Chapter 22 - Nat's Friend

Tony: Bullshit…!!

Nat: Why the heck would I lie to you??

Tony: You are a spy, your secrets have secrets.

Nat: Think whatever you like, I am gonna continue my game with Jarvis. If you need my help with anything you can ask me.

Tony: Ok, I guess.

After that Tony again started to work on his setup to make the new element. Nat continued to play her game with Jarvis who was very happy to meet with Nat. After 4 more hours Tony was able to complete his setup now he just has some minute balancing problems. He looked over Nat and saw her happily chatting with Jarvis.

Tony: Natasha can you hand me that shield?

Nat gets up from her place and grabs a shield which was a prototype of Captain America's shield and hands it over to Tony. Tony then places the shield under the pipe and it was perfectly balanced. Then Tony starts the process of harnessing the new element. After using a huge amount of electricity he was successful in getting the new element.

He then uses the new element to make the core of his new arc reactor which he places inside to c.h.e.s.t and body immediately starts to heal from the Palladium poisoning. Then he starts to check all the changes in his power output when suddenly Nat comes to talk with him.

Nat: Can I ask you something?

Tony: Since it was a successful experiment and I am not dying you can ask me anything.

Nat: You see I have become friends with Jarvis and he says that he can stay on my phone so can I take it?

Tony was seriously dumbfounded to hear her ask that but he decided to give her permission since he wouldn't be losing anything he can think of and Jarvis could use a friend since he was always doing his experiments or flying in the sky.

Tony: You can't use him for S.H.I.E.L.D. or I will be revoking your access.

Nat: Then you don't have to worry about anything since I don't work for S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tony: I am giving you a weapon that could destroy the whole world. Yes, I must be losing my touch.

Nat: I read your file and I have to agree you are a little bit different.

Tony: Can you answer me something?

Nat: Though I don't think that I will be able to help you in any way.

Tony: What do you know about Avengers Initiative??

Nat was completely dumbfounded by that question, her face was like a 5-year-old kid was asked about Quantum Physics.

Nat: The f*ck is that….!!!

Tony: I guess you have no idea, useless.

Jarvis has already gained access to Nat's phone.

(A/N: Nat didn't take complete Jarvis, she just wanted to have the access to Jarvis so that she can play games with a good opponent and operate her phone with Voice control.)

Nat: Jarvy, call Maria Hill.

Nat gave Jarvis a small nickname which Jarvis actually liked since Nat was the 1st person to hold a decent conversation with him.)

Jarvis calls Maria.

Maria: Hello Nat, what's his status?

Nat: He had made the new element and it had worked completely fine. He is healed now and he can access more power than before.

Maria: Then your job is done you can come back.

Nat: Ok.

After that Nat disconnects the call.

Nat: Tony since my job here is done, I will be on my way and thank you for this beautiful gift. If you come to our café your 1st order will be on the house. (She thanked him for Jarvis pointing towards her phone)

Tony: Yeah just go I still have lots of work to do.

After that Nat leaves his house smiling happily.

Tony: She seemed too much serious about her cover story. I will check out that café later I guess.

After that Nat drove back Maria's car to the café and saw that the café was already closed. Then only she remembered about their trip to Stark Expo. She entered their café and went upstairs. Luci and Bella were already wearing nice clothes for the show. Both of them noticed Nat's arrival.

Bella: Glad you were able to make it.

Luci: So how it felt to be again on the field?

Nat: Honestly it felt nice.

Bella: Get ready quickly we would be leaving shortly.

Nat looks over to Maria and she was watching the TV while eating ice cream. Nat then leaves the room to get herself ready. Luci again turns towards his big sis.

Luci: Will you be fine sis??

Maria: It's not like I can move… so it will be fine completely.

Luci: I just feel sorry.

Maria: No crying over spilled milk now, take my car and some fun with both of your girls. Your big sis will guard the fortress.

Luci: Uhmmm… that was really stupid, even for you.

Maria: Shit…!! I thought it would sound cool.

Bella: My… my… how cute. Brother and his big sister.

Luci: Nope…!! I am handsome and she is old to be called cute.

Maria: WHAT THE F*CK DID YOU SAY???!!

Luci: See... that is my point.

Maria: I will kill you dumbass.

Luci: Yeah, sure… keep dreaming sis.
