Lucky: Boltori And The Prince

He pulled out a credit card and handed it to me saying, "I got this for you yesterday. We are engaged so what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. There is no limit. Go crazy today."

I took the card out of his hands because I wasn't one to object to spending another persons money besides my own.

He leaned in and whispered, "That dress looks good on you."

Before I could reply, he walked out of my room. Kacy started to squeal but I tuned her out as I looked down at what she pulled at for me not noticing it before. I was wearing a white lace dress that reached just above my knees. The top above the belt was loose while the bottom three quarters was tight. It had a split on each leg that went up to my upper t.h.i.g.h in the front and a very low cut neckline. Kacy paired it with a sapphire belt around the waist and sparkly heels. I forgot that all my closet but a few outfits was left behind.

After I got my makeup and hair done, Kacy and I left to go shopping. We first went and got our nails done. Mine were always long stiletto shaped nails and Kacy got the same but hers were pink galaxy as where mine were blue that glowed. After our nails, we went to our favorite shops. I got more training clothes, lingerie, everyday clothes, and shoes. Before we reached the stores that were full of the formal dresses, Maverick texted me saying there was an emergency at the castle.

Not thinking much of it, I drive to the castle with Kacy but as I pulled up to the gates I was met with swarms of reporters. I slowly drove through the crowd and through the gates. Once I reached the front door, I jumped out and walked inside. The first thing I seen was Jacetin sitting on the stairs. I walked up to him with my arms full of bags. I dropped them at his feet as Kacy finally caught up to me.

"What is the problem that I had to come here on my day of shopping?! I was so close to going to the spa. What in the world could you two not handle?!" I asked bitterly.

Jacetin just looked at me confused. As I was about to go off, I heard a scream come from Kacy. I turned around to see Maverick laying on his side, floating in mid air, and twirling a price of Kacy's hair. He was smiling like the Cheshire cat.

"He wouldn't stop going on about how he just wanted to be with you. It was getting annoying." Maverick explained focusing on my very terrified friend. He loves girls like Kacy.

"Maverick you are scaring her. She does have a boyfriend. Kacy the creepy hunter is Maverick. Maverick the living doll is Kacy." I introduced them. After hearing that he was scaring Kacy he righted himself on his feet standing instead of floating.

"Um how can he do that? Also I no longer have a boyfriend. Retail therapy today was for that." she quietly said.

"Well he is the royal hunter. You know the CEO of Shadows. Well since I'm here I guess I can at least get a room or two unlocked. Preferably one where I can try on all my new clothes." I said picking up my bags.

Jacetin grabbed them out of my hands as he said, "I have a room in mind. Follow me. A few hallways need to be opened before you can get to it."

I walked up the stairs following Jacetin but I looked back to see Kacy already blushing from Maverick's flirting.

"Hey Kacy he is great in bed!" I yelled back at them only to see them both blush a deep red but a growl came from the man in front of me. I ignored it thinking that it was in my mind.

Jacetin walked me to a corner of the castle that was the furthest way from the waterfall. I wasn't able to explore a major portion of over here because it was spelled. The main focus of this corner was a tower. I have yet to look at what's inside since the other wall of windows has my current interest.

Jacetin explained a simple spell to me about how to open the passage. It was a phrase in Latin.

quaeram transitum curiositatis causa hanc portic.u.m

Once I said the spell, we were able to continue. He told me that the spell would work with every other hallway except one in the castle. As we walked up the stairs in the tower he told me of the spell that I would need next for the room at the top.

venio quaerens requiem et scientia

He explained that that spell will only work for this room and the lab. As we reached the top, we stopped before a door that had engravings of a dragon, gems, and a portrait of a random person. There was lines of metal that weaved their way through the wood as if it were part of the wood grain. The door was honestly beautiful.

"This is a very special room. This is what I call the boltori's tower. It's safe place for you to practice your magic and not affect anyone outside of here. It's also a library full of magical knowledge and history. Adda converted the top portion to a space for a bed and bathroom. Warning its bigger on the inside." Jacetin explained what the room was as I did the spell and worked it. I was truly amazed and at a loss for words.
