Love Will Lead You Back

After their sweet and full of love honeymoon, they went to Gu Residence to collect Sofia from and they had dinner with their parents before going home. Though they were so tired from their journey, having a chat with their parents is a must for Ji An.

Everything was back to normal, Sofia goes to school and Cheng Ze sends her to school also taking Ji An to work before he goes to his office. After his work, he would go to Ji An, pick her up and then they will collect Sofia from Mother and Father Gu because they are the ones who collect Sofia after school. Like that, everything was sorted and everyone was happy.

With Ji An's pregnancy, she took a break from work and stayed at home. Cheng Ze was always there whenever Ji An calls for him and mother Gu always check on her and was more excited than Ji An to see her grandchild.

5 months later, Ji An gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Everyone in their family was ecstatic about the good news. Of course, Cheng Ze was well happy having a daughter and now a son. He felt truly complete and happy. This is the life he imagined, a life with Ji An by his side together with their children. He cannot ask for more.

Eric found out about the news and he hated it but there was nothing he can do about it, he left Beijing and went back to London. After all, he misses his family and he wanted to visit his sister. Losing Ji An in such way hit him really hard and seeing her with her new kid from that man makes his blood boil and enraged. 

At last, Sofia's last name was finally changed to Gu and they named their son Zean to match Sofia's western name but obviously, Zean's name is the combination of Cheng Ze and Ji An's name. Now, they are a happy family of four and Eric was forgotten and no longer in the picture. 

Ji An continued to work in her clinic and Cheng Ze successfully expanded his business to Europe. Both of them had become very successful. Sofia learned the language with the help of her school and from Mother Gu, and well, baby Zean is as handsome as his dad and as sweet as his mum. Everybody adored him and loved him.

As Ji An look back from everything that happened up to now, she smiled gently as she rested her hands in the balcony railings, and fell the night breeze on her face as she closed her eyes, all the bad memories had been put aside with such blessings in her life. Forgiving the man she loves for everything he did was the right decision she made and leaving Eric for good made her feel at ease. 

"Hey, what are you doing here on your own?" Cheng Ze approach Ji An in the balcony and hugged her from behind. The wind was blowing gently on her face and she inhaled deeply before she answered Cheng Ze. "I love you Cheng Ze. Thank you for making me one of the happiest woman in the world. For making my life colourful." She turned around and kissed his lips, "Thank you for giving me two beautiful children. For loving me when I'm being difficult and for not letting go of your love for me." Cheng Ze hugged her tightly and smelled her scent. "Shh... I love you Gu Ji An and I'm sorry for all the bad things I've done but I will do them again if that's what it takes to have you in my arms." He cupped her face and kissed her lovingly.

Ji An smiled after she released herself from his lips, "Mr Gu! Behave yourself! Not today and for the rest of the week" She walked away and went straight to bed. Cheng Ze chuckled and smiled, "She really knows how to play me and there's nothing I can do about it." 

Cheng Ze and Ji An loved each other very much every single day and they never let any misunderstandings go overnight without talking and sorting it out. They were the ideal couple and their friends and colleagues were jealous of them. They were truly inseparable. Though their past was dark, their future seems bright for them. 

Ji An had her dad's ashes move to Beijing and they held a memorial ceremony for him in which Mother and Father Gu attended and Cheng Ze with her. "I hope Mike will soon visit us and see his niece and nephew." She uttered. Mother Gu held her hand with teary eyes, "I hope so too, Ji An." And hugged Ji An patting her back gently. 

Months went by, Cheng Ze planned a surprise for Ji An for their 1st wedding anniversary. He took her out on a date and bought her the red dress she adored without her knowing it and told her to make sure that she clear her schedule on the week of their anniversary.

the story is short but memorable. the characters have its own story to tell..the storyline doesn't confuse me while reading it..from start to finish this story makes me feel the emotion of each character..truly there is forever in love..good job to the writer of this novel..

I LOVED IT!!!! I swear the only thing that made me want to finish this, was the consistency of the way it made me feel. The whole book made my stomach churn in ways that even made me jealous, it made me want a complicated love-life, you know, one that I can work so hard for, so I can spend each and every single second to make everything worth what it is.

It's a really adorable story... The whole twists just keep you hanging... I really loved the Gu parents...
