Lords Of Immortal Kingdom

Chapter 15 - Second Inheritance Treasure

Inside of the bottle was a porcelain sculpture with a small letter around it. Seeing the reward, Brave sighed once again getting cheated out of a good reward.

The name of the porcelain sculpture was the lost heart soldier, and was just a measly low tier inheritance treasure.

Brave had been hoping he would find a high tier inheritance treasure, or at least a mid teir inheritance treasure like the Whitestone infinity dagger. Still, every passive skill that he designed would provide the player with some advantage.

When he broke the doll, for twenty minutes its passive would activate causing his cultivators and miners to suddenly recover to their max health, and gain a power boost of twenty percent. However, since it was a one time item it was clearly a low tier inheritance treasure.

He had really been hoping to get lucky, and find one of the three high tier inheritance treasures that were located randomly around the world of the players. However, he really shouldn't be complaining about finding something that many players only found once in a blue moon!

Brave had never seen the statistics of how many games inheritance treasures appeared in. Even in pro games, the odds of finding an inheritance treasure per player was twenty five percent.

These were people who had played the game to the point of access. Some of them had even played for over one hundred years in hours! With their knowledge of the game, they were just barely able to unconsciously recognize certain patterns from the advanced algorithm Brave had created.

However, since the code had been strictly fortified by the gaming agency that purchased it from Brave's estate, no one in the game had been able to figure out how to identify the cues Brave intrinsically understood.

Putting the porcelain soldier into his pocket, he went back towards Takuya who had already finished his assignment. A stack of thirteen cultivators, and twenty miners had been placed in a massive grave.

Looking at the newly acquired sect, Brave sighed as he pondered if he should destroy it or give it to Doi Manami. If he spread himself to thin, to early, he would be at the whim of an excellent tactition.

Opening up his chat, he clicked on Doi Manami's face, and thought about what message to send her. Finally, he decided it would be better for her to run the sect. After all, he had only played the game for a few days, and she had played for at least a hundred years.

Sending her a message, he felt a twinge of worry in his gut.

"Manami, I need you to head to my location as quickly as possible. Would you mind if I took control of your bod?." Brave felt strange just forcing her to run to his location.

Since he had entered a subservient alliance with her, she was his to control in battle.

A second later, she replied "Be right there, master," causing Brave to blush.

"Alright, please take a wild lily tiger, and follow the route I'm going to send you. Also, please bring your cultivators and your left-over miners."

Brave turned off his chat, not letting her reply. She arrived roughly ten minutes later, with the wild lily tiger and all of her staff. She looked out in disbelief at the pristine sect in perfect condition.

Understanding what Brave wanted her to do immediately, she once again rushed up to him and thrusted him into her arms.

Brave laughed awkwardly as Ono Takuya glared at him in disbelief. This was clearly an emperor from another sect, and he hadn't been informed yet of their alliance.

Walking right up to Brave, he patted him on the shoulder interrupting the awkward hug that bound them together.

"You shouldn't trust this lady, Brave." Ono Takuya said, pulling him off her. "Don't you know that she is an emperor from another sect? Did she lie to you and promise you food?"

"Takuya," Brave responded, completely at a loss for words, "She came to our sect when you were here bursting through the rocks. I already made her swear a Dao oath to be loyal to us."

"Okay, well just make sure you don't leave her alone for too long. I can tell, just looking at her, that she is clearly a snake!" Ono Takuya slammed his stomach causing Manami to laugh at his judgmental stance.

The only way a person could break a Dao oath is if they had a passive ability known from an extremely rare inheritance treasure. However, judging by Manami's appearance, Brave laughed this off before turning to examine her countenance.

Part of him almost wanted to search her belongings to see if she possessed the inheritance treasure that would make this possible. Still, he stopped questioning his judgement and guided her inside of the sect.
