Lumina Church: From An Assassin To A Nun

Noble District, Baron Turvenias mansion.

Four shadows can be seen sneakily infiltrate the baron mansion while removing the guards who are on their way. Their movement is swift and precise that no guards able to sense them before they appeared behind them and passed out.

"Who are you!?- Mmph!?…mmm.."

*thud*

Another guard who is guarding the bedroom gets knocked out by one of the shadows and fell asleep beside the door. After doing that, the shadow makes a sign that's only understood by her team. One of her teammates immediately chants a spell with a face speed on the door.

「Trap Detection」

Yellow light shines through the door, but it only appears for a while before it disappears.

The one who chants the spell shook her head. Her teammate who saw that got surprised a bit, but not long after, another teammate comes in front of the door and kick open the door with brute force.

*Boom!* *Clang!*

The door flies through the room and broke the window that positioned across the room, making the cold wind of night blew into the room.

"Tch…adventurer guild, all of you are truly a group of barbarians. Can't you see that I'm trying to enjoy my teatime in peace?"

The four of them enter the room, only to find a pot belly noble calmly drinking his tea in front of them. It's like they here or not will not make any differences as he will still enjoy his teatime. The pot belly noble sip his hot tea without paying any attention to the intruders, but the intruders wouldn't ignore him as they have spread and hide inside the rooms and throw throwing knives at him.

"Haa…rude ones, disrupting a gentlemen teatime will result in suitable punishment you know…? Well…since all of you are girls then you will…" Saying that words, the pot belly noble opened his clothes without concerning himself to the throwing knives almost reached him. But before it can reach him, black masses appear out of nowhere and block those knives, render them useless.

The pot belly noble keep opening his clothes like it's nothing, revealing his pot belly body, but soon, his skin starts to wither, and black masses begin to come out from his withered skin. All of the skin on his body got withered and torn up by those black masses resulting in his once pot belly, and pudgy face becomes skinny in an instant, revealing a rotten skin behind the fake skin.

"…become the foods of my cute babies!"

Church District, Graveyard.

Five people can be seen approaching the graveyard with caution. The five of them are composed with Assassin, Knight, Paladin, Priest, and Mage with the Knight as the leader among all of them.

The knight name is Leo Reistive Calmarosh, one of the candidates to become King 11 years ago, but lost against his older brother in the struggle for the crown and gets exiled from Calmarosh city. Although he got exiled, he didn't hate his older brother for it. Aiming for the throne to become a King is all to make his royal mother happy. In the end, he didn't really care about the crown.

All that exists in his eyes from the past till now is battle, but it has also get filled with family and friends. Because of that, his most trusted subordinates follow him and become adventurer together, creating the team Iron Crown and he changes his name from Leo to Theo.

For him, the past 11 years living as adventurers are more fulfilling than living in the castle. He can even choose his own partner as a commoner, which makes him happier than ever as he has his own family already. Nowadays, except his adventurer team, no other people remember or know him as Leo Reistive Calmarosh, even his dear wife didn't know about it.

"Theo, be careful…we might fight undead when we confront him." The paladin said in low voices as he keeps looking around the surroundings.

"Gil, which one would be more interesting to fight with? The undead controlled by the followers or undead that wander the Mist Mountain all year round?" Theo asks with excitement, while Gil the Paladin only sigh and replied. "Of course the undead that got controlled by the necromancer, but please express cautious as they will most likely proficient with poison."

"Don't worry…like what I always said…with the five of us here, we are invincible! Evans and you can heal us from poison, Yupo can protect us from the shadow in case of sneak attack, Hylas can easily burn off the undead, while I can protect all of you with my strength!"

Theo declares proudly, raising the morale of his teammate who let out a smile when they heard his words.

The five of them move carefully through the graveyard, even so, fogs start to envelop them little by little, blocking their field of visions. None of them let out panicked voices because of that as the magician and priest begin to chant a spell.

「Heat Resistance!」

「Heat Barrier!」

Orange light envelops all of them, while fire appears around them, burning the fogs and make it easy to see again. The burned fogs revealed the figures of a man with black clothes and a kind smile. The man look at them with surprise after seeing the fogs around them got cleared up by them. The five of them rush ahead to attack him, but before they get him, fogs start to envelop his body and make him disappear from their vision.

