Love Is So Sweet

It was finally the day that Lisa would post her new work, which made Lisa a bit nervous. Usually, when she posts a new story she would be quite excited, but now she was simply anxious. Karla her usual support during this kind of thing was not available today as the writer assigned to her was about to debut their new work as well. On the other hand, Jennifer, Lisa's new friend was out having a job interview.

So the only option left for support was Jun. Still, after the whole incident with Edrea, Lisa was feeling a bit hesitant to call Jun. Even though Jun already told her that she dealt with Edrea, and it was alright now, Lisa still felt a bit uncomfortable about it. Also, she would be inviting a man into her apartment, which was a first for her. Though Jun has already been in her apartment, but that was without her conscious consent. Should they meet up outside instead? But then again it was already a habit for Lisa to post her new work in her apartment.

'What's the problem if I ask him to come to my apartment? It's just Jun... It's not like I'm inviting a serial killer... I can trust him... Right?... He did come to my apartment once and I was even out of it, and he did nothing. Also, I really do need someone with me right now...'

Lisa was feeling weird from the changes in her environment. A week ago, the only people that have entered her apartment were her grandparents and Karla. Now, not only does Jennifer come and go whenever she pleases, Jun, a man she just met this week has been in her apartment and even placed her in her bed.

Still, she does need someone to accompany her as she posts her new work. She was worried about the fans' reaction to her changing her genre, but she was also worried about inviting a man over her place.

Lisa bit her lip and dialed Jun's number. She decided to trust Jun, he has done a lot for her, and he was her friend, so they needed to at least have this level of trust between them. After the first ring, Lisa panicked and hanged up.

'What the hell am I doing?!' While Lisa was confused as to what to do next, Jun immediately texted her.

"Is everything alright? Is Edrea bothering you again?" Reading Jun's text and how fast he responded made Lisa feel a bit better about inviting Jun over. So she tried to text him back.

"I'm alright, I just hanged up by mistake. Actually I was going to invite you over, seeing as I'm about to post my new work and you being my editor and all that, I thought you should be here."

That's what Lisa wanted to message but instead, she panicked and messaged a different thing.

"Everything's alright." That was it, but Jun once again responded without delay.

"Really?"

"Yeah," Lisa tried to tell him again, about what she really wanted to say but just couldn't.

"So why'd you call?"

"I just made a mistake." Once Lisa texted Jun this, he could somehow figure out what was happening.

"Hey, Lisa today's the day you post your new work right?"

"Yes."

"Can I come over and see you post it. Seeing as I am your editor I think I should be there. Is that alright with you?" When Lisa saw Jun was inviting himself over she immediately jumped on the chance.

"Sure."

"Alright be there in fifteen minutes." Reading Jun's last message made Lisa feel relieved.

After telling Lisa that he would be coming over, Jun snickered. While he was leaving his penthouse he couldn't help but think. 'Is it me or am I getting better? It's getting a bit easier to read her now.'

Jun happily called a cab to get to Lisa's place.
