THE FOLLOWING DAY

At the northwest corner of Moonlight Magi Academy stands the Student Male Dormitory Building.

The academy despite being co-ed strictly adheres to the division of men and women and as such, the dormitory is divided into two sections.

The female dormitory is located at the northeast side and the only thing that divides the two is the main academic building located at the north center.

Inside the male dorms, a certain young copy magus finally woke up from the annoying sound of the alarm clock and immediately throw it off the window.

"F.u.c.k.i.n.g a.s.s." Ken muttered under his breath and got up from his bed as he finally got rid of the little demon that threatened his peaceful sleep.

Then his eyes widen as he remembered why that little shit of a contraption called an alarm clock even existed in the first place.

It was to prevent a predicament that is highly frowned at school, a behavior known for resulting to dire consequences that must not be taken into lightly.

And it was...

"Crap, I'm going to be LATE!!!"

"Shitty little bastard..."

Luckily, Ken remembered that he set off his alarm an hour earlier than his usual schedule so he got an extra 30 minutes to waste time as he walked into the hallways of the dormitory.

He had no regrets though on getting rid of the contraption as he can just use magic to conjure himself a new one, and again throw it in the window every single morning.

The trash collectors though wondered why there seems to be unusual amount of destroyed alarm clocks during collection time.

The men who seems to be gossiping around the corner tried to avoid a grumpy Ken as he seems to be radiating a dark scary aura and muttering something about shitty little demons and alarm clocks along the lines.

When Ken step outside of the dorms, he saw a particularly large group of men gathered around.

'Now what is this commotion all about?' The boy thought curious.

The men then stop what they are doing when they saw the infamous 'Academy's Weakest' himself.

"I-it's him."

"The Academy's not weakest."

"The guy who can apparently copy magic just by looking."

Ken just sighed as he tried to ignore the things that people are saying about him.

Well at least this is better than the times when people whispered at his back about being pathetic and weak.

Then he heard a familiar female voice.

"Hey you."

The crowd immediately gave way to a certain redhead princess as she approached Ken with a dignified manner.

"Hey princess what are you doing here?" Ken waved his hand as he gave a friendly smile.

Ana just gave a "hmph!!" and answered the boy as she seems to be red on her cheeks "Well, since you have bested me in Magicka yesterday, I suppose it is only right that you are to be my escort."

Ken's grin widens as he recalled the events yesterday.

He challenged the girl into Magicka, the third princess of the renowned Dragonheart Family, wielder of the draconic bloodline after the girl doubt his abilities as a magus.

In fact, Ken, infamous for being the Academy's Weakest exceeded the expectations of the whole student body.

He has the lost magic of the legendary bloodline magic, MIMICRY.

Said magic is capable of replicating any types of magic, even the bloodlines themselves.

So, he used it against the dragon girl, copying every spell Ana casted and answering her attacks back by using those and even going so far by transforming into the mighty beast of the old ages, the legendary dragon itself.

Then, he remembered the time when he was n.a.k.e.d with her in front of the whole school.

'Crap, she's got a s.e.xy figure...' Ken tried his best to hide his blush and blood suddenly gushed out from his face at the thought of Ana's ridiculously n.a.k.e.d well-endowed body.

Unfortunately, the girl is not that dense and it took her only a few moments to figure out what Ken was thinking as hinted by his reddened face and that nosebleed is definitely a give-away.

"You perv!!!" the girl blushed as red as the color of her hair as she covered her body with her arms.

"Damn it woman!! It's not my fault that you have an awesome figure!! I'm a normal teenage boy after all!!" Ken defended himself, his pride as a member of the male species at stake.

"Y-you pinned me!!" Ana retorted as she pointed her finger at Ken.

"I got no choice!! You were possessed after all!!"

The people who were witnessing the two bickering like an old couple just stared at the two like they are some sort of weirdos.

"Then I guessed I have to thank you for that, but it still does not change the fact that you saw me n.a.k.e.d!!"

"Hey you saw me too!!"

"You are boy, so that does not count!!!"

"Hey, we are s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e about girls looking at our body too you know!!!"

Then they heard someone interrupting them as the familiar figure of a silver haired teacher cleared his throat

"Oh sorry..." both of them said as they saw Kael eyeing at them with a serious look.

"Already at each other's throats? Anyway, Master Ura called for you two so I suggest getting at her office before pissing her off this early in the morning."

