Marriage Rights: Billionaire's Forgotten Wife

Chapter 147 - The sin called cheating

Five years after…

A lot happened in his life from the time he woke in the hospital, not remembering even his name. The car accident caused all that, and it was a struggle to also get by day after day.

Every day, he tried to remember everything, but the more he decided, the more painful it was.

The sad part was that he needed to endure alone, despite him having a wife that was supposed to help him.

'At least I have a maid, security and the twins...' he consoled himself. Yes, he had handsome twin boys with his wife that he had not seen for a long time.

If not because of the DNA result, matching him as a father, he would have thought Mo Lihua to have an affair, and the twins were not his children.

The twins were the only proof that once in his forgotten memory. He had become intimate with his wife. These alone made him feel guilty for even trying to sleep or play with someone else.

However, not remember everything still made him feel depressed, especially when he got the occasional dreams of a woman that he even had not seen personally until this time.

'My dream girl...' Yu Qiao thought sarcastically. In all honesty, though, he was looking forward to seeing the woman in his dreams. She seemed so real that he could almost touch her most of the time, and be disappointed to wake up alone in his bed.

It was a regular thing for him to dream about her. He was getting used to his life and accepted the fact that there were things that he could not remember regardless of how he forced it.

However, sometimes, when at home, the fiery fantasies and sceneries that ravaged his poor mind about her dream, would be nowhere approvable for public viewership.

He would need a series of censorship, the cost of which he wouldn't be able to afford in all his wealth. It was a good thing that all the dirty thoughts about her were just inside his head.

Despite all this, he was not in a hurry. Business has been good.

Yu Qiao was already lucky enough to be able to pay back Mo Lihua in full with appropriate interest and has enough money of his own and be considered a billionaire.

Country F, City P...

Yu Qiao did not expect anything when he sponsored a runway event in City P. The brands that showcased at the Fashion Week this year did a great job as he initially thought to himself.

It was not the first time he became a sponsor, but it was the first that he felt like having cold feet by just meeting a model.

His luck was spot on, and all happened a couple of hours ago, and everything was still fresh inside his head.

The way she walked with an indifference expression on her face as she looked in front to no one in particular. She walked like everyone else was beneath her feet.

Well, in reality, nothing else that happened at the show was of greater interest to him as the one he thought to be the enchanting fairy. She dazzled him.

How else could he explain that lightness in his stomach when she marched?

Yu Qiao seemed like he has known her all his life. 'She must be the lady in my dreams. But I need to make sure.' So he decided to invite her for the evening.

He was scanning through the crowd that walked through the gate with his brown eyes as he waited for his assistant in the lobby.

There were occasional waves from the people he knew and some from those who just wanted to flirt. Yu Qiao just smiled politely but not willing to entertain.

'Hmm….that fella. What's taking him so long?' he thought to himself. 'He must be up to some mischief. Everyone does need some cool. As do I so does he, but not now! Not now!' He said angrily kicking his feet against the stool with his teeth clenched. He was losing his temper.

'Would she think I'm weird if I go to the hotel room at once?' He moved his head from side to side as he thought and spoke to himself intermittently. He felt like a teenager. 'Don't be a boy,' he would say to himself. 'Relax. Keep it cool. Don't be a boy'.

Just then Yu Qiao's phone rang, due to the call from his assistant Joey.

"Sir," Joey greeted on a depressed voice on the other side of the line.

"Yes? How was it?"He asked, eager to get whatever detail there was to get from the conversation. Yu Qiao felt his hands trembling.

"She said she would come over," Joey replied and hung up the phone. He was unhappily as she was feeling bad for his boss and his wife.

'Well, there were just a handful of people who were aware that the boss was married... I did warn the woman earlier, though.' He may only be an assistant, but Joey has principles, and he already did his part to make sure that both parties were aware of the sin called 'cheating.'

Joey was being kind, but he was not aware that the simple warning that he did for his boss would save his life in the future.

Just then, Joey appeared on Yu Qiao's line of sight, a lady trailing behind him. Her strides were well calculated. She seemed so familiar with herself. You need not tell her what to do.

Yu Qiao exhaled deeply. 'Barbeque,' he thought. 'Toast,' he doesn't know if that what a thought or a spoken word as he thinks of what to offer her.

Yu Qiao finds his actions laughable. Women should be the ones to get nervous around him, not the other way around.

"Hi, dear. You look lovely tonight." Yu Qiao said, unable to take his eyes off her. His eyes lit, his face heated as he embarrassingly blushed like a teenager!
