Love Is So Sweet

Tang Wu, looked at his son and saw how serious he was. Usually, after confronting his son like this, he would simply grumble a bit and then comply with his command. Yet now he really was trying to not go against him.

"How am I suppose to believe what you're telling me?" Tang Wu gazed at his son, the same way he looks at his competitors, trying to asses what the other party was thinking. This actually made Jun a bit uncomfortable but he stood his ground.

"Why would I lie?"

"All you do is lie to me... Fine, I'm willing for the moment to believe you in this ridiculous claim of yours that you have fallen in love. But I want to see proof that you and that girl you are supposedly in love with, are really dating."

"Hmph, you're telling me to show you proof, when you're obviously going to send someone to spy on us."

"Then let's compromise, I won't send someone to spy on you if you tell me the name of the girl."

"How the hell is that a compromise?! Why do you even want to know the name of the girl? Also, if I'm going to send you proof, that would mean I'm going to send you a picture of her anyway. I'm sure with your capabilities, it's easy to find out the whole background of the person with a picture alone. Also, if you really want to know who she is, why don't you just ask Edrea, it seems like she knows a bit about the person I like."

"As your father, I simply wanted to learn the name of my son's girlfriend from his own mouth. Also, I just want to do a little bit of a background check on the girl, to see if she truly is compatible to be your girlfriend."

"Heh, acting like my father now... That ship has sailed long ago... Also, who are you to tell me who I am compatible with? I will decide that for myself."

"I'm your father, that's more than enough reason for me to have a say on who is right for you or not! Don't push me too far boy, everything you own is mine! Everything about you is mine!" Tang Wu, finally couldn't stand his son talking so disrespectfully to him which made him shout.

Seeing his father shouting at him, made Jun smile a bit. It was always nice to see his father act like this.

"You're my father in name only. You have never shown any interest in me aside from the times you can use me. Also for your information, this penthouse that I'm living in is paid by my mother. Everything here are gifts or things I bought with my own money. There's nothing here that came from you."

Hearing Jun's response to his outburst, made Tang Wu cool down. He fixed his suit before he once again spoke.

"Alright, it doesn't seem like we're going anywhere in this conversation. So, I'm going to make a deal with you. If you really like this girl and the two of you share a mutual love, I promise I won't bother you about it. To make sure you aren't tricking me, I will assign someone to check on the authenticity of your relationship. He'll be following you for the next two months. You can treat him as a bodyguard as well. In exchange for you allowing this, I will help you with your Edrea problem. I will make sure that she won't bother you for the next two months. If, and only if you and the girl you like are proven to really be in love with each other, I will personally cancel your engagement with Edrea. Not only that, I will no longer bother you about your love life. So what do you say, do you agree to my conditions?"

Jun looked at his father a bit confused. Though there were some things that he didn't like in that agreement, it still mostly favored him. This was unlike his father's usual style, which prioritizes his own benefits over others. It was likely that there was something that Jun was not understanding in that deal, but Jun couldn't disagree with this offer. If Jun pushed his father a bit more, Tang Wu might actually do something more forceful.

Jun really didn't want to agree to anything his father said, he also didn't like to involve Lisa in his problems, but things have progressed too far for him to be able to stop it. Even if he doesn't comply with this deal, his father would probably do something that would inconvenience Lisa even more.

"Fine, I agree to your terms." Jun extended his hand, in response Tang Wu clasped Jun's hand for a handshake.

"Then the deal has been made." The father and son shook hands while planning what to do next.