Ken's eyes widen as it is one of the things he feared the most, A pissed Ura.

"Ahh right. Come on princess let's go!!" Ken hurriedly scurried off as he held Ana's hands going to Ura's office.

Ana just wondered why Ken was having a nervous breakdown.

Perhaps this Ura person is something not to be trifled with. A powerful magus that can scare the shit out of the mongrel's pants surely is someone noteworthy.

Ana was definitely not amused as she and her new escort Ken now faced against the girl Ura.

A child is not what she was expecting though.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me? A kid?"

This caused Ura to twitch in sheer annoyance at what she has been called by the girl of the dragon blood.

"Ohohoho, it seems that your new friend here has a big mouth." Ura said with a little bit of amus.e.m.e.nt as she eyed the dragon girl.

Ken was shaking a bit as he did not want to invoke Ura's wrath any further.

So, he decided to tell Ana by whispering her.

"Uh princess. I would not talk like that if I were you. The girl over there is the headmistress of this academy, Ura Moonlight, the renowned illusion mistress."

At the mention of Ura's title, Ana's body stiffen as she remembered the horrifying tales of the illusion mistress that she heard during her stay in her previous school.

Ura Moonlight.

One look at the girl and no one will think that she can even hurt a fly.

Of course, with her child like physique, most magus who would engage her will underestimate her.

And that is usually their first and mostly last mistake they ever made when the girl would conjure horrific illusions and nightmares that would break even the most resilient of minds.

In Moonlight, there is an unspoken rule among the teachers and the higher ranked students and that is never ever piss off the headmistress unless you want never ending nightmares for the rest of your stay.

The last person who openly opposed Ura ended up in a mental ward and just kept on muttering something about scary ponies and their power of love.

The people who knows about the incident shuddered at the thought and pray that they won't fall on the same fate as him.

Poor Minamoto.

Ura just smiled evilly as she suddenly appeared in a few inches in front of Ana and said with a voice that is dripping of venom "Oh I assure you child of the dragon blood. This child like form of mine is just a figment of your imagination that you are currently perceiving."

Ana's body suddenly paralyzed with fear, her vision looking at a horrifying demonic figure that seems to be behind Ura as the child like girl radiate her killing intent.

Ken just sighed and finally spoke up. "Don't scare her too much... Mom."

Ura just smirked as she snaps her fingers, ending the illusion instantly.

Ana was now seen catching her breath as she was panting at the mental stress that the illusion has caused her. Then the dragon girl's face bore a shock expression at what Ken called Ura.

"Huh? She is your mother Mercer?!" Ana ask as she look at the other two occupants of the office.

The copy magus nodded as he looks at Ura with a bit of admiration and respect "She was the one who adopted me years ago after I lose my parents."

Ura then faced Ken as she smiled naturally, her face bearing a genuine sincere expression "Heh, believe it or not, this brat here is my son. I know I already have a daughter but having another additional member of the family certainly won't hurt."

Then Ura turn serious as she said "Alright, I called you two here for a specific reason."

The two magi facing Ura straighten their body up as they listen at the headmistress attentively.

"We have conducted an investigation regarding the dragon brat's demonic possession and we found out that some outside force, a magus was responsible."

At Ura's statement, Ken clenched his fist tightly as he growled angrily.

"Let me guess, a Warlock or dark magus of some sort is behind all this?"

"There is that possibility but we can't still jump into assumptions." Ura answered, her head leaning against her arm as she took a sit at her desk.

"So, someone is after me huh?" Ana said as she joined the conversation between the mother and son magus.

"Maybe. You are of the dragon blood after all, so it's no surprise if someone wanted you for your bloodline. This is why I officially assign my idiot son as your escort since I'm confident that he can protect you no matter how idiotic he is." Ura answered as while patting Ken's back playfully with a smile.

"Err, you mention idiot twice..." Ken said as he sweat drop at his mother's antics.

Ura clasped her hands happily as she stood up "Then that is that!! You may resume your normal activities and you dragon brat." She added as she faced Ana "I hope you enjoy your stay here at Moonlight. If you have any questions, feel free to ask my idiotic son."

"You called me idiot thrice you old hag!!!"

"What was that brat!!!?"

It seems that Ken's fear of being the next victim of the illusion mistress may be right.

Ana just stared at the two bickering with each other, their eyes with electricity jolting each other.
