I was sitting in my cave when I heard the sound of a quinjet, which landed near the entrance and I opened the gate with open arms and expected Fury to be there but it turned out be Black Widow.

" Hello, Mr Vali, Director Fury will like to meet with you?" she said.

So Fury sent her, maybe thought that she could be seductive enough to make me come.

" And why should I? Why should I listen to anything he says? " I jumped on my bed and laid down in a comfortable position while saying so.

" Maybe this will draws your attention and make you more serious. " saying so she placed a hologram showing all that had happened with the Tesseract in the Shield facility and how it was stolen.

" I don't care about all this, if Fury wants to talk to me, he can come here."

"Director Fury is busy with other matters right now but I will see what I can do." saying so she left.

I was not amazed of the fact that Shield knew my hideout cause I had really taken no measures to hide it and only because there is no reason to hide it. Anyone who wants to attack me is welcome to try.

Well Fury was quick to respond, he was with me in my cave within 2 hours staring at me.

"Here have a drink don't need to look so brooding." I threw a can at him saying so.

He caught the can but didn't drink it, instead he said, " Remind me Vali, isn't Earth under your protection? Shouldn't you have come with agent Romanoff instead of throwing a tantrum and washing time by calling me here. "

" Oh no you got it wrong, Earth is under the protection of Asgard, not me so you could try calling them up and ask for help, Thor was in town a few months ago, why not try reaching him for help. " I said cheekily.

"Considering the fact that they are unreachable shouldn't you be the one responding?" said Fury still keeping up his poker face.

" I should and I am, don't worry if there is a problem I will intervene surely but you should realize yourc stupidity, experimenting on things you don't understand, Carol would be so proud. " I said.

This got some reaction from him

" And remind me Vali how she got her powers?.... From an explosion of an experimental engine. We need to improve our capability when people like you are roaming about. We got lucky with you and Carol but what happens on a bad day when either of you are not there and someone with the plan of world domination comes how will we handle that? We need to be prepared. " said Fury.

" You have this. " saying so I showed him the Avengers Initiative file.

" How did you get this? " Fury asked while snatching the files from me

" Remember this Fury I am always 2 steps ahead of you" cause I have knowledge of the future but you don't need to know about it haha ha.

" I am pretty sad that you didn't consider me, though you still took the suggestion I gave for the Name" I said.

" You said that you wouldn't join." said Fury finally opening the can and drinking the contents.

" It wouldn't have hurt you to ask. "

" Would you join the Avengers?" asked Fury finally defeated.

" Hell yeah, come on let's go we have a lot to talk about. By the way how did you lose your eye?" I asked Him.

" I trusted someone I shouldn't have." he said, clearly pissed off with the moment that it happened
