Chapter 9 - 8. system progress and knowledge gain

it was the morning after Franklin's birthday, today he woke up to a system announcement with the people he wanted to gain their knowledge plus his current IQ and all fields of knowledge he possessed which were minor subjects he picked along the line because of his tuitors, he missed the system to be honest though it was weird having some talk in his head , the reason system came back online was system crashed in attempt to save him from injuring him self too seriously , the attempt to go beyond his abilities.

Franklin at 3 and half years old.

Franklin or Franky was doing his best grow his 2 abilities gained since childhood:telepathy and empathy ,he was trying to test his limits and know his full capacity for now , he pressed his two hands at the side of his head, imitating Charles Xavier from x-men, also known generally as the most powerful telepath, he was trying to use his power to gain extra knowledge and maybe pass people's outer thoughts and viewing their whole life , that meant the power to read people like an open book , to know your enemies history and secrets will always put you many steps ahead of them , he was in his room being taught proper speech by his nanny , an old traditionally harsh woman her face always etched into a frown though given some slight nods or smile from time to time, their country's main language is English but they're also speaking Latin language because of its closeness to magic, they were always amazed at his progress , well compared to other 3 years old kids , today he was using telepathy on his nanny, Agnes Cromwell was her name , from time to time he would peak into her outer thoughts in order not alert her , to his surprise she didn't know about mind blocking, she was a mediocre witch , that's it , apparently not everyone is versed in that art , it was only taught to elites , lucky for him he doesn't want someone like his mom , he was spacing with these when he heard " Mr. Richards, I hope you are paying attention to our lecture, your next lesson will be on proper mannerism, and I hope you keep your mind cleared from stray thoughts, I hate for you act in an improper behavior in front nobles and royalty "

( host's brain was not powerful to support the system at first, so the system was put to hibernation until host's strong enough to withstand the full effects, now that host is in suitable condition the system is again on line)

B. Empathy is the second ability you have it has the ability to easily show people feelings and how they perceive you, it could expose all lies and deception no matter how shrewd. date of request expiration in 4 years and 5 months.

1.there are a couple of bad apples within the residents of this palace find out who using this power only and expose them.( + 5% empathy).

2.1.there are a couple of bad rats within the residents of this palace find out who are the traitors using this power only ( + 20% empathy).

Easy to say, I was stumped,corruption? TREASON? that's big shit , and I get to find who using empathy plus find evidence against them, so I have to make the area my empathy safely reads bigger, the only way is to sit down relax sweep my mind from all distractions and try feel their emotions , that shit was hard I mean every time I sence someone feel greed or hate my mind go overdrive until I find out it's nothing, ever tried so hard yet fail every time, human go through wide range of emotions, happy, sad,love, angry , envy ,hate ,greed, despair , horny or the normal case of boredom, it was nearly impossible, it became easier to find who is who through their brain waves, plus locate their places where they having these emotions if anyone out of place then record and make sure who is corrupt, I easily managed to get my hand on the guards, butler, maids distributing and duties using mind suggestions on a maid , it took her a week , but all is good, I managed to make a list of suspects, and tailed them whenever they when their emotions being haywire, I so far and within 4 months and 2 weeks of observation have a list of(1 maid, 2 butlers,12guards,3workers,1gardener)and that's inside of the palace!!!,the maid was stealing sliver plates and tableware, the butlers use their closeness to my family to tell all details to traitors, the guards basically are thugs , most of them are somebody's relatives, the others chosen by traitors to monitor us , the workers are having the responsibility to take care of magical creatures in the staples, they steal ingredients from them sometimes killing poor creatures,some are truly rare , not what you expect from advanced kingdom, the gardener also in cahoots with workers, as for the traitors are my uncle dearest and his father ,WTF, so for the B.1 request I managed to get evidence on all of them, they are either kicked out or in prison also manged to uncover who the rats are.

After that our Mc continues to use his powers frequently, he use telepathic suggestions to make Charles's guards steal or copy incriminating information, doc.u.ments, messages he continues to use his powers.

Today is the birthday of the Mc and his parents were very happy to say the least, its not every day you child reaches 5 , from his father he got a book in basic science, his mother a book on mind blocking and some basic magic theory notes , his uncle a book on runes wrote personally by him , his grandparents presented him various magical instruments this made him very happy , what made him more happy was the system announcement;

needles to say he was very elated to be to awaken telekinesis at last, he wanted to practice this power as soon as possible, and wanted to keep it a secret from his enemies, so he went to his chambers and closed it and started to levitating some Rubic cube, at first he went for small stuff and started to make his way to larger heavier objects at 5 and half he was able to lift 800kg objects and flight (via telekinesis) , he also manged to awaken new powers due to constant evolution and his speed of mastery like power constructs manipulation at the age of six .

