Lost Amongst The Stars - A Marvel Fanfic

So after dropping Loki, I made my way back to Earth. I had nothing much to do in this time but to wait for the events of Avengers to start. Though I may have altered them somehow with my changes made to Loki's fate.

So I was free so I decided to check up on Steve, I was sure that he was awake by now and was pretty much drilling himself to get used to this new era.

For those who are wondering, I last met Peggy in the 90's and since then I have had no contact with her. Though I know about which hospital she is in.

I saw Steve and after observing him for few hours I could see that he was trying to drown himself in different activities either boxing, running or exercising just to avoid the fact of the year it is and how many years he has lost. I thought of going and meeting him but let's just leave it for now. I will see him later during Invasion event.

I left him and went on to just roam .

{Time Skip of few months}

In a Shield Facility , Nick Fury arrives in a car and begins talking with Erik Selvig.

" So tell me when this started giving off these readings? " asked Fury

"Since last night things really escalated, it started giving more reading since last week but this from last night readings really spiked." said Erik.

Fury turned towards Maria Hill, his trusted confidant and said, " Get everyone to evacuate the area asap. "

Maria Hill nodded and left the site.

" So what do we know about this? " asked Fury to Selvig.

"I don't know, we can't do anything about it, we don't have anything like a switch off button. " said Selvig.

Suddenly the tesseract started giving out more readings than before and sparks started coming out of it.

"What is happening? Doctor, do something " said Fury.

" I can't do anything." replied Selvig looking shocked.

Suddenly flashes of light occured and a figure landed outside.

Fury looked at the figure who was clearing observing the surrounding and said, " Put the spear down Ma'am."

The Figure looked directly towards Fury and with a playfull merth in her eyes said, " It's funny that you think that you can command me to do anything ." and with a laughter raises the scepter and shot a blast towards Fury who flew in the air landed in the ground and was knocked out due to the impact.

Hawkeye seeing that the being turned hostile fired arrow at it but before it could reach he was already knocked out by the figure. Finally she turned over and looked at a scared looking Selvig and said " Come on, there are a lot of things I need to know from you. ". The figure levitates and leaves taking Selvig and Hawkeye with it. Leaving behind a knocked out Fury along with lots of Shield personnels.
