Love Grows Mad After Parting

It rang for a long time, so long that Su Yao was about to give up when the call finally got through.

“Speak.”

“Yunchen, I feel slightly uncomfortable in my stomach. Can you come over and accompany me?”

After a long silence, Huo Yunchen finally spoke, but just one word. “Okay.”

The phone beeped right after this.

Su Ruoxue’s hand paused. She changed the subject as if nothing had happened. “I want to go see my sister too. Yunchen-gege, can you take me with you?”

The smell of sterile water permeated the hospital wards.

With a click, the door of the room opened wide. Su Yao couldn’t wait to look up and saw it was Huo Yunchen, but before the joy in her heart could spread, she saw a familiar face in a white dress behind him.
