Lucid Dream

I catch my breath on the side of the road. Making sure nobody still followed me. I started to walk still trying to catch my breath. I saw a Café ahead so I walk faster so I can get a refresher. I was about to cross the road till there was a scream "STOP!!" I look up seeing a boy with a black coat and beanie running towards me. I was confused, I turn my head seeing a group of horses running toward me. I felt my eyes widen from seeing a group of horses head towards me in a fast speed. I tried to move but I couldn't I just stood there. Then.. I felt a sudden urge to turn my head I look right seeing the boy but in different clothing running towards me with his hands out. 'Huh? Why was there a man running towards me?' "ARGGHHH! " 'Was he a pirate? He yelled argh.. Wait.. I'm GOING TO GET RUN OVER BY A BUNCH OF HORSES!' Before I could even react the man from earlier pushed me onto the side. I closed my eyes that I might die. For some reason once the man pushed me I heard a horn.. Not like the instrument but a truck horn.. I open my eyes seeing the boy from before shutting his eyes shut. It was awkward till he opened his eyes. We made eye contact which made me feel like the world was in slow motion.. I can hear my heart beating loud and clear.. What was this feeling? I never had this feeling.. I hadn't experienced this kind of emotion. Was this love or was something going on with me? Suddenly the world continued its normal speed which made everything go back the way it is. I cleared my throat "Ahem.. U-uhm.. Can you get off of me?" he blinked and realized what he was doing "Oh! Sorry..". He got up helping me up. "Thanks by the way.." I looked around seeing the same place I was when I was about to cross the road. 'Wait.. Wasn't I in the other world?' He looked at me in concern "Ma'am are you okay? You seem zoned out. Do you like me to take you to the hospital? It's nearby just a couple of bloc-" "N-no! I'm fine just confused.." I looked down trying to avoid making eye contact

"Th-thanks again for saving me.. I don't know what would have happened to me if you didn't save me."

"O-oh.." He cleared his throat "It's fine."

There was an awkward silence between us until I saw someone in the corner of my eye..

Seunghoon.

I turn my head the other way, grabbing the boy's wrist and I run towards the alleyway. I go behind the wall hoping Julian didn't see me.

"H-Hey! What are you doin-" I cover his mouth and whisper in his ear "Look if you don't want to get in the mess I am in than don't talk." I looked behind the wall seeing if Seunghoon was still there. 'Good he left'. I sigh in relief. Letting the boy's wrist go I walk out towards the cafe. "H-Hey! You can't just leave me here without explaining!" I would groan "Ugh.. Why do you want to know?" "Well umm.. Just because, I guess." I would sigh at his response "Look dude.. I don't know you well, and I'm not sure if you'll believe me" I'd open the door to the cafe going towards the barista. "Try me. If I don't believe you.. I'll pay for your drink!" I look at him. "Are you serious. You know I also have money." I would order an espresso shot for me to stay awake for my journey back home. "Okay since you won't tell me.. Let's make a deal." He would pull out a quarter from his pocket "If it lands on heads you will tell me about your situation and if it lands on tales I will stop asking you." I would l grab my drink that was settled on the counter. I would look at him. 'Should I do it? It won't hurt plus there is a 50-50 chance of him getting tales!' "Fine. It's a deal." He would have a bright smile. He toss the coin in the air and catch the coin and placing the coin on the back of his hand.

Heads.

I would groan. 'Why did I do it?' "Fine you hopeless child! I will tell you." He would smirk and glide towards an empty table and gesture his hands for me to take a seat. I pull out a chair and sit down. He take a seat and look at me. By looking at his eyes he was excited and begging for the story. He looked like he was a dog begging for a treat from his owner. I would sigh in defeat "Fine I will tell you, but you cannot tell anyone nor can you run away in fear!". He would nod and had a serious expression. I would take a deep breath and I told him the story from the beginning to the end.

He looked at me with eyes with.. Excitement? I would sigh "Does my story sound so magical that it doesn't even seem to be real?" his face expression to something serious "No. Of course not because it's interesting! I never heard of this before and so it excites me!" I would sigh in relief. "Well now you know my story I'll be going now" I got up from my seat and headed out. I walked down the hill towards the bus stop. "Wait! Let me walk you there!" I would turn around seeing the boy. I would turn around and continue walking. He catch up to me walking side by side. "Hey.. But I never asked you name little lady." I look at him "You sound like a child predator kid also I am not little!" he snicker at me response "Fine then miss what is your name?" I'd sigh "My name is Park Seohyun, yours?" "Hmm.. Should I tell you my name? I mean you called me a child predator." I look at him "Yes. Yes you should tell me your name "child predator"." I would giggle a bit "Okay "little lady", my name is Lucas Francis." 'Francis.. Why does that name sound familiar..' I look at him "Lucas can you say your last name with a sir in it like "Sir Francis"?" he look at me confused and shrugged his shoulders. He clear his throat "Hello Lady Park, my name is Sir Francis." he would do a bow. I giggle a bit. "I guess you're not the person I thought of.".

I look out to the horizon seeing the sunset shining on our face. "So Lucas, you seem to be in high school." he nod his head "Indeed I am. I am a sophomore and I am a transfer student of Springdawn High School.". My eyes would widen "Wow! Isn't that school for the rich or some sort?!" he would shrug his shoulders. "Anyways I go to Oakwood High School and I am also a sophomore!" I smile at him. He turn away to avoid eye contact. I take a glimpse of his face before he turned seeing his face was red. I'd giggle a bit. I tease him "Oh are you blushing because of me or are you cold from the cold air.". He turn his head towards me "I'm blushing because of you." he smile while saying it. My face would turn red "H-hey I was joking you as*!" I would yell at him out of embarrassment. He snicker "I know I was joking to." he would smile. I'd blush. 'D*mn he looks kinda cute'. I blush even more walking a bit faster. "You walk fast Seohyun! Gosh who knew that a small person can walk so fast!". "I am not small!" I would jump a bit acting like a little kid.

We get to the bus stop, we wait for the bus. "So Seohyun does your family know you ran away from the hospital?" "Umm.. Yeah I guess you can say they know.". It would start to get cold. I would stand up and dance around the bus stop. "Why do we need to be stuck in circle of life? And do nothing but learn! And yet we can dance and sing and have fun!" I spin around getting myself dizzy. I step on ice making me slip. "Seohyun!" I shut my eyes from the surprise. I felt warmth around my body. I open my eyes seeing Lucas's eyes. I smile "Thanks for saving me again Lucas" he would sigh in relief "Thought you fainted! You should be more careful since it's winter!" I would nod my head. I get up and look at Lucas. His hat was crooked and his coat was unzipped. I would click my tongue "You can't take care of yourself either!" I go up to Lucas and zip up his jacket and straighten his hat. He smile "Thanks "mom"" I would glare at him. We both laugh.
