"Officer, I do not know why we need to be shamed like this, but I guarantee we are not taking anyone as a hostage, so you are just wasting your time," Cole said while trying to be respectful or more like trying to delay their search.

Yang Chen almost laughed out loud as he was aware that what was said we're just a lie. It was still not the right time for them to corner Cole Doncrelli as the evidence we're not yet enough for the Arbitration to give punishment.

They also don't have a search warrant. Their reason for visiting was to scare the businessman if Mo Lihua was safe.

"Ms. Mo sends a distress message that she was being held against her will. I suggest not to delay our search, or we would consider you as one of the involved suspects." The Chief answered with the threat.

Cole gritted his teeth after hearing that and looked at them with pretend hurt, "Suspect? Officer, Mo Lihua is my niece that we have not seen for a long time. No way would harm her! We were welcoming her instead! This was all a prank that my niece had done."

"That is for us to find out." The Chief stated thoughtfully, as he glared at Cole with a warning.

After the Chief had spoken, the elevator door opened showing Mo Lihua.

Yang Chen discreetly observed Mo Lihua with brows furrowed. She was walking towards them with a man and a woman on both sides.

'Other family members…' He concluded as he listened to Cole trying to flatter the Chief, who just remained stoic. The usual protocol was to have the search as soon as possible or interrogate. However, without Yang Chen's signal, the Chief would not force his way through.

'We can still wait.' Yang Chen thought to himself carefully. His work motto would always make sure that there would be no way out for the criminals regardless of the means and how long it would take.

Cole's back was facing Mo Lihua and still had not seen the arrivals.

Though Yang Chen had seen the files for the older generation of Doncrelli family members, there are those that they need more information, especially those that were within Mo Lihua's age range.

They were easy to spot on a crowd, though, because of their models like height and the good looking gene that make anyone notice them and stare.

'Too bad, I can't bang one.' He felt terrible that Mo Lihua knew his profession all along.

Mo Lihua seems to be aware that he works on the Special Ops. 'Does she know I'm under the World Arbitration?' Yang Cheng questioned himself silently.

He was very concerned that it was easy for Mo Lihua to check his background. The last time they saw each other was at her school. She even allowed him to hug her during his visit to her University as a form of friendship. It was still funny to see her so-called brother be fume with jealousy.

Yang Chen still remembered Mo Lihua telling him, 'We do not need to pretend anymore. I want to assure you that I am not an enemy of any government. I want to live a simple and happy life.'

It was just too bad that her wish could not be granted. Just looking at her now, Yang Chen felt remorse for Mo Lihua.

Her face looked pale, and there were noticeable holes on her jeans that wounded to blood strains. 'What the hell happened there?!' Yang Chen asked himself, worried. 'Did they gave her a punishment because she was not willing to cooperate?'

Despite the wounds on her leg, Mo Lihua managed to walk normally still.

Cole has still not noticed the new arrivals as he continued to flatter the Chief of Police who seems to already melt due to the sweet words.

Yang Chen could not blame the Chief because Cole looked like a legit businessman, and Yang Chen was not willing to give more details to the Arbitration's investigation.

Cole still has his back facing the new arrivals even when they were standing a hand reach behind him.

Mo Lihua gave him a nod and silently muttered thank you. Yes, she knew her profession, but to use it as a way of escape? She has guts!

What if he was not willing to help her? In all honesty, Yang Chen considered that. He was first surprised when he received a message from Mo Lihua offering him to check a specific building.

When he did not respond, Mo Lihua sent him another message, advising that if he would not help, there was a high chance that she could not make it alive.

'Heh. Yes, use her life to threaten an Interpol officer.' Yang Chen was not sure if he would be annoyed or curious about the course of events. He also never liked people using his profession to their advantage. Still, what could Yang Chen complain about? He was now in City S, in Mo Lihua's bidding.

"Sixth Uncle, thank you for the concern. Can I leave now with the police?" Mo Lihua suddenly spoke behind Cole.

Cole stiffened, before turning around."Mo Lihua! What happened to you?! They said you were hostage?!" He said almost in panic as he surveyed her appearance while giving her a knowing look.

"Chief, I would like to file a formal complaint against Zuri Doncrelli. As you could see, the wounds that I have on my legs were from her. She deliberately threatened and forced me to sign an agreement without me agreeing to its content. Thankfully my other uncles were able to save me." Mo Lihua stated gravely instead of answering Cole.

"Are you sure? That is you would like to do?" Yang Chen spoke suddenly tone laced with suspicion.

Mo Lihua nodded, "These are still family matters after all and making issues like this in public is shameful. Right, Sixth Uncle?" Which Cole subconsciously nodded.

"I appreciate you all arriving at my rescue, but right now I wanted to go to the hospital to be cured. Zuri Doncrelli may still be looking for the way out of the building. So I suggest you all search right away." Mo Lihua added with a smirk, before walking passed them.
