Love Is So Sweet

Chapter 8 - Coffee Shop

When Jun heard what Lisa said he got even more confused. What happened to the girl that could barely talk to him.

"So Ms. Lisa why do you want me to perform lovey-dovey acts with you?" Jun even with this weird request presented to him remained calm as he talked.

"It doesn't really have to be me, you can do it with anyone. I just want to watch." If it wasn't obvious before, not it was obvious that there was some sort of misunderstanding between them.

"Um, why do you want me to do this?"

"It's for my book, of course," Lisa answered with a tone that was saying, why are you asking such an obvious question.

"I see..." Jun felt relieved when he heard this answer but for some reason, Jun also felt a bit disappointed by the answer.

"So, will you help me or not?"

"Of course, I'll help you. Where should we meet?"

"Let's meet up in the coffee shop near the hospital where we met."

"Sure, what time should I be there?"

"Be there at eleven."

"Alright, see you at eleven then."

"See you." After saying that Lisa finally ended the call. Once the call was done Jun sighed.

'She's more exhausting to talk to than I imagined. She's also quite different from my initial assessment of her.' As Jun was thinking about Lisa, he remembered what Karla said, She might have a lot of hidden problems, but when it comes to writing she'll brave through anything.

'Hmmm, I guess that does make her a little bit more interesting.' Jun wryly smiled as he started getting ready for his meeting with Lisa.

...

A few minutes after the call with Jun, Lisa was squirming in embarrassment again. After she finally able to calm down she finally understood how her conversation with Jun sounded like. She actually invited a man to spend time with her. More than that she was surprised by how calm she was in front of Jun. Usually, she would be a bit more on guard against this unknown person, but for some reason, her normal paranoia and anxiety weren't kicking in. This might be because of Karla's reassurance. Now that she thought about it the only other man that spent time with her was...

When a certain memory surfaced in Lisa's mind she pushed it aside and tried her hardest to distract herself.

'That's right I'm doing this for research purposes, to learn about lovey-dovey moments. He does look a bit cool and stylish, so he might've been popular. That means he can provide me with better data to understand lovey-dovey scenes. Okay, I better prepare my lunch now.'

Lisa then started to cook her packed lunch for later.

...

Thirty minutes before the appointed time, Jun was already waiting at the coffee shop. Even though Lisa never mentioned the name of the coffee shop it was quite easy to figure out where it was since there was only one coffee shop near the hospital where they met.

Jun was wearing a blue blazer over a fitted grey shirt that emphasized his lean body. He was also wearing fit jeans and brown loafers. As for accessories he was wearing a dog tag as a necklace and watch on his left arm.

While waiting for Lisa, Jun ordered some coffee and positioned himself near the window of the shop. Due to his rather striking appearance, some women inside the coffee shop were actually staring at him. Jun noticing them showed a gentle smile, which made the women giggle. One particularly brave woman approached Jun.

"Um, excuse me, can I sit here with you?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I'm actually waiting for someone." Hearing Jun's reply the lady left with a look of disappointment. After this one attempt, no one else approached Jun. Though he wasn't at the level of a model, Jun's looks were still a bit above average, so to Jun this wasn't really anything new, since every now and then some lady would approach him and tries striking up a conversation. Though it doesn't happen that often, it did happen enough times for Jun not be surprised with such an approach.

Sometimes Jun would keep the lady in question company, but today he was about to meet someone so he had no time for that. After a few more minutes of waiting, exactly ten minutes before eleven Lisa showed up.

Lisa was wearing a white sleeveless blouse, a black bow back jumper skirt, and black dress boots while carrying a brown handbag. Though she wasn't wearing make-up Lisa's overall look was s.e.xy cute. Even though Lisa wasn't as beautiful as the lady that asked to join Jun for a cup of coffee, she still felt even more captivating than the lady.

Jun was once again surprised by Lisa, he never expected that the girl who was wearing unfashionable clothes yesterday could wear something like this today. When she saw Jun Lisa shyly approached him.

"Have you been waiting long?"

"No, actually I just got here." When Lisa heard Jun's answer she noticed that Jun's cup of coffee was nearly finished, and she also saw an empty plate that had some crumbs on it. It was obvious to her that Jun has been here for some time now. Then why did he lie? Lisa was confused so she couldn't help herself but ask.

"Why did you lie? You have obviously been here for some time now." Jun was no longer surprised by this question of Lisa's as he looked at her innocent eyes.

"Well, truth be told I simply said it out of habit. Usually, a girl would feel a bit embarrassed for being waited upon." Jun answered with his signature smile on his face.

"I see... So you're telling me you've done this a lot of times that it became second nature for you to answer like that. I guess I really did pick the right person to help me with my problem." Lisa started to write something in her notebook

Hearing what Lisa said, Jun couldn't help but look at her with a dumbfounded expression and after a second he chuckled. 'This girl really is a bit weird, but she's also quite interesting.'

"So Ms. Lisa how should I help you?"

"First off, Tell me everything you know about being lovey-dovey."