After receiving this power he started to channel his powers and imagine the constructs shaping, he immediately managed to make simple daggers and hammers, this power was least that he needed to train because of his high imagination and being able to focus clearly due to all the practice for empathy and telekinesis , luck manipulation was hard he practiced it using on the guards of Charles who are mind controlled, to help on normal tasks he ordered them, after he made sure he can use it safely he used it to boost his luck , on that day he managed to sight intelligence agents which periodically gave reporters to his dad and grandfather, he secretly listened and grinned like a mad man, after their meeting was over he went to him and acted like a normal child, the agent Thomas Hughes was surprised by who suddenly popped up near him , the fabled most powerful gifted, he then suddenly felt his mind being invaded and tried to resist but failed , the next moment he knew he lost it all , he was being controlled by the boy he started involuntarily remembering every vital information and knew the boy had knew them also from his memories who were being looked at the boy , then the boy said one order 'from now on , you report to me ' 'ok' , and then all went dark he didn't know how he got home and didn't even remember about the boy, the next morning Thomas had an urge to know the names of all agents to be sent soon off country, he managed to get a list of 34 agents to be sent all over the world , and brought the list to Franklin who after memorizing it stashed within the vault, he then went out of castle with the purpose of mind manipulating all those agents, they would become his eyes and ears outside, no surprise 5 of them were sent to America for the amount of events happening there are more than anything, he managed to get outside of the palace with his nanny on multiple visits to those agents residency, once he met them he managed to gain some knowledge on their goals and past achievements In espionage, some were newly deployed agents, while some were veterans, he at the age of 6 years and 3 months had control over all agents and found their way of communication and managed to get a copy of all reports this year, plus he found out about a project which fascinated him, project rebirth, a super soldier serum project, whom only test subject went mad on killing spree the nearly crippled the Eden military force , he found all the information classified, meaning that's all the information the intelligence could give him until he found the name of the scientist who created it, his dad, Michael Richards, so he went to his father and found out that the first subject wasn't the only one, there was another, and he was the one to kill subject one aka Tiamus or the red skull, subject two name is Carol Jones, and she retained her mentality , after reading his father's memories over and over again he had suspicions that would study out later , but he was sure that this serum was similar to Erskine's from marvel , but found the knowledge of the serum erased from his father's memories, no more like restricted and if he tried to enter it by force he will potentially harm his father, so he restored the memory made his father give the entire research and then restrict the memories again, all that took was 1 hour and 20 minutes .

He also made his father bring him some notes from his uncle's office, but he didn't understand a word apparently it's a dead language .

today he put his mind on finding out what is Charles new ploy , he always had one , they have been silent for half a year it was like they were making a move for something big, today he telepathically called for one of the guards whom he had under control and gave him orders to find out what they were cooking up, so through the eyes of the guard managed to eavesdrop on Jared's and Charles's conversation.

" are you sure its after tomorrow? and how are so sure that the fish will keep his mouth shut and won't blow this for us ?" asked Charles still scared but trying to hide it, " yes father , for the 9th time the little prince orhm will keep his mouth shut about the deal if he wanted to get more viberinum, after all , it's a resourc only available here " said Jared while grinning like devil, his canines showing viciously, for Charles this side of his always terrified him , so they continued to speak of the deal and with every word heard by Franklin his eyes went wide , after their small meeting was over , frank waited for half a day to bring the recording of the meeting to him he contemplated what to do with heavy mood , until he resigned on telling his mother and his father, since shove come to push he will father all dirt he locked up in the vault on them and get them a nice comfy cell .

after that things went exactly the way happened in previous chapter.

The atlantians accused my family of making a trap to their heirs until they knew about Charles execution , they made some commotion and wanted to get the orm and their guards. "king harold we didn't know that imprisonment of royalty of Atlantis became your new hobby, we demand that prince orm to be released at once " spoke the emissary of Atlantis thinking we would do anything for peace with them tricking them selves of being some threat to us , truly pompous gits , the king of Eden and royalty present were enraged, their previous peace efforts with these were considered a sign of weakness to the sea dwellers but no more ,

" silence, you unbridled people come to my country, make deals with traitors, and dare say such nonsense after coveting our riches , you think of our d.e.s.i.r.e for peace as weakness, I will show you weakness " yelled harold with apparent anger, he jumped at the emissary and caught him by the throat and lifted him with one hand and started squeezing and until the man turn purple then he threw him to their ship "next time bring someone who knows his place and recognize that he is speaking to king of Eden " said harold Drawing his sword and pinned on the reef , the atlantians scramble for their city, needles to say their king was angry at both the emissary and harold, the emissary for his stupid approach and not given a king the proper respect, and harold for not giving him any face , a teen boy to his side spoken " father , don't let your anger blind you , we are strong that's correct, but so they are, we need to preserve our people and not spill blood over such problems which can be solved easily, send me and shall bring orm and our people back " spoke Arthur the future heir to the throne of Atlantis whom for his age was surprisingly levelheaded, devoided of any rash behaviors kids his age should have.

