Love Will Lead You Back

Sofia fell asleep almost instantly while Ji An can't sleep at all. She's not sure what Cheng Ze was doing or what he is up to but she knows that she should sleep before he comes up and goes to bed.

Li Wei arrived and delivered a set of pyjamas, two boxer shorts, a pair of socks and a set of fresh clothes for tomorrow. He then bid his goodbye after handling it to his boss, he was just happy for his Cheng Ze to finally spend some time with the woman he truly loves without the use of any kinds of manipulation.

Cheng Ze went upstairs to Ji An's bedroom and saw that both of them were already asleep, so he went to the bathroom to have a shower.

Ji An was just pretending that she was asleep. How can she sleep in a situation like this anyway? Who knows what tricks is he going to play? She can hear the water as it fell on the bathroom floor. While she had her eyes shut, for some reason, she started to imagine Cheng Ze having a shower and she entered the bathroom. His body was just right. He has a four pack abs and his c.h.e.s.t looks good and sturdy, it fits perfectly, 'I want to touch and feel his c.h.e.s.t. And his arms,' she bit her lower lip, at that moment, a drop of water fell on her face near her lips.

Cheng Ze was standing next to her side and staring at her. His hair was wet and dripping. "What are you dreaming about? Are you even asleep?" he asked.

It made Ji An open her eyes and sat up, "Your hair is wet, it's dripping." Hugging her pillow, "Don't stare at me like that, it's creepy." she quickly exclaimed.

Cheng Ze, however, doesn't want to drop his question, "Were you thinking about me? Do you perhaps want to have a shower with me?" Not stopping there, he teased her more, "Just admit it, I won't refuse you anyway."

Ji An felt embarrassed but she tried to hide it by firing back at him, "I'm actually asleep and dreaming about food." 'Why am I even explaining to him?' "Go to sleep. I have to prepare for tomorrow's house warming party."

He just smiled and laughed at her, "Food huh' it must be yummy!" he put on his pyjama right in the line of sight of Ji An. "You were biting your lip then."

Ji An shut her eyes tightly and not speak. She just covered her head with the blanket. After about 2 minutes she felt the bed move a little, thinking that he must have lied down. she was a little at ease. Then there's a big movement, like someone jumped on the bed.

She removed the blanket covering her face, that's when Cheng Ze hugged her waist and smiled at her so tenderly. "Goodnight my wife." He gave her a kiss on her lips, just a simple goodnight kiss.

"Move! Move to the other side. What are you doing? You're going to wake Sofia up. Put her back in the middle and sleep on the other side." She whispered and tapped his c.h.e.s.t to push him away from her.

Cheng Ze just shut his eyes and pretended to be asleep but he murmured as he sighed deeply, "At this rate, you will wake her up. Go to sleep Li Ji An."

Ji An was speechless. How and when did he become like this? What happened to him? What did they actually do when he went out with Sofia?

She couldn't sleep at all. Sofia hugged Cheng Ze and he hugged Sofia back. Ji An stood up and looked at the two and grabbed her phone, she then snapped a photo of them. Sofia looked so comfortable in his arms. 'It would have been nice if you were her father.' It came across her thought as she watched them like that.

Ji An went to the kitchen to get a drink as she was struggling to go back to sleep. She drank milk to help her relax and sleep. Placing the glass to the sink, she thought of Cheng Ze and as she turned around, Cheng Ze was right in front of her. "You can't sleep? Is it because of my presence?" He looked at her straight in her eyes.

Ji An got captivated by his eyes. She felt like his eyes were talking to her, begging for her love. Not answering his question, she stared in his eyes too. It's dead quiet. The intense eye to eye contact was drawing them to each other until there's only little gap between them.

Ji An shut her eyes waiting for his kiss. It was just the right moment to seal a kiss. However, he didn't kiss her, instead, he left her in the kitchen. She felt disappointed and drank a glass of cold water to cool her down not sure if she was having l.u.s.ty thoughts towards him at that moment. Going back to her room, she found Sofia in the middle of the bed while Cheng Ze slept on the left side. So she lied down back on her spot again. This time she managed to sleep.

When she woke up the next day, Sofia and Cheng Ze were no longer in the bed. She looked at the clock and it's 10:41, "How come they didn't wake me up?" she stood up and got herself ready to have a shower first then picked a floral dress for her to wear today.

She went downstairs to see what they are doing but as she was going down, she saw Sofia and Cheng Ze playing in the living room. Sofia was so happy giggling, screaming and laughing. Cheng Ze seemed to be chasing her and tickling her. 'What a sight to see. My daughter is so happy. I have never seen her this happy.' she thought. She sighed and continued to go down to see them.
