Master Of The Omnitrix

Ben 10,000 has arrived.

Unknown POV

The Omnitrix. The most powerful, most versatile tool in the known universe.

The Omnitrix is so powerful that it can change destinies. And it has. When its creator, Azmuth, created the Omnitrix, he did so not knowing how it would be used. The evil conqueror, Vilgax, sought the Omnitrix's power. Wanting to avoid its power falling into the wrong hands, Azmuth handed the Omnitrix over to an intergalactic peace keeping police force known as the Plumbers. Their agent, however, was under fire by Vilgax, and, in her panic, she launched the Omnitrix down to earth, hoping it would reach her old Ally, a former Plumber Agent, Max Tennyson.

It landed in front of Max's grandson instead.

In one universe, anyway.

In another universe, it landed in front of his granddaughter.

In another it landed in front of him.

But frankly, none of those are particularly interesting, and can be explored and chronicled by others who wish too. Max's grandson has always perplexed me. Such a petulant and irresponsible child, like all children are, but with impeccable morals and a spirit untainted by cynicism and anger. I found him to be a paradox, and I rather enjoy those. It was my duty to explore this concept. A child in possession of the most powerful tool in the galaxy? 

I saw. I shall share. Not as a story teller but as the scientist I am , sharing my findings.

Unknown POV

In the back of his mind, he thinks of the battles he has fought . Maltruant is gaining more of his pieces and getting stronger every day. His lackeys are getting bolder, his plots growing more destructive and sadistic. It's almost more than he can handle on his own. He knows that others would help in the Time War if he asks. That they would gladly drop everything to fight side by side with him again. But it's his problem, not theirs, and he thinks that he's taken enough from them already.

When he defeated Maltruant years ago — blasted the living clock to pieces with the force of an entire universe — he had somehow managed to convince himself that it was over.

That he would never have to deal with time shenanigans or cross-time wars or hear Maltruant's name ever again.

These assumptions catch up to him.

Ben's POV

It's Grandpa Max's 60th birthday.

Among all the inventions that has been made since gaining the Omnitrix, the Star Trek like replicator was one of his best yet. Using it to create a cake with the ability to taste like the food the consumer loves most would allow me and Gwen to enjoy with Grandpa keeping his weird taste buds happy.

Gwen got all the other activities planned and ready.

Heck there hasn't been any strange ( alien) or criminal or alien criminal activity today.

Everything was going perfectly

Which is why I'm waiting for something to go wrong.

FWOOOSH

Before any further thought, a glowing portal opens in the fabric of reality appears making a God-awful suction noise as it empties the air of every molecule and fills the vacuum left behind with itself, bright blue and shimmering in the middle of the campground . It grabs/sucks in Gwen.

SHOOOOM!

WHOOSH !

He transforms into XLR8 and runs into the portal. Max returns with firewood, but with Ben and Gwen nowhere to be found.

Ben's POV

Teleportation is a strange thing. Whether it's going a few feet, a few miles, or going across the universe. No one would use it if they knew what happened to them in those milliseconds. They're ripped apart, atom by atom, and then shot about the space between realities where Space and time don't really exist. Then they are rebuilt, a process even more painful than being ripped apart. Then, finally, they are shoved out of this hell and into the user's destination.

Thankfully all this happens before the human nervous system can register the pain. If it did not, the user would forever be crippled by it.

The same process of Teleportation is used when crossing timelines, except it is even more violent. When the user gets to the space between these possible realities, they are broken down once again. Their atoms turn into subatomic particles. Those particles break into something smaller. Then smaller. Then smaller still. Until they are small enough to fit in between the cracks of reality and slip into a different universe all together.

All of this happened to Ben Tennyson.

Police lights flickered on some ends, and police officers were quickly creating a perimeter around him.

"Oh man." Ben muttered.

He was now in human form. Probably due to the transport.

Three police officers ran at the teens, their pistols drawn. Ben could see that the pistols were not normal ones, they were laser pistols, same type held by Plumbers like his grandfather.