2 weeks later

we can see a teen with blond hair standing at the beach of Eden though he was slightly worried but he hid it all under the confidant facade he was displaying, on the other side you find both me and my gramps along orm who is in chains, Arthur looked angry at the treatment of his brother but even he couldn't deny in his heart that his brother deserved this , aside from orm 15 guards and a couple of dead bodies in bags , Arthur came in and bowed to my gramps and he nodded back " greetings, oh wise king of the land of Eden, kingdom most befitting to the name , I came here to first apologize about our insolent servants transgressions and carrying a request from the king of Atlantis my father to your highness, regarding the freedom of princes orm and his guards " arthur spoke firmly but with respect , my father stayed silent assessing him and then nodded to me , he picked me up today with him to learn politics, I spoke " welcome prince Arthur, heir to Atlantis, I am Franklin Richards, prince of the royal family, you will be conducting this exchange process with me , and no prince we are not messing with you, and yes I am a gifted one and yes I can read your mind and thought and yes I am m.a.t.u.r.e enough to participate in the exchange " I smiled as answered all questions popping in his head instantly he became aware of me , finally he takes me seriously I mean he is a kid too at least I have grown up mentality unlike him who's is a kid ,noth that they know I'm a man in a child body " prince Franklin its p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you , what do you mean by exchange? " he replied not liking the the words existence in retrieval of his brother he immediately knew they wanted something in return , he didn't like that one pit " we want your nation to sign a treaty that will state that you will never stand against us or support our enemies in any way and after the signing a member of the royal family of Atlantis will have to spend 2 years in Eden and in case ever Eden is threatened you will stand by our side , note that treaty is a magically bonding oath, meaning it's not empty words on a paper ,offcourse, the treaty is two sided meaning we will also help you incase of problems " i said as i looked to orm , prince Arthur's eyes widened at his brother's future plans of betrayal toward him, he agreed and promised to come 2 years from now after that we signed the treaty with my and his blood and I felt some energy anchored it self in my heart and I mention to the guards to take prisoners to the ship of Arthur , after my return my family made a party for me for my first ever political decision, "you really made proud back then frank that was the right decision, I thought you would ask for gold or something else but not a treaty and a magically one at that a really wise decision " "the best thing about it's that its just doesn't concern one generation but all the coming ones "

" oh I see what you did , you purposely made the oath vague and inserted that section when he was concerning him self with other parts of the oath " my father said and I replied " yes people tend to care about the present much more than the future , so I took advantage over that , I think we would be expecting the atlantian prince in two years " I nodded and then laugh and continued our evening .

after half a year we find a sweating, panting, half n.a.k.e.d Franklin, he was drenched , from all exercise he had been doing ,from the age of five when he started the saitama training regime, he barely managed to do 5 push ups and he went down, after a month he managed to finish 14 after a year he can do 25 push ups, 15 situps , 10 squats and 1 km run any more than that and he would fall his body in full pain , at seven he can do 40 push ups, 30 situps , 20 squats and 3 km run , his goal is to finish the entire training, no doubt he can feel his body stronger than before, after finishing his body exercise he went power cultivation, he started to push the boundaries of his telekinesis to the limits trying to lift a 5 ton boulder, at first it refused to move but then it started to budge then suddenly he was assaulted by huge migraine and his head felt like splitting up and he started writhing in pain on the ground and gnashing his teeth.

( error, error, error ,host has exceeded the specific limitation set by the system and is suffering from possible brain damage, would host want the system to fix this be noted that the system is possibly to crash and only be functional at 10 years old)

then suddenly he felt his head become light and started to get drowsy then lost consciousness, at the time he woke up he found himself on his bed attached to medical monitors his parents were standing right by the bed side there was also his grandmother at the moment he blinked he didn't remember what happened.

