Ning Zhi pulled over a dress, put it on, and got out of bed. She had just stepped down on the floor when she felt her knees buckled again. Remembering how madly Lu Jue had desired her early that morning, Ning Zhi couldn't help but felt irritated.

Ning Zhi stood up straight, placed her feet down on the carpet, and went to open the door.

As soon as the door opened, a chubby little body charged at her.

Ning Zhi quickly caught Xiao Naihuang who almost made her fell.

“Mommy, Mommy. Boaboa misses you.” Xiao Naihuang hang onto Ning Zhi’s leg and looked up at her with his big round eyes.

“And I miss Baobaotoo.” Ning Zhi couldn't help but pinched his fair and chubby little cheek.

Seeing the maid standing outside the door, Ning Zhi noticed the anxiousness on her, “What’s the matter?”

“Young Madam, a little snake climbed up on little Young Master’s leg when we were out playing in the backyard.”

Ning Zhi was a little surprised. “Why was there a snake in the backyard?”

The maid hurried up and went on to say, “Little Young Master was not bitten by the snake. He had picked the snake up and it got away.”

Ning Zhi checked her son again and, after confirming that her son was unharmed, said, “Go tell the butler and have someone come and clear the backyard and catch the snake. And look for additional ones as well.”

“Yes, Madam.”

Xiao Naihuang tugged the hem of Ning Zhi’s dress. “Mommy, why do you need to catch little snakey? It listens to Baobao and won’t bite anyone.”

Looking at her son’s clean and pure eyes, Ning Zhi stroke him on his little head and said, “Our place doesn’t make a good home for little snakey. We should help find him a good home.”

Xiao Naihuang was cheered up after that and he nodded docilely.

Ning Zhi and Lu Jue brought Xiao Naihuang to the zoo on the weekend.

Ning Zhi knew that her son liked little animals. He was too young before and they had never taken him to the zoo before. This was the first time they had taken him to the zoo.

Lu Jue had on a white shirt and black dress pants today. He was clean looking and the white shirt made him look particularly handsome.

Next to them, Xiao Naihuang didn’t even reach Lu Jue’s thigh in height. He had on a little red shirt and a pair of pants with straps with a big pocket in the front. Ning Zhi had placed a few pieces of candies inside the pocket.

“Hold my hand, Mommy.” Xiao Naihuang reached out his soft little hand and wanted to be held.

“Daddy will carry you.” Lu Jue picked his son up and held him with one arm. He held Ning Zhi’s hand with his other.

Lu Jue was tall and Xiao Naihuang could see a lot more sceneries behind being held by him. Xiao Naihuang liked being carried by Daddy a lot but he said still considerately, “Baobao can hold Mommy’s hand when Daddy is tired from carrying him.”

Lu Jue lowered his eyes and looked at his son. “Daddy will not be tired.”

He held onto Ning Zhi’s hand tightly. “Only Daddy can hold Mommy’s hand.”

Xiao Naihuang pouted some and turned his head, showing Lu Jue just the back of his head.

Daddy was being childish again.

Walking next to the two of them, Ning Zhi had on a nude color dress today. Her had bright eyes and shiny teeth. She was pretty like a fairy and it hard for one to look away from her.

Carrying his son and holding onto Ning Zhi’s hand, the family of three attracted a lot of attention to themselves.

It wasn’t everyday that people would see a family that was so good looking.

The sun was high in the sky and getting stronger by the minute. Lu Jue pulled out two hats from his backpack and placed a beige one over Ning Zhi’s head.

“Thank you.” Ning Zhi leaned over and gave him a peck on his lips.

A smile appeared in Lu Jue’s pitch-black eyes and he then put a little red one over his son’s head.

“Thank you, Daddy.” Xiao Naihuang mimicked his mommy and also gave Lu Jue a smack on his cheek, making a loud SMACK sound and leaving a lot of saliva on Lu Jue’s cheek.

Lu Jue rubbed him on his little head.