"Hands up!" one of the more confident police officers yelled. Ben walked towards the police officers.

"Hold on a sec." Ben said warmly. " I'm not doing anything. My name is -"

"I said Hands up!" the cop ordered once again.

"Ben Tennyson." Ben finished.

....

....

....

They laughed. The police officers let out a loud bout of laughter that made Ben worried and relieved at the same time. One of the cops looked at him.

"Kid. We know Ben Tennyson. He lives here in Omnitrix City. You don't even look like him."

SHOOOOM!

WHOOSH !

Before they can do anything I transform into XLR8.

OK....

I'm not supposed to meet paradox yet and I'm pretty sure I won't have a future attitude problem for Gwen to time travel so....

What ?

3rd POV

He find Gwen into a couple blocks away .

A kid spots him and recognizes him as a hero, calling him "Ben 10k".

XLR8 spots a giant impossibly detailed platinum statue that has a plaque at the base that says: "Legion of Heroes: Ben 10,000".

XLR8 is relieved by how much he is recognized in this world.

' It means that I succeed ....'

BOOM!

Suddenly, the statue is torn down and, Exo-Skull, a cybernetically enhanced rhinoceros appears out of the clouds of smoke and dust.

" So he wasn't lying, A younger , and more importantly, weaker you from the past has arrived," His mechanical horn starts to cackle with red electricity ominously ,"Payback is going to be sweet. "

XLR8 runs towards him, hoping that he'll be able to deliver a quick and decisive blow,

" Let's hope this works" Exo - Skull muttered as his horn released a red wave of energy.

SHOOOOM!

This unfortunately, somehow causes the Omnitrix times out and XLR8 reverts back into Ben before he can attack.

" Boss was right ! EMPs would work on your old watch. Now your deadmea-"

WHOOSH !

BWFOOOOM !

All of a sudden, a feminine figure in a what could only be a black armored catsuit with glowing purple lines of circuitry, a long gunmetal blue hooded cloak and mask/helmet saving Ben.

The woman casts a spell before Exo-Skull try to attack Ben again. The woman attacks, hoping to take down Exo-Skull, but he shoots a net to take her down instead.

Another similarly dressed figure with the exception of a cloak , blue circuitry and of course male tackles Exo-Skull to the ground.

WHOOSH !

Everything stopped.

EVERYTHING stopped.

The live stream of all the billboard holograms, the sounds of the street, the light…. Sweet mercy, the light rays were frozen in the sky.

STEP

Everyone heard an echoing of a footstep.

STEP

Another set of steps echoed, much closer this time.

STEP

In a literal flash of speed , Exo-Skull out cold in no time flat.

Literally no time.

Then as if unpausing a YouTube video, it was over. With a familiar figure standing over the cyborg rhino .

FWOOOSH

He was instantly s.u.c.k.e.d into a metallic egg device.

" Back into the Null Void with you ."

"Scan." Ben's counterpart ordered. His eyes showered the area in blue light.

{ Results. Tell me of any energy signatures.}

{ Electricity Energy...Minor Radiation...Fossil Fuels... }

"Anything that shouldn't be on a road, Omnitrix." He growled.

{ Magical Energy signature.}

"That's me." Gwen's counterpart filled in.

{ Trace unknown Energy signature.}

"What is it?" Ben's counterpart asked.

{ Energy signature is made up of particles that resemble that of the particles found in Null Void transfer weapons.}

"They're from the Null Void?" Kevin asked ( Obviously).

"No. The Null Void gun breaks the Dimensional barrier and creates a break in reality." Ben's counterpart remarked. He nodded his head, understanding. "Guys. I think we're looking at ourselves from a different Timeline."

It turns out to be another XLR8, only wearing golden gauntlets on his wrists , what seems to be Ultimatrix prongs sticking out of his dial and is a little bigger.

