Loving Him

MARINA'S POV

I had just finished eating lunch and washing dishes when Adam's parents came to mind. I hurriedly clean the table and wash my hands before walking upstairs to choose a dress or casual to wear. I'm a bit nervous meeting them and I want myself to look presentable in their eyes.

I run my hands in my closet I don't know what to wear when Adam introduces me to his parents. I was nervous as to whether they didn't like me and what if they wanted a different woman for Adam. I run my hands in my messy hair and dump my body in the bed.

I stopped thinking I remembered someone close to me. I immediately took my cellphone out of the bag.

'Aunt Emily, how are you? I'm sorry if I just texted you when things were a bit confusing but don't worry because everything has been resolved, "I tap the send bar and wait for her reply.

I silently prayed she will reply and not mad at me and a minute passed Aunt Emily replied.

'Well, child, I'm fine here. Don't worry about me, I've decided to go home to my family, but if you need me just call me and I'll be right there. I love you so much and please always be careful, 'she replied oh how I miss her so much I was crying while reading her message.

I lay my phone at the table and the family of Adam again back at my mind.

"I wish they would like me," I whispered in the air before closing my eyes and fall asleep

KEIRO'S POV

I parked my car to the nearest resto of a friend of mine. I roamed my eyes hoping his presence is here but his no of sight.

I walk to the counter and I'm not surprised anymore that they already know me.

"Hello Sir what do you want to order?" the pretty lady asked.

"As usual babe," I winked at her and I see her quickly blushed.

"Right away Sir, please sit down and I'll call you when your order is ready", she said in a flirty voice I was about to say something at her when my phone vibrated and I curse under my breath for the wrong timing. It was Marco and now what he wants? I'm busily flirting here.

"Hey I want you to order some carbonara thanks, bro," he said in the text and I quickly reply.

"Okay but next time I hope you'll be on the right time to text bro, I'm quite busy with a pretty chick here," I replied and turn my head to the lady who is now frowning.

"Babe I'll order carbonara," I said huskily and her eyes sparkled.

"Chicken, beer and carbonara is that's all Sir?" she purred and I chuckled.

"Yeah babe", I winked at her for the last time and turn my heels to sit on the available table. I was turned on by her but when she purred words on me I smell somethings on her and that turned off me.

As I was waiting for my order my eyes caught something it was a lady who is wearing a baggy shirt and ragged jeans and a cap on her head. She was heading to the counter and says something to the woman who I talk a while ago. The women I talk a while ago look pissed at her while she was just smirking at her.

She turned her heels and our eyes meet, there was a slow-motion like the world stopped spinning and her eyes were like electricity I can't take my eyes off her when she walks to my direction I snap out of my thoughts.

"Hey! What are you looking at!?" she shouted catching the attention of others.

I was surprised and at the same time shock at how she talked to me. Doesn't she know me?

"Hey! Are you deaf or dumb?" she shouted and I just ignored her.

"Would you keep your mouth shut you're being scandalous," I said and she cursed under her breath.

"You're rude!"

"Hey, what are you supposed to do about it? Nothing's so special about you even your body," I spat and her mouth hangs open.

"Sir your orders are ready," the young man said and I nod at him.

"So if you may excuse me I'll take my orders, bunny," I said smirking at her, I got her a nickname.

"What did you just call me?" she asked and I grinned.

"Ohhhh quite interested? Okay, I'll say it I call you bunny because you look like one," I chuckled and left her standing there.

ADAM'S POV

I know that this is the first place that he will be going at and I don't know what the reason is that's what I want to find out.

I found him in the living room, sitting comfortably on the couch while sipping his coffee.

"Hey man what took you so long?" he asked and I slump at the couch next to him, he smacks at me for I step into his feet.

"How are you? What makes you think to come back here after how many years?", I asked flooding him questions.

"Did you not miss me Dam-Dam?" he asked and this time I smack him and he just laughs.

"What's wrong Dam-Dam?" he asked mockingly.

"What a stupid nickname," I said and he just laughs at me.

"What do you want me to call you then? Ad-Ad?" he burst out laughing and I can't help myself to smile and joined him. I miss this.

"Enough making fun of me," I said crossing my arms as I glared at him jokingly instead of stopping he copied my position.

I crossed my legs and he did so I raised my hand and he did it too. I pouted my lips and he did it too and suddenly we burst into laugh holding our stomach from laughing.

"H-how I miss this," he sighed.

"Yeah me too, me too Marco," I said and together we slump on the couch and stared at the ceiling

"Welcome back step-brother," I said as I smack a punch at his right shoulder causes him to tease me again.