then came back the memories of the pain and the system help , he g.r.o.a.n.e.d, when his parents heard him they woke up from their sleep, " baby you hear me? you okay? how do you feel? is their any pain? please tell me " his mom came bombarding him with questions" no mom , am fine" they eased up at that , according to the doctor he was suffering from overworking his abilities and pushing him self to much " good , then what were you thinking? lifting a boulder that size, its utterly stupid, why do you have to push yourself like that you're just a child, I thought better of you, from now on you won't be doing any practice unless their is a special trainer by your side DO YOU UNDERSTAND? " he was speechless it was the first time he was scolded, ever , his mom was furious to say the least , and he deserved it but the the thing he hated the most was the trainer, if he to be observed by him/her all the time his powers would be known to all ,so he did the next best thing , tell his parents the truth" mom dad the reason I was hospitalized was because I tried to push to hard and continued through the pain until my powers couldn't take , I was training my new ability and old ones " he immediately made a red power constructs that were levitating around them their were fists hand hammers swords, they were gaping at the moment, this was a new powers never seen before"i think its about time you tell us the whole truth son, every time we asked when you got telekinesis you answered vaguely " his father asked, when he managed to survive Jared's assassination they were stunned, because a child winning against an a.d.u.l.t was unheard of, especially if he is a middle class sorcerer whom can single handedly take battalions of normal people without being scratched, what the recording showed was Franklin levitating and flying at breakneck speed, even with those gifted with levitating or flying powers even those whom powers made them grow wings are not that fast he was flying estimatedly at 10 m/s and that was fast , then showed him maneuvering the attacks skillfully left and right up and down and zooming they saw how that red warping was starting envelop Jared stopping him and disarming him and then destroying the demon mask, everyone didn't know what to think, his powers should be telepathy and empathy and now he shows three more they all refocused on him after finishing remembering the defeat of Jared " I have many powers whom manifested over the years some you know like telepathy, empathy some you came to find out later Like telekinesis, flight , power warping but I still have some more like probability and luck manipulation, willpower constructs and lastly power blasts , I know that's alot of powers but I think I will awaken more over the year I also have precognition which I can't control ( obviously a lie ) it shows a future of super heroes and villains, alien invasions , world shattering catastrophes and so much more at first I wanted to tell you guys but I thought you would laugh at me , i mean who believes a kid talking about future, no you see as crazy or attention seeking child , so I had to do on my own inorder to prevent any bad events that would come near us " my mother and grandmother were ssd a little bit guilty, but dad had apprehension he was a bit afraid ,unbelieving but then resignation, he believed it all the more he thought about, he went to bring my gramps, later gramps came and asked me to show him , I showed fake memories of darkseid and brainiac and alot more events, gramps was solemn , he immediately went out and asked for a war council to be made due to urgent issues, people across the country didn't know about the preparation, a week later the war council was fully functioning war preparation were being made weapons manufacturers were working hard and the magic division was making due diligence a good progress, though not fast , the council asked who was the enemy but gramps eluded them for weeks until am healthy, after I got out of bed I went to the council with gramps they were surprised seeing me they expected dad or uncle but not me , the king spoken

" show them what you shown me " I nodded my head I asked them but their mind barrier down and soon memories started to appear in their heads of brainiac ship arrival and his fight with kal El , then shifted to darkseid appearing from boom tube and his forces marched on earth destroying, killing mindlessly and also the invasion of the Martians, it changed showing people with wings taking control over the planet and then earth exploding, this left them horrified and with pale faces , some were breathing hard I might have overdone and made them feel as if they experienced it .

" when are they coming ? how many of them ? do we have assessment on their force ? and how did you even get these memories,? is it time travel? " one member started asking questions one after the other soon the rest started also , " councilmen, please , one at a time " I started answering questions " I don't know when they will come i got these visions from precognition, anew power I developed, meaning we can stop these events if we put our heart into stopping them , and no I don't know when will they be coming but I know it's at most 13 years from now that these events would start , and yes aliens exist considering we will have a couple of invasion forces on our hands , their numbers are too much to count as you seen from the memories" I answered the first questions whom I thought needed to be answered first , most were focused on my explanation but I could see one member eyeing me from time to time so I did what all telepaths do when encountering a suspicious behavior, I mind r.a.p.ed the guy and to my surprise, he was a corrupt official I g.r.o.a.n.e.d and kept reading all their minds and sent memories of incriminating deeds to my gramps their were 3 totally corrupt and 2 who used their influence to appoint their relatives out of 12 council members, I would say not too bad , but still long way from eradicating corruption completely, immediately gramps attack and binding them with ropes so that's it for them the rest of the members wanted to protest but once they saw these 5 people memories they shut up instead they help apprehend and trial these people, that day I senced admiration, fear ,and little bit of awe in the council members, well the remaining 8 of them , from then on I become responsible for highly dangerous people interrogation, and this was classified as top secret.

the system never worked ,not even the slightly annoying announcement, I miss the system, I tuned down my training regime for the powers and became more engrossed in my body training regime and studying tomorrow is my 8th birthday I doubt I would get new powers as well , I can only show the status:
