She does hate him, that moment. Mo Lihua pushed him back so she could leave his hold. She then reached for her wet skirt and squeezed it to dry. Her reason for going to the water was to lessen the hotness that she was feeling due to the remaining aphrodisiac.

Yu Qiao seems to have thought that she was committing suicide. She has her psychological issues, but she was still not suicidal.

With that in mind, Mo Lihua glared at him, and that was enough for Yu Qiao to shut up in confusion.

However, her acting like this hurt Yu Qiao more. 'At least she is honest, right?' He appeased himself. Yu Qiao tugged her arm to stop her from moving away.

Mo Lihua then picked up the lamp that she was holding and threw it at him!

"Ouch! Lihua, you are unfair!"Yu Qiao exclaimed, frustration laced in his voice. The lamp almost hit his baby maker. It would have been a bingo if he did not move slightly to let the lamp hit his t.h.i.g.h instead. "So violent!" He complained but with a smile on his face due to nostalgic feelings and some memories from their childhood. Especially the time when Mo Lihua stabbed him with a pencil.

"Why are you laughing? This is not funny! This was your entire fault! I hate you! I hate you! Why do you need to go here?!" She complained, stomping her feet, kicking sand towards him.

Yu Qiao refused to let her go despite the sand dirtying his clothes. His lower half was already wet due to Mo Lihua's antics from earlier.

"Stop. You will make your leg bleed. Damn it you are already bleeding!" Just as he was a concern with her injured leg, Yu Qiao finally noticed that there was already blood seeping on her dress. He hissed in annoyance as he crouched down and lifted the hem of her dress to check her wounds.

"Stop touching me!" Mo Lihua stated, feeling like his skin was burning her. She was thankful though that she was wearing u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r.

'Why am I here again?' She asked herself. Mo Lihua was supposed to only check on him, but end up staying longer than intended. She would also blame the aphrodisiac for acting up at the wrong time. The pain from the seawater on her wound also help her focus on something with more sense than jumping at Yu Qiao to relieve her.

"Then stop moving! Your wounds are bleeding!"Yu Qiao yelled in anger. "I should hit your perky behind some more. Why are you so stupid for going into the sea when your wounds are not yet healed?" He questioned while shaking his head in frustration.

The bandages surround her wound was already wet and loose. It needed to be removed and replaced by a new one.

"Are you done, inspecting? I want to go back. Let go!" Mo Lihua demanded and turned around trying to get away from him.

"I am not done yet!" He replied, his hold tightening around her wrist, not willing to let go while his other hand is checking her wound. Yu Qiao busied himself by removing the bandage and seeing the stitches on her injuries. "Tsk. I hope it would not be infected. At least it was not bleeding much."

"Don't worry. I can take care of that. The wounds are far from the heart." Mo Lihua stated with confidence, not showing any indication that she was in pain. She tries to rip her wrist away from his hold without even looking. Mo Lihua stops tugging her hand finally when it's evident to her that he wouldn't let her go.

"Stay for a moment. Let's wait for the bleeding to stop."For Yu Qiao, this would be once in a lifetime chance to talk to her regarding what he felt for real. If she still refused him after exposing his heart, then Yu Qiao would give up. Mo Lihua would not go anywhere until he was right and ready.

"No. I want to go back to bed." Mo Lihua insisted refusing to stay with him further. She remains stubbornly stiff, refusing to turn to look at him.

Yu Qiao keeps holding onto her wrist. Her little wrist feels so fragile in his hand. Her skin feels like warm silk. Yu Qiao didn't even realize that he was drawing circles on her soft skin until she tugs it once again.

"Let go." Mo Lihua said weakly. "I am tired. I want to rest." Yu Qiao felt guilty when he noticed her shoulders shaking. When he reached for her face, Yu Qiao found out that she was crying again.

"No. Don't cry again, Baby girl... I don't deserve your tears..." Yu Qiao tried to comfort her but letting her cry on his c.h.e.s.t.

"Tell me how you could forgive me."Asking for forgiveness despite not knowing entirely what was wrong. All Yu Qiao knew was that he caused her tears.

"This is not your fault. You could not fix this." Mo Lihua said tiredly. She always likes the feeling of his arms around her. This time though, she knew she wanted more.

"Do you hate me?"He asked, nervously. "Can't we make our marriage work?"

Mo Lihua shook her head, "A marriage will never work without love." It hurts to utter that, but it best to just be honest now. For her, Yu Qiao followed her at City S as an act of responsibility. She lifted her head and looked at him sadly.

He then wiped her tears again. "You became a cry baby. It was probably my fault." Yu Qiao murmured, earning a nod from her.

Then he questioned softly, "Is it impossible for you to have a feeling for me? Just a tiny bit is enough... I will be satisfied...I won't complain." He said, sounding tortured.

Mo Lihua stiffened as she was trying to process Yu Qiao's question. "What?"

"Is it impossible for you to want me? I got your v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y. You should have feelings for me at least, right?" Yu Qiao continued to ask, looking worried and embarrassed at the same time.

She could only stare at him with an open mouth and with wide eyes. Mo Lihua was speechless.

Yu Qiao blew out a tortured breath and tried to ask again, "I know you wanted Yang Chen, and you only married me because of pity, but I wanted us to work. I do not want us to be married just in paper. Could you consider this?"

"Why?" Mo Lihua was confused. Her heart was beating so fast, and her brain was trying to tell her something that would give her hope.

Yu Qiao answered exasperatedly, "I already told you why. I care about you more than anyone else in this world."

"There's that but you need to tell me more. I wanted to know why." She said before she plonks herself down on the dry sand to get comfortable. "Try to explain this again to me. I probably missed your answer."

Yu Qiao runs his fingers through his hair in frustration. His face was heating up with embarrassment, as he speaks softly, "What else do you want me to say? You said you do not want marriage without love. I love you, so the only problem is you. What else do-Lihua?!" He rant was halted when Mo Lihua's suddenly fell back to the dry sand.
