Mo Lihua removed her hands that were covering her face. Her eyes looked at Marco, specifically with amus.e.m.e.nt. 

With the evil grin on her face, Mo Lihua continued to make them feel nervous. Aside from Marco that seems to enjoy the situation as well, so the others just let him be. 

It does not mean that they were pleased with how the situation was progressing. Zuri and Cole even frowned in confusion as they looked intently at Marco. 

They cannot remove the foreboding feeling that something would happen that could be out of their control.

'Stay alert. Block all entrance and exit.' Cole sent a message to his army leader who has all his men surround the inside and outside of the building. 

Mo Lihua and Piore were the only people that arrived, and it was not necessary to mobilize his private army. They even own the building that they were currently.

However, if they need to use physical assault, at least they had people ready to do so. 'Well, we could also dirty our own hands if needed.'

Even though Marco did not mention anything regarding the possibility of capturing when the talk did not go as planned, Cole still prepared for other option, and he was thankful that he did. 

Since the beginning of the meeting, all of Lihua's actions caught them off guard multiple times, not giving them a chance to open the talk for cooperation. 

Cole wanted to blame Zuri and Aaron for that. They could not even point out or emphasize that she was disrespectful cause she did not grow up with them; thus, the usual respect that elders get within the family does not apply to her. 

Even Zuri has no choice but just to shut up and let Marco deal with Mo Lihua. Granted Piore was with her, and he should have told her beforehand.

However, she already warned them that if they threatened the man, Mo Lihua would leave and that would not be good for them. 

Her reaction was so strange since the mention of her father's abduction. Mo Lihua's responded differently compared to a daughter, whose father was just kidnapped and probably on the verge of dying.

It was just a moment when she showed anger and a little helplessness before she started laughing almost mockingly at them or perhaps the situation. 

The smile on her face did not look like she was faking it which kind of disturbing. 

'If we have her father, would she acted differently?' Cole thought to himself with a slight annoyance. 

They were not the one who orc.h.e.s.trated the abduction and Cole regretted that they were too late to do it. However, he does not mind lying if it would cause Mo Lihua to do what they pleased. 

What she was doing now was like deliberately trying to press their buttons to know their limit of tolerance. A mind game that they had seen so many times but first time from someone way younger than them.

Could the other candidates act like her? Probably not and Cole worried a little about it as they were all aware that Mo Lihua as the next head would cause chaos to division within the family. Just like what she had cause years ago.

Nevertheless, was all her action planned from the start since she knew that they needed her cooperation and they would be cautious to offend her?

Did she know that they requested the meeting because they badly wanted her to allow the authority to access and spend her inheritance willingly? 

One billion dollars was not a small amount of money. They also knew that Mo Lihua could get more with the authority that the former head gave to her that no one else got within the family. 

With that thought, Cole still fumed inside with envy. How his father could choose to give Mo Lihua anything? Not just anything as the authority the former head gave was way more than the current head!

They were not even aware that such authority was already available within the family until they read a part of the stolen last will. 

With that authority alone, they could get immunity to all the laws available in all countries! If that was the case, imagine how enormous their business scope would be for both illegal and legal!

Cole's hand was getting itchy by just imagining how much money he could have! 

As long as Mo Lihua agreed to their cooperation without questioning their plans, they could rule the Doncrelli family and even further.

There was no need to even bother or wait for the Selection result!

Cole smiled to himself, as he gives a meaningful stare to his brother. It was like telling Marco to 'do whatever it takes'.

"It is good to know that you are enjoying all this," Marco started with a smirk. 

Mo Lihua nodded her head with a smile, "Of course. Isn't it better to be with all you right now than enjoying my husband?" 

"True, if you are just a regular girl. Are you a regular girl, my niece?" Marco asked knowingly. "It was just nice to do whatever you want, especially since you are still young."

Mo Lihua gave him a carefree smile and did not respond. She then held her cheeks with both hands massaging it.

'Just like father. All her actions are unpredictable but still predictable for me. She is destructing us while planning something else.' Marco was one of the most who are used to dealing with their father as he worked closely to him, so he knows what to say and not to say any situation.

"Mo Lihua, I would like to apologize regarding your father. If the previous head left him alive after taking you, then your father Mo Che was never an enemy. I am sorry that someone within the family still acted against him and you." Marco stated seriously as he thought, 'Let us see how you react to this.'
