Love Will Lead You Back

Ji An bit her lip, 'Damn! How can this be so twisted? What will my mother think of this if she finds out!?' "Please don't be like this... My mother, she will get angry at us if she finds out about this."

His eyes seemed like they're shining, "Your mother?" he laughed. "Don't worry about her, she agreed that I should move in!"

"What?" She knitted her brows creating a creased on her forehead, "I don't believe you! I don't believe this!"  So she took her phone and called her mother to talk to her mother and find out the truth.

It rang a few times before it got answered, "Mother, what is this? You ask Cheng Ze to move in with me? Do you want me to marry him next?" she was so furious and just blurted out what she has in mind.

"If you want to, go ahead." Madam Gu said as if she doesn't care what she does with him. Actually, she wasn't against the idea and seems happy about it too.

"Mother! I'm a woman, he is a man! Why did you allow him first without even telling me? Besides, this is my house." Her shock was evident in her face, she can't believe that her mother really said that to her.

"I didn't tell him to move in, I told him to do whatever he likes with you. That is good, isn't it? A mother, a father and a daughter. A complete family!" Meiling's voice was unusually happy.

"Mother! Are you really my mother? Are you mocking me for not having a father for my daughter?" Meiling surely hit her nerves and she went furious completely forgetting that Cheng Ze was there with her.

Cheng Ze was just smiling as he watched her getting so agitated with her own mother. 'She's so cute when she's angry like this.' he thought.

"Can I speak to my son? If it's okay with you?" Madam Gu asked Ji An politely.

Ji An let out a laughed, "Hah! Your son? Am I your daughter or he is your son? You should make your mind up, you cannot have both!"

"Just give the damn phone to him. It's important." The tone in her voice changed, a sign that it was something really important.

Ji An gave him the phone, "She wants to speak with you!" she handed him the phone and stared Cheng Ze intensely.

"Yes mother?" he replied politely.

"Okay. I'll see you at home then." He added.

Madam Gu hung up the phone after she told Cheng Ze to come over to their house for a little chat.

Instead of him ending the call and give her phone back to her, he continued to talk, "Alone? Marriage? My fiance?" he looked at Ji An's reaction, "Is she there? Ok, I'll head there now. Bye!"

Her curiosity piked up, or maybe it was her jealousy, "What does she want?" she asked Cheng Ze quickly and eagerly.

"Oh, my fiance is there, discussing our marriage. I should go. See you later okay!"

"Wait!" she held his wrist and stopped him, then she realised what she has done but it was too late. She swallowed her saliva upon realising it.

"You don't want me to go?" Cheng Ze's eyes were begging her to say yes.

"Uhmm... Can I go?" Her voice was very meek and she seemed shy.

That was unexpected, but it means she doesn't want him to go alone, right? 'Is she being jealous right now? My little mischief is paying off?' He thought.

"Do you want me to stay here?" he said in a very gentle voice as he c.a.r.e.s.sed her face gently. "Just tell me. I'll stay here with you if you want me to."

"Cheng Ze... I... I" her eyes were begging him not to go but she just won't say it.

"Tell me..." His voice almost came out like a whisper, sounding so s.e.xy as if he was seducing her.

With her eyes fixed on his as if she was bewitched by those eyes, "I want... you to..."

Cheng Ze's phone suddenly rang ruining the moment they had, it was Li Wei, "I have to answer this, hold on." he answered Li Wei's call immediately, "Li Wei?" He paused, "What?! When did it happen?" He nodded as if Li Wei can see him, "Okay, I'll be there. Don't let him cause more trouble."

"Ji An I'm going to the office first, I'll be back for dinner. I'll make it quick." he kissed Ji An on her forehead, "Don't miss me too much my dear wife," he smiled at her, "I'll be back before you know it." he then left without waiting for her reply.

Ji An was left standing there. Now she's alone again and she didn't get to tell him what's in her mind. She now have a lot of time to ponder about what just happened.

She sat on the edge of her bed and smiled remembering what happened since that morning. Cheng Ze made her feel alive again. He made her feel all the emotions she didn't felt with Eric, he made her feel young.

Even though Ji An doesn't admit it, she was obviously in love with Cheng Ze. Though Cheng Ze openly admitted his feelings towards her and his feelings about Sofia, he is still engaged to another woman. She can't just barge in in their relationship and she doesn't want to be called a wrecker or a third party.

Maybe if a miracle happens and they will not continue with their marriage then maybe she will have a chance to be with him. She will take that chance even if her mother will go against it. 'Wait, she just told Cheng Ze to do whatever he wants with me? What's that supposed to mean?' "Did she really disowned me, when I told her before?" She was mortified. "I'm still calling her mother and she accepted me and she even took my daughter."

Suddenly she realised something. She called her mother again. However, her mother was not answering her phone. She tried calling her five times and there was no answer every time.

Meanwhile, at the office, Cheng Ze went straight to the conference room, Li Wei entered the room with him and he saw Eric sitting on his seat, he was alone. "Li Wei leave us. Don't let anyone near the door."