"Haaa…I haven't finish cultivating the ultimate undead…don't disturb my works, will you…I wonder if the other will blame me for it..."

*Clap*

With a clap, the earth around rumbled, bony and rotten hands start to climb from the grounds, trying to climb out from their graves and kill the five of them.

Theo looks at that scene with a confident look as he drew his longswords and give his teammate an order.

"Hylas use your fire to ward off those undead! Yupo protect everyone from the shadows! Evans support and heal everyone while searching for their leaders! Gil protect Hylas, Yupo, and Evans while killing the undead that breakthrough Hylas fire! And lastly..."

"Go back home safely and get a drink in adventurer Guild to celebrate victory!"

Commoner district, Commoner house wine cellar.

"Jazel, There's poison reaction around the cellar, it seems that we didn't feel it yet because of the white cloud protecting us. Should we retreat or search for the enemies as fast as we can and return to adventurer guild swiftly for treatment later?" One of Blood Weapon team says with a worried tone as they have no priest that can heal them in their team.

"I'll move alone if all of you are scared." Jazel replied with a cold tone, but his teammate only smiles when he heard that word and said.

"Second choices it is."

Commoner district, Abandoned House.

"*Hoam* I have heard homeless living here and decide to ignore it before since it would be an injustice, but to think that it results in making me doing some work at night…give me a break and let me sleep…*hoam*..." A man with black paladin armor yawns and lazily says that word to the group of homeless that live inside the abandoned house.

The group of homeless man frowns seeing five people with black Paladin armor daringly entered their home, disturbing their sweet times here. Although their opponents are Paladin, the group of homeless man didn't show any fear as they rise from their seats and grab their weapons to confront these Paladin.

"Brothers! We have been granted home here to protect ourselves from cold and rain, do you want to go back to that day where we might die anytime in the cold winter?"

"NO!"

"Then take up your weapon and attack!"

"ATTACK!"

The mob of homeless people charged at them while the lazy look on the Paladin disappears in an instant.

"Tch…this is going to be troublesome…Get ready boys!"

Inside the shop, a fat merchant is promoting his wares energetically to the group of customer that just arrived.

"Toxicflytrap, The aroma it exudes is so sweet that it will hypnotize people to like it, these people will try to spend a lot of time with it because of the aroma and because of that, hidden poison will start to appear inside their bodies. The more someone gets in contact with this plant, the earlier they will die. Not to mention this plant also looks like Aromaflytrap that's used to make a room sweet while killing the pest that entered the rooms."

After the merchants finish explaining about his product, his customers look at the plant with d.e.s.i.r.e while turning back to discuss with his companion before nodding his head "Ok, I will buy two…"

"Then, it's 3 platinum and 80 gold." The merchants smile as he said that words, but before he continues, he can felt a jolt on his minds before he smiles at the customers again, but much more kinder than before.

"Can I pay it with different things?" The customer replied while rummaging his bag.

"Of course you can… you can even pay it… with your life!"

The door of his building closed, and poisonous smoke starts to envelop the room as soon as the merchants say that words, enveloping and poisoning the group of customers in an instant. The group of customers didn't know what happened and got panicked, two of them even took out their swords to stab the merchants, yet before they can stab him, a weak sensation overflow them, making them unable to move.

"W..hy…?"

The customer that has been negotiating with the merchant got surprised by the merchant sudden action. They have heard this place has a good reputation, that's why they aren't afraid buying things here as merchants need reputation to do business, even in the black market. But here, they got poisoned by this shitty merchants!

"Heh, don't think I don't know that you're the adventurer group tasked to hunt us. It's good that my friends warn me, or I may die with the secret weapon you have in your bag. " The merchants said to them with scorn.

They didn't understand the merchant words. They just want to buy it with another plant alright? Why did the merchant immediately poison them!? Didn't he caught the wrong person! He wants to complain, but the poison has made his body too weak to move, even opening his mouth need a lot of efforts.

While the merchants scoff of his customers, the voice of a man jeering him appears behind him. The merchant got some bad premonition and turned around, but before he can do anything, his head has flown from his body.

The merchants can only mutter that words while looking at the rains of blood that comes out from his headless body and a man who was casually waving his ax to get rid of his blood from his ax.
