Soon, Caerus arrived at one of the first starting points of the game, Ash Town.

Unlike other games, players don't start at a village, they go directly to town and get quests there. Before he proceeded to town be checked his status.

After checking everything, he concluded that he was abnormally OP. The reason is that in the wiki, he read that a normal player can at most get 2 stat points per level and a blessed can at most get 5-7 stat points. Because he can get 10 per level, he has an abnormal advantage, even against other blessed. As for how he leveled up? He concluded that it maybe because of the tribulation lightning, as for how that is possible? No idea.

After reviewing everything, he started his trek to the town that is close by. He was stopped by the town's guards when he was passing through the gate.

Guard 1 -"Halt!"

Guard 2-" It would seem you are new here, care to place your hand here for identification purposes?"

The guards then brought out a blue orb that shines a purple hue. Caerus appraised the orb and nodded.

Caerus was inwardly surprised at such a convenient item. If this was placed on earth, it would be better than some of the most advanced items made by humanity. Then again, this is a VR world, it is purely fictional.

Caerus proceeded to press his hand on the orb. Once he placed his palm, the orb shined green and the guards immediately smiled and let him through.

As he entered, he saw various buildings lined up in front of him. They ranged from tailor shops to smithies. Before he starts exploring, he needs to go to the town hall to get some quests.

Along the way, he passed the people of the town, which were looking at him weirdly. He didn't mind because he thought it was normal as he is someone blessed. But bit by bit he realized their intentions and started to put his guard up. The reason is because he sensed anger and disgust pointed towards him. He doesn't know the reason so he proceeded to the town hall anyway.

After passing the guards of the town hall, which were also giving him weird looks, he went inside and met the mayor.

He went inside expecting at least an unwelcome greeting but instead, as he opened the door he was greeted by a sword heading for his face.

He immediately dodged backwards and only then did the mayor talk.

" Demon, for thousands of years the demon race have been defeated and both races have agreed to not contact each other. And yet, you are here, state your purpose immediately!"

'Oh I read about this.'

In the wiki, there was a war that lasted a hundred years and the demon race apparently lost.

'And apparently humans discriminate against demons very hard and at least now I know that being a fallen angel is considered being a demon.' Caerus thought.

It would be no surprise to him since he possesses jet black wings and dark goat like horns. After thinking things through, he spread his wings and just flew away since he is no welcomed here, he would have killed everyone but they are innocents and he doesn't have any feud with them anyways.

He flew and flew until he arrived at the forest once again. Thinking about it again, he is now in a disadvantage, in terms of growth over time since the majority of the players can access towns and especially, quests.

Quests are a major thing especially in a game, quests can give huge amounts of exp once completed and you would be in a very big disadvantage if you have no quests. Seeing this as an unacceptable disadvantage, he contacted the Player service of the game.

:Hello dear player, this is HHBOS Player Service, how may I help you?:

" Well you see miss....."

Caerus then recounted his experience with the town and it's inhabitants.

:Dear player, your situation is a bit complicated so I will have to contact our manager for this, will you please wait for minute? :

Following that, an elevator tune sounded out while he is waiting.

Exactly a minute later he was greeted by a gruff and manly voice.

:Hello dear player, this is the manager speaking, regarding your situation, it barely happens since your race per se, is extremely rare to say the least. So we have not made any prior experience regarding these kinds of situations. Even so, for the handicap that has been given to you, we shall compensate for it by giving you a chain quest which will change according to your actions in the game. :

"Uhhh I get the part that you must compensate me for the handicap but aren't other blessed or other players have demonic races that also face the same situation as me? I mean I'm not the only one who became a demon right? Right?"

: We are extremely sorry to say this but you ARE the only demonic race among all players. Most, if not all, have rolled a human,dwarf, or elven kind of race, there are a few cases of some being a fairy but that's it. Well, if there is nothing more then the compensation shall be as follows, a chain quest, a book about alchemy and blacksmithing and an item that can find materials for alchemy and blacksmithing. :
