Master Devil Do Not Kiss Me

Chapter 44 Rubbing Medicine Gently

“I must be crazy!” He walks back to the living room, muttering to himself calmly before sitting on the couch. He coughs a few times.

It must be the thick dust. I’ll be able to breathe when my throat doesn’t feel so dry!

No, he just handed her clothes. There shouldn’t be a reason why he’s become a fu*king chicken!

Chuxia comes out of the bathroom, dressed. She washed her hair with the shampoo. she doesn’t know if it’s expired, but she noticed many of her hair strands fall upon washing. Her hair looks abysmal.

It’s good her hair is quite thick. Otherwise, with the way they pulled, wouldn’t she look like a patient with hair loss?

“I don’t think there’s a hair dryer.” Han Qilu searches, but only finds a dry towel and hands it to her.

“No worries, it isn’t winter.” She smiles at him as she reaches for the towel. Fortunately, it’s not raining. The sun isn’t warm, but it should be warm enough for her hair to dry quickly.

Han Qilu doesn’t respond; he stares at her face. There are two scratch marks on her skin: one at her forehead and another on the right side of her chin. Even at that, the scratches are superficial.

“Sit on the couch and I’ll apply some medicine on you.” It wouldn’t take away her scars but they can be disinfected. The nails can be toxic, and can cause inflammation.

“Oh, okay. I’m not worried that the scars will get infected. I’m not a delicate little girl. Actually, I didn’t think about it at all,” she says.

She’s being amenable just so she can feel Han Qilu be gentle with her this time. Such tenderness may never be hers to have again.

“It’ll hurt,” he says. He takes a cotton swab and dips it in the disinfectant.

The disinfectant burns the moment it touches the scar, making An Chuxia unconsciously frown. However, she doesn’t make a sound. To her, the pain is tolerable.

“Does it hurt?” Despite not saying anything, her twitching says it all.

“No, don’t worry about it.” She shakes her head at Han Qilu. She suddenly looks at his face and sobs. “Han Qilu.”

“Yeah?” He swipes the wound before discarding the swab. He picks up another and dabs it in the ointment.

“Thank you.”

He’s shocked about her statement, but his disposition quickly returns to normal.

“It’s no big deal. Thank you?” What he wanted to say is, “you’re my meimei“, but he swallows the statement.

He knows An Chuxia wouldn’t want to hear that statement.

The wounds aren’t deep and they’ll heal quickly. Han Qilu packs away the first aid kit and says as he stands up, “Rest here. I’ll clean up the bedroom since it shouldn’t be that dirty.”

“No,” she says as she fruitlessly tries to locate a clock in the room. “Break should be over and I have to hurry back to class. I have a lot of classes to make up for.”

She wants to say, “I was a bit shocked when I saw her, but it’s not like it’s going to happen again.” Instead, she says, “Thank you. You must go back to class then.”

“I’ll go. Have a good rest,” Han Qilu turns away and doesn’t look back.

She can’t sleep, whether it was in the living room or the bed. She ends up sitting on the couch. The appliances seem to not have been used in a while. She plugs the TV so she can watch.

She doesn’t intend on watching a show, but Xiang Mankuai jumps out of the screen, holding a microphone, blooming like a sunflower.

“I don’t intend on making movies,” she states.

“Why isn’t this a step in your domestic plans?” the reporter asks.

Xiang Mankuai looks like a fish as she bides time. She purses her red lips and chuckles before replying, “There’s no reason. I decided to go back to school. After all, I’m at that age where I should be reading.”

“Are you ready to leave the entertainment business?” The reporter’s questions remains acute.

“Since the domestic fans are enthusiastic, I won’t quit the entertainment business, thank you.”

The voices in the crowd die down as Mankuai and her bodyguards move away from the group of reporters.

“Isn’t she a D-lister? Why is she acting so confident?” An Chuxia mutters under her breath as she picks up the remote to change the channel. “Such bad luck! If I knew I’d see her the moment I turn the TV on, I would’ve tried harder to fall asleep!”

On the other side, Han Qilu walks to the school building. He’s not heading toward his class, but the third floor music classroom. The music classroom is their exclusive homebase, and if someone who’s not invited enters, their body will come out without a peep!

“Master Han Qilu, class is in session. Why aren’t you in your classroom?” A teacher passing by asks. However, Han Qilu doesn’t even look at him, ignoring him completely.

“Eh?” The ignored teacher isn’t angry; but judging Han Qilu’s expression, someone must’ve provoked him. Who would dare provoke the devil master? Their spirit is admirable!

Han Qilu walks directly to the classroom, the door is ajar. He kicks it open, but it bounces against the wall, suddenly shutting the door back at him.

“Damn!” Han Qilu is irritated, and he feels “xu xu xu” straight up.

He takes a few steps back, then does a flying kick against the thick door. The door opens with a muffled sound.

Ling Hanyu is half a meter away from the door, and if he was a beat slower, he could’ve been caught.

Seven to eight girls are squatting as they stare at Han Qilu. Xiao Mingluo has been gentle to the girls. Even when he breaks up with them, he’s quite the gentleman, which is not what Han Qilu is. Ling Hanyu, who’s been there since the girls have been rounded, is asleep under his hood.

Several of the girls scream the moment they see the evil Han Qilu.

“They’ve been squatting for a long time,” Xiao Mingluo says to Qilu.

“Just squatting? If it was a horse squat, it would be a bit more unorthodox.”

Students attending Stein have background. Xiao Mingluo looks at Qilu. Definitely, a horse squat isn’t standard for girls, and he can’t be too strict.

“Come on, Qilu, I have something to tell you,” Xiao Mingluo calmly whispers to Qilu. “One of the girls is the mayor’s daughter, and one whose family has an alliance with the Hans. Do much and their family will be punished.”

These rich kids get into fights, but for the sake of their family’s business, they have to carry some weight.

“You mean back off now?” Han Qilu squints, furious as a jackal.

This look means he’s very unhappy.

But the rational Xiao Mingluo wouldn’t allow Han Qilu do unfavorable acts. If they were boys, he’d allow a fist fight. But with girls, they need to be treated differently.

“Qilu, they’ve learned their lesson, and they won’t forget,” Xiao Mingluo is still trying to persuade. If he actually teaches them a lesson, it can cause a lot of trouble between groups.

“Do you know they’ve wounded An Chuxia’s face?” What if the wound leaves a permanent scar? Han Qilu stares down Xiao Mingluo. He says impatiently, “These girls are crazy. If they’re not set, they will bully her indefinitely.”

Xiao Mingluo can clearly see the rage in Han Qilu’s eyes. He recalls his eyes when Xiaonan bullied Mankuai: the rage isn’t the same.

There is a strange mood regarding An Chuxia. After all, Qilu loves someone else, and he has no memories regarding her. Would his love still disappear or would it just remain hidden in the heart?

Then things become clear.
