Love Is So Sweet

Chapter 65 - Lisa moving onward

Reading the recent post of one of her fans, Lisa felt like that was it. This was the post she was waiting for. It was like the fog in her mind cleared a bit. With this maybe she could finally move forward a bit. Though the last line the fan wrote, made her a bit confused.

'I already know the answer, and I cannot see the answer that's already there...' Lisa felt a bit weird reading that again and again. Did she really have the answer, already? Lisa shook her head and no longer thought about it since it just made her head hurt.

Lisa then typed on her laptop thanking everyone for their suggestions. After she was done with that she took out her phone and started to think about something. She then stood up and headed to the room next door.

...

Reginald read the newly posted message and smiled. It went the way he wanted it to, but it doesn't seem like she understood his hidden message.

'Anyway, it's all up to them now. As long as they continue for a few more weeks, even Tang Wu would approve of them. That man might be a lot of things, but a liar he is not.'

...

Lisa knocked on the door next door, and Jennifer quickly got out looked at her in surprise, and hugged her. It was so sudden that Lisa was frightened for a bit, but then she allowed Jeniffer to continue to hug her. This was her first true friend in a long time, and Lisa understood that she made her worry.

"Sorry..." Lisa apologized as Jennifer finally let go of her.

"There's nothing to apologize for. It's good that you're alright now."

...

After clearing up the air outside, Jennifer invited Lisa inside her apartment. Upon entering the apartment, the first thing Lisa noticed was that Jennifer's apartment was an utter mess. She had some u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r on the sofa, her sportswear were scattered throughout the floor. Her blouses and jeans were hanging onto various stuff.

Jennifer didn't even look remotely embarrassed by how messy her apartment was, as she casually took some of her clothes that were on the sofa and placed them in another area. Lisa was reluctant to sit down, but she felt that it was impolite to not do so.

When they both sat down, Jennifer wanted to ask the question that has been bugging her for the past few days. As she was about to ask, she couldn't say it. Jennifer didn't expect that asking such a simple question, was much harder than she thought it would be. Seeing her outgoing friend hesitate, made Lisa smile.

"About what happened three days ago. Jun didn't do anything wrong, I was just surprised by something he said. But now I think I can face him properly."

"Are you sure?..." Jennifer has only known Lisa for a few months, but she felt rather close to the introverted writer. Lisa might've been older, but to Jennifer, Lisa was more than a friend she was like her younger sister.

"It's alright, I know what to do."

"Do you want me to come with you?" Jeniffer still looked a bit worried, but Lisa shook her head and smiled gently at her worried friend.

"You don't need to come... This is something I need to do by myself. I just came by to tell you all this, before I head out to meet him." Lisa stood up and was about to leave, but then she looked back at Jennifer.

"... Thanks for everything, I'm glad that I had the courage to follow you that day." Hearing what Lisa said almost made Jennifer tear up a bit. But instead, she smiled as she answered.

"I'm also glad that I talked to you on that day."