A metallic sound beeped. Ben's counterpart's Omnitrix and eyes flashed. A mildly feminine voice came from his body, Ben recognized it as the voice of the Omnitrix.

{ Identification: Ben Tennyson, approximate age Ten. Gwen Tennyson, approximate Age Ten...Logic Error. }

" Time Travel .... *sign* ."

Ben recognizes who it really is: Ben 10,000. Ben is amazed how much he's changed in the future .

" How did you ...."

" Stop everything ? New Evolutionary Function and Biomatrix allows me to manipulate Kinetic Energy and Chronosapien time manipulation . Now time to go home before space-time is destroyed. "

Future XLR8 tells the masked woman to send them back.

WHOOSH !

And he was gone.

" I'm gonna report to Rook about this shitshow ,"

And Kevin was gone.

Immediately, Gwen realizes that the woman was her, 30 years old, but she refers to herself as Gwendolyn. Gwen is amazed by how she looks, but Ben doesn't seem to care now and wants to know why they were taken from their time.

Ben's interaction with aliens eventually opens the door for contact and trade between Earth and other planets

Gwendolyn explains that Ben 10,000 has fully mastered and improved the Omnitrix, thus he doesn't need help.

" Honestly this time war is more about killing Ben before he reaches his full potential ."

Suddenly, Gwendolyn's belt alerts them that Sector 15-D is being attacked, and it contains DNA samples from across the galaxy.

Ben's POV

Immediately, I knows that Dr. Animo is up to no good. Ben attempts to activate the Omnitrix.

{ Omnitrix recharge needed from EMP discharge. }

But it has to recharge. Something drives by shortly after, and it's the RV.

Inside is a 80-year-old bearded Grandpa Max. It's his 80th birthday, and he's happy to see his grandkids as children once again.

They come inside the newly modified RV, and much of it has been rebuilt. They are amazed by how the RV now has the ability to fly. Gwen asks where Ben sleeps, but Gwendolyn says that he has his own quarters, due to his other priorities.

I asks Max if he's coming, but he says that Ben 10,000 hasn't needed his help for a long while. Instead, he wants a goodbye from them before they were sent back to their time. As the door closes, Max has a feeling of nostalgia.

{ Error Error - Transformation selection is down by 50% . Self repair initiated . }

I attempts to transform into Four Arms, but he transforms to Stinkfly and they head in the sector.

Well I know what upgrades are needed now....

BAM

CLANG

BOOM

Inside, future Four Arms is already fighting. As the smoke clears, Animo heads out, and he's biologically enhanced. His head is attached to what appears to be a giant gorilla.

"With the power of time itself, you'll pay for what you did to my body !"

Living criminals go to the Null Void, but destroyed or "sleeping" villains are kept at Fort DNA-X.

Animo says plans to use all 10,000 of Ben 10,000's DNA to create 10,000 monstrous minions.

Stinkfly comes in to attack, but Four Arms ties Stinkfly's tail down, and he shouts at him to stay out of his way. Gwendolyn tells Gwen that future Ben prefers everything to be done himself.

Stinkfly struggles to get free, but to no avail. As Four Arms and Animo fight,

SHOOOOM!

Four Arms transforms into Spitter, and he fires slime at Animo.

SHOOOOM!

CRACKLE!CRACKLE!CRACKLE

Spitter transforms into Buzzshock to electrify him,

SHOOOOM!

Then transforms into Cannonbolt to knock him out by rolling into him.

BAM

Again.

BAM

And again .

BAM

And again ....

BAM!BAM!BAM!

SHOOOOM!

Cannonbolt then transforms into future Four Arms to drag on the Animo beatdown.

The Galactic Enforcers arrive to help, but future Four Arms transforms into future XLR8 and says that they're too late. He orders them to bring Animo to a hospital then the Null Void. It's at this point that I revert from Stinkfly back to Ben and setting me free.

WHOOSH !

XLR8 decides to take Ben and Gwen back to headquarters.

