person!" Harder had waited at the door of the shop early, and when he saw her, his face became familiar.

The servants accompanying Wellet had come here to clean up the room for Wellet, so he had long known that Wellet might be coming.

If I can make the eldest lady remember me, I will become soaring!

   Harder thought excitedly.

"Well, is there any big business in the shop during this time?" She walked into the shop and asked casually.

"Oh! How can there be any big business in such a small place?" Harder wanted to follow Willett cheeky, but was blocked by the old butler.

So he can only talk to Willett through the old butler.

"But the Marquis Jason came a few days ago and wanted to buy the star stone, but I hanged him for a few days in order to be able to sell it at a high price."

Although the star stone is not very useful, it can be used as an ornament because of its scarcity, so the price is not cheap.

"Idiot." The old butler murmured, but his voice was so small that Harder didn't hear it.

As expected, Willett stopped and turned around slowly.

"Hehe, what do you want, Miss?" Harder thought she wanted to admire herself, so he asked with a smile.

"Are you one of Willenster's?" Willett still smiled, seeing nothing wrong.

"Yes, yes, I'm under the head of Westlandster." Harder was flattered and hurriedly replied.

Willenst is the person in charge of the northern market in the Kingdom of Lopez appointed by Willett. UU reading www.uukanshu.com

"Go back and tell Willenst to change to a clever person to take over the shops in Tiefang Town." It's just that Willett's next sentence frightened Harder, this is to give up himself!

"Big...Miss..." He said in a bewildered manner, and now he doesn't know where he is wrong.

It's a pity that Willett didn't have the mood to explain to him, and turned around and walked into the shop.

"Your self-righteousness is likely to cause an invisible barrier between the Kyle family and the Marquis Jason." The old butler patiently explained to Harder: "After all, you were from the Kyle family in Ironfang during this time. Spokesperson."

"This..." Harder's face was as gray as hell. Only then did he realize that he had missed a big opportunity, and that he had personally ruined this big opportunity.

"What an idiot!" Willett was a little angry, and the person appointed by Willenster was too narrow-minded.

Maybe he didn't pay enough attention to Jason, it was his own mistake, and he failed to make it clear to him.

"Miss, all people need to be tempered to become a good man, let's give him a chance." The old housekeeper said kindly after coming in.

He has lived for decades, he is very tolerant of this kind of thing, and understands the difficulties of these low-level people.

"Well, I know." Willett also knew that he could not be driven into the abyss because of a mistake, so he was left with one last chance, but Iron Tooth Town couldn't stay.

In this way, he can also establish his own positive image among the bottom of the family chamber of commerce.

"Let him prepare some star stones for me. When we visit Marquis Jason these few days, let me express our apologies for this incident."

"You are tolerant and wise." The old butler said with a smile.
