First and foremost, he was called by Kael to the backstage of the gymnasium and the teacher casted some weird magic on him which caused Ken to be paralyzed for the duration. Then when Ura called Ken on stage, Kael instantly disabled his paralyzing spell and pushed Ken on the direction of the stage to be presented to the whole school. Then Ura casted a subtle telepathy magic to communicate with her son and told him to play along unless he wants a series of never ending nightmares for the rest of his life that involves gay p.o.r.n, yaoi, and Yura raping him while he is tied and blindfolded.

Not that he minded the last one though, but still the first two dreams are totally a big NO for a straight guy like him.

So, the copy magus was left with no choice and agreed with her as he reluctantly faced the whole population of Moonlight.

Despite what Ura just said, Ken seem to be doing an impressive job at maintaining his composure even though in reality, he is very surprised.

Ura smiled as she approached her adopted son and ask. "So, Ken Mercer, do you accept this position, the 4th Moon of the Lunar 10?"

The copy magus thought about the benefits of being one of the 10 esteemed guardians of the academy.

One, a responsibility of being a Lunar magus is that you will be assigned dangerous and highly classified missions that most of the time gets you out of the academy.

Second, being a Lunar magus grants you access to high ranking spells located deep within the forbidden inner sections of the Moonlight Academy Library.

Third, you will have access to secrets that not even normal magus has the privilege to know.

Fourth, if it is to uphold your duties and responsibilities as one of the Lunar 10, then you get to be excused in class.

Lastly, you automatically gain the rank of Master Magus, which grants you the Lunar seal of Leadership, the ability to create your own magus group with a total of 9 servants and the three benefits mentioned can also be shared within your servants.

And the best benefits that come with it is that your servants can't cause you any form of harm as restricted by the seal unless the master allows it for whatever reason.

The boy bared his teeth, grinning at the possibilities of being a leader of his own group, one of his own making that will take Kalas by storm. Also, being excused in class and getting away from that bastard of a silver haired teacher adds icing to the cake.

So, the boy without any hints of hesitation in his voice answered. "Alright, I accept."

Ura smiled at his answer and said as she motions Ken to kneel. "Excellent." Then she summons a violet magical circle with the crescent moon symbol on the floor right below Ken as she chanted the ritual to make Ken's status official.

"Then by my right as the 15th successor of the Moon, I hereby appoint Ken Mercer as one of the Lunar 10. May Lady Luna bestow this blessing upon you and may she deem you worthy of her protection. May she smile upon your righteousness and condemn for your wickedness."

The ritual of the Lunar guardians did its part as a crescent moon seal suddenly appeared on Ken's right palm.

"The Lunar Seal of Leadership, may it serve your purpose well and guide you in becoming one of the future leaders and protectors of Moonlight and all of Kalas." The childlike headmistress said as Ken was eyeing at the new symbol with awe.

"I won't disappoint you mom uh I mean Master Ura." The boy said with a grateful smile, having the decency to change the way he addresses his mother since both of them are in a formal ceremony of the Lunar initiation rites.

Ura just giggled in response and answered with a smile. "I'm counting on you, son."

After the ceremony, shouts of praises and cheers were heard from the whole student body at the boy being proclaimed as the new 4th Moon of the Lunar 10.

"Wow, you are awesome Mercer!!"

"A legend has just risen!!"

"The Magus of Infinity is born!!"

Ana was seen somewhere in the crowd as she smiled, happy for her escort's achievement.

'Heh, I guess it is to be expected. The Lunar 10, same as the Solar 10 of Darksun Academy. I wonder if he'll take me as his servant?'

The dragon girl then widens her eyes in realization at what she just thought and tried to shrug it off but failed as she sported a huge blush of embarrassment.

'N-no, I refuse to bow down to the mongrel, no matter how powerful he is.' Then she added on her thoughts as she smiled once more. 'Although, He kind of deserves it, and I heard that the benefits of being a Lunar magus also applies to the servants.'

Beside Ana, a certain blonde ice magus though was gleaming with utter ecstasy, her idol being named as one of the esteemed guardians of the Academy.

Yura was happy for her little brother and for herself since she could spend more time with him at the Lunar Council office to further enrichen their bonds as siblings as what the girl like to call it.

May was genuinely happy for Ken. Being one of his true friends during his first year, she can't help but also feel lonely that the boy will be distancing himself from their class since he now has additional responsibilities as a Lunar 10.

Somewhere at the very back of the cheering crowd, the mysterious violet haired girl with yellow eyes held a huge grin and lick her lips with sheer excitement as she eyed on the new Lunar magus on the stage.

"Oh, this day just keeps getting better and better. You interest me even more Ken Mercer."

At the very same time, the blue long-haired ponytail girl who is leaning around the corner on the back and crossing her arms sported a serious expression as she also looks at the copy magus on stage.

'So, the magus with the bloodline MIMICRY is the headmistress' son as well as becoming one of the Lunar 10? This will prove to be difficult for the A.S.SOCIATION.'