As the Galactic Enforcers are about to clean up the mess they were told to do, Animo releases a gas that causes them to collapse. He rips open a nearby chamber holding what seems to be the remains of "BX".

3rd POV

At Ben 10,000's headquarters, Ben is amazed by how it's built. Ben is glad to see that he has his own "hangout", but future XLR8 says he's too busy monitoring Earth for any trouble. While Ben and future XLR8 argue about their different behaviors, an alert is sent out that another sector is under attack. Gwendolyn says that the sector is 61 stories below them, though she realizes that the place is in danger. It happens to be the location of the Null Void Projector.

Ben 10,000's POV

WHOOSH !

SHOOOOM!

There, Animo tries to activate the Null Void Projector, when I as XLR8 arrives and transforms into a six armed Diamondhead to fight.

" It's Over Animo !"

" Not quite Benji...."

The man that said that had long, dirty brown hair. His face was unshaven, leaving stubble on his face. He wore a clean gray sports jacket on top of a ripped back tee shirt. His pants were normal slacks with assorted blood stains, and his shoes were tennis shoes that Ben remembered wearing from his childhood. They had been ripped, torn, taped, and re-worn.

But despite his strange dress, the most off setting was the young man's face. Both of his eyes were glowing blood red, and the iris' of his eyes were Omnitrix symbols. Red wires came up from his neck, just below the skin, and crossed his nose and forehead. When he opened his mouth to insert a cigar, Ben could see similar wiring inside his throat.

BX.

When the bad guys realised that I was too powerful to attack head on and too smart to out think they made a clone .

With all Ten Thousand Alien Forms' powers . At once .

I thought I destroyed him.

BX then steps out from the shadows and is shown to be alive.

... I guess I have to be more thorough.

3rd POV

Gwen, Gwendolyn, and Ben arrive at the Null Void Projector room to help out. Ben tells the Gwens to go after Animo, while he goes to future Diamondhead to help fight BX.

' Great new villains I've never seen before. ' he thought,' Ben thought grimly.

Ben transforms into Upgrade  and attacks BX by merging with the hoverboard. Future Diamondhead tells Upgrade to get away, but Upgrade insists that if it's future Diamondhead's battle, then it's his too. Future Diamondhead transforms Upgrade into Cannonbolt by touching the Omnitrix symbol.

Future Diamondhead then transforms into hedgehog spiked Wildmutt.

"ROOAARRR!!!"

Gwen and Gwendolyn are inside fighting Animo, while they notice that the Null Void is about to open. Cannonbolt and future Wildmutt continue fighting BX, but it appears that they don't have the power to defeat him.

SHOOOOM!

FWOOOSH

Future Wildmutt is knocked away and transforms into Heatblast, but he still cannot defeat BX as he knocked into the air with a ice blast .

SHOOOOM!

Future Heatblast then transforms into Stinkfly and tries to fight him but he is defeated as well by a well timed fireball.

SHOOOOM!

Future Stinkfly then transforms into XLR8 and continues to fight the Vilgax, who then says that he has become familiar with the fighting styles of every one of Ben 10,000's alien forms due to an analysis by Dr. Animo as future XLR8 transforms into Four Arms.

BAM!

Vilgax swats Cannonbolt away, but Max arrives just in time and blasts Vilgax with the gun designed to destroy him, which sends Vilgax flying. Cannonbolt tells Max to head in to help out Gwen and Gwendolyn while he and future Four Arms battle Vilgax. Vilgax, Cannonbolt, and future Four Arms then fall off of a ledge and land several stories below.

Meanwhile, Gwen is in danger, but luckily, Max comes just in time to extend his arm to reach her. At first, she's puzzled about it, but Max says a lot can happen in 20 years. He transforms his arm into a giant gun and goes off to fight Dr. Animo with the Gwens. 

Cannonbolt wonders if future Four Arms remembers a different way of fighting villains.

Ben 10K stares at him for a moment before face palming .

" Of course, my most powerful form .... me ."

