Love Will Lead You Back

"Tell me more Li Wei, I want to hear the whole story." she smiled at him intriguingly. "Do you want some drinks or something to eat? Relax okay. You are not in trouble I can assure you that." she stood up and patted his shoulder. "Go on spill it!"

Li Wei gulped down his saliva. 'How did she found out?' he has to tell her everything now. They've been caught. "Well, Boss saw her in her friend's hen party in the hotel where we were staying. He ordered me to take her— I mean your daughter to his room."

"And how did you manage to do that Li Wei? What did you do to my daughter?" she was still smiling at him while hearing his confession.

"Madam, how did you know I managed to take her to his room?" he was scared but curiously asked.

"If you didn't, will you be here today?" she walked near the floor to ceiling window and looked out. "Continue."

"I'm sorry madam, I drugged your daughter so I can take her to my boss. There was no other way." he now hung his head down feeling all guilty.

Meiling laughed, "Don't tell me you gave my daughter a love drug!"

"I'm sorry Madam. I'll take all the punishments. I was wrong for doing that, but Madam that was the only way for me at that time." he pleaded.

"So, was it a love drug you've given her? How old was she when you two did this to her?" she still doesn't seemed to be angry which was unusual especially for a mother who had her daughter taken advantage of.

'Madam Gu looked scary like this. I don't know what's going on in her head.' "Y-y-ye-ss Madam, I mixed it in the alcoholic drink I gave her. She didn't want to drink it or accept it but her friends encouraged her. After that, I walked with her and when she got in the lift I took her directly to the boss's room. I don't know what happened inside. She's about 18 or 19." The sweat on his forehead was too much.

"I didn't know Cheng Ze have that much guts to actually touch my daughter. Hmm... and was there another time?"

Li Wei looked at her. 'How did she know?' He was comprehending whether to tell her or not, but in the end, he did, "Yes, Madam, on her wedding night."

"What? On her wedding night? How did you managed to take her away from her husband?" She got more interested to know more. 'Is my daughter even thinking? How can she be so gullible?'

"Well, I had to hire actors to lure her out. That night he asked me for 2 tablets. So I can only assumed they both took the love drug. Or else he would have been dead if he let her have both." the thought of it made him laugh.

"You think it's funny, Li Wei? Should I feed you love drug and take you to Cheng Ze?" she seemed a little bit angry when she delivered those words.

Li Wei's face turned red. He suddenly felt embarrassed.

She saw Cheng Ze's car entering the garage. "You can go now. Don't mention anything to Cheng Ze. Tell him I ask you to look for a position in the company for Ji An."

Li Wei left, he wiped his sweat on his face. 'Did I sold him out? Well, I just followed his orders. Madam Gu is scary like that. No wonder her daughter is like that too.' He tried to avoid meeting Cheng Ze when he heard his voice, so he went to the kitchen pretending he wanted water.

He waited until Ji An and Cheng Ze finished talking. Once Cheng Ze was out of sight, he left the residence quickly.

"Ji An, I'll go see mother first. I'll come and meet you after. I want to take you somewhere." A sweet smile painted his face.

"Can I go with you too, daddy?" Little Sofia asked.

Cheng Ze knelt down on one knee and he talked to Sofia, "Spend some time with nana while we're gone. It's not gonna be long. We'll be back before you know it." He touched her cute little nose and lifted her up and carried her. "Did you know my nose and yours are the same?" he held Ji Ans hand once again.

Madam Gu watched them as she smiled at the scene of Cheng Ze, Ji An and their daughter, "My children, why are you making it hard for yourselves?"

Cheng Ze put Sofia down and let Ji An's hand go. "I'll be back. I'll find you okay?"

She nodded and smiled. Sofia ran to her room to play with her toys.

Ji An also left and went to her room to relax for a little bit. She lied down and played with her phone. She saw Eric's missed calls but she ignored them and didn't call him back. She doesn't really know what to tell him, eventually, she fell asleep.

Cheng Ze went to the study room to talk to his stepmother. He entered the room and saw Madam Gu standing near the bookshelf. She appeared to be reading something.
