After informing Drake Talion of the news, and much to his impressed approval, Ken was officially granted the title of the 4th Moon, along with its benefits and together with Ana and Glacia, they proceeded to the Library's forbidden section where only the Lunar 10 and its servants were granted the privilege to study.

When they arrive at their location, they were greeted by an imposing and huge figure of a robed wizard guard, his face who became alarmed of their presence.

"Halt!! State your business."

"Ken Mercer, 4th Moon together with his servants, we are here for information not available in the other parts of the library." The boy said and together, the three of them showed their respective crescent moon symbols embedded in the palm of their right hands.

The guard nodded in understanding and answered "I see, the newest Lunar magus if I'm not mistaken. Very well, you may enter, and remember, I don't care if you are a Lunar magus or the vice head himself, but if you violate the rules, then you'll be dealing with the elementals understood?"

Ken nodded in response and said as he wondered something "Yeah sure. Although, if you are going to use prestigious magi as examples to make your point, why not the headmistress herself?"

The wizard merely shivered in fear as soon he heard the words, the terrifying 12 letter word that is feared throughout the entire school and also the nation as he remembered some sort of trauma as evident by his paling face.

"Uh, I don't want to talk about it. Anyways enter." The wizard said, trying his best to dismissed Ken's statement casually as he casted a spell to open the door that serves as the entrance to the forbidden inner sanctum.

'You have to hand it over to my mother, always scaring the crap even the most hardened of men.' The copy magus sweat drop as he thought about it and with Ana and Glacia, finally entered.

The library of Moonlight Magi Academy is a sanctuary filled with thousands of knowledge gathered from ages past. It is filled with books of every disciplines and schools of magic, and also place where students and even the faculty delve themselves into a higher calling of magus craft as they pursue arts and spells worthy to be look upon to.

There is a saying that A magus is only as good as he knows which means that knowledge is power, the necessary ingredient in even casting the simplest of spells.

But Too much knowledge is also a risk, the more you know, the more you will be succ.u.mbed to the dark inner forces of temptation. Too much knowledge is an asset as well as it is a boon. Many magi throughout history gave in to their vast powerful magic, believing themselves to be above others and thus, abusing the knowledge bestowed upon themselves.

Thus, the inner sanctum of the Moonlight library was formed, another place filled with tomes that consisted of even an even vaster amount of knowledge that is so forbidden that even a magus filled with the best intent may ultimately be tempted by such magic. Only worthy individuals such as the Lunar 10, carefully hand-picked magi with the most resilient and strongest of morals are granted access here. There are also other exceptional individuals who are allowed to enter, like the headmistress herself naturally and other magi who are selfless and devoted as align to their good nature.

Of course, the inner sanctum also accepts the servants of the Lunar 10, but only if they are accompanied by their master personally, and any attempt to abuse or used the magic that is learned in the inner sanctum for vile and undesirable reasons is considered an act of ultimate transgression. Such action of treason is unbiasedly given punishment to both the servant and also the master himself since the servant in the end is basically the master's responsibility.

Ken Mercer and his new servants finally found the book that they are looking for, a yellow tome with the symbol of a cross embedded in its cover with rune engravings that is only decipherable by the clerics of the Divine Order.

Thankfully and much to their utter relief, the language inside is English, so let's just leave it at that.

"Let's see, Canaria's Master Guide to Defend yourself against Demons. This Canaria guy whatsoever really needs to take lessons in creativity on making up the titles of his books." Ken said as he shook his head off with a hint of amus.e.m.e.nt in his voice.

The three magi then scanned and analyzed the book's contents as their eyes caught their attention on a particular article entitled Demon Possession and Ways to Counter them.

Scanning the page, Ken and the others begun to read it.

Demon Possessions or DP as what we are going to refer in this article is a process by which individuals are possessed by malevolent preternatural beings, more commonly known as demons. Symptoms may include but are not limited to: Erased memories or personalities (at least until the possession is over.), Convulsions, fainting as if one were dying, Boost in physical strength, Heightened senses, Drastic changes in vocal tone being demonic and rougher, and the most obvious part is that the subject is bound by a demonic malicious aura being violet in nature with white, pupil less, signs which rob them of their humanity.

DP in nature is strictly abhorred especially by the Divine Order, but certain circ.u.mstances can make such magic legal like in a state of Warfare where everything is at stake and all types of magic are permitted for the sake of victory, or a privilege, one being granted to open practitioners of Demonology; Warlocks of the State as what we call them, a group called the Ebon Order.

While the two orders obviously have clashed each other with their different sets of ideology, they all but have one goal, to maintain the peace of Kalas by eradicating the enemies of the nation that dare to threaten the land.

The most common way of countering DP is passing through the infamous trial of fire, a ritual that one must undertake before becoming a full pledge Cleric of the Divine Order, thus gaining an affinity for holy magic used for exorcism in purging DP as well as natural immunity to DP but not completely.

Of course, that is if you are planning to be one, but there is an alternative solution for the ones who don't wish to be a Cleric.

Another way naturally is to defeat the Warlock who casted the spell, but they already know of this, so they would surely resort to dirty tricks to avoid direct confrontation and let the possessed fight for them.

A Warlock of the Ebon Order called Karius Deathfinger sought of a spell that is so potent that even the vilest of DP could not possibly hope to ever match, and the best part of this? Everyone can learn it.