This statement leaves current Ben confused.

SHOOOOM!

BX arrives and future Four Arms transforms back into Ben 10,000, who says that maybe he should start fighting like Ben.

Ben 10,000 had his hair slicked back without a speck of gel , sported a full beard, had a muscular build, and wore a armoured white-striped black shirt with short sleeves and bits of green circuitry, black fingerless gloves, black pants, and black combat boots.

That didn't matter .

What mattered was that Ben looked into his counterparts eyes to see that the iris of his eyes was replaced with green Omnitrix icons , he had 2 Omnitrix gauntlets and there was a dial on his belt.

" Wha -"

" Your weak human form. How do plan to fight like that."

" Follow my lead." Ben 10K muttered.

Vilgax is amused by Ben 10,000's attempt to defeat him with his true form. Ben 10,000 transforms Cannonbolt into Diamondhead and uses a hoverboard to make Vilgax try and get him only to stop at a couple of blocks away.

"I'd been giving that a lot of thought, actually." Ben 10K replied. He turned forward, as if though he was about to tell his counterpart the biggest secret of all time. "You know what how ?"

"What?" his counterpart asked. Ben 10K looked into his counterparts eyes. He inhaled, preparing to divulge the answer.

But instead, Ben X used the suspense to throw his fist into his counterparts face, busting his invulnerable nose, and simultaneously releasing a massive blast of temperatures that would melt steel. The evil Ben fell back in his chair as the area around him turned to ash and blew away, escaping his wrath.

"That's how." Ben 10K said. "I spent my life adapting to future threats, fighting with multiple forms , different alien combinations , genetic engineering, different fighting styles. Till you came along."

The evil Ben clone clutched his nose and stood. The temperatures in the area began to violently fight, as Ben 10K produced massive amounts of heat, and the evil Ben, BX, began to produce temperatures just above absolute zero.

"Humanity's Ultimate ability . Adaptation. " Ben V muttered. "Ten Thousand different powers in one form .... MINE !"

The two traded punches. The entire city shook, and all of its citizens knew, that two gods had taken to battle with each other, and nothing was going to survive the battle between them.

BX was, for one of the first times in years, scared. He raised himself out of the debris and tried to stand tall, but Ben 10K smashed him down once again. This time X managed to just barely avoid the strike, but the displacement of air alone shot him down the street. He managed to stay on his feet.

"This isn't fair!" Ben V screamed. "You and I! We're supposed to be equal! This is supposed to be a fair fight! How are you stronger than me? How?"

Ben 10,000 ignored his pleas of understanding and walked calmly toward him, set on X's destruction. He let loose an array of ice, but Ben X flicked his wrist and summoned hell fire to melt them and revert the temperature back to normal before it ever became an issue. BX backed up.

"Wait! Please! I just want to talk!" Ben V pleaded. Ben 10K struck him in the stomach. He grabbed him by the belt and threw him through another wall, what must have been the twentieth he had broken.

"Just want to talk?" Ben asked as he grabbed his counterpart by the hair.

BAM

He rammed his face into the concrete, over and over again, until there was nothing left of it. He threw him to the ground like a ragdoll. BX got up and flew to the opposite side of the highway, and turned to face him.

"What is it with you people? Dictators, criminals, actual demons. When you're winning, you seem intent on destruction and death. You don't care about anyone in your way. You get what you want. But when you're losing? It was just a joke. It isn't your fault. Or you throw out some excuse, or some argument of morality. That's why you people always loose. You're afraid too. You're afraid to lose because you know you've done wrong and you're afraid of the repercussions."

Once Ben 10,000 has BX near a pool of water, he transforms into Spitter and spews slime at the villain. BX tries reaches the ledge of water and Diamondhead coming out of hiding uses the diamonds to push him down into the water.

Spitter then transforms to a Arctiguana to freeze the water, trapping BX inside.

SHOOOOM!

Ben 10,000 raises a bright radioactive green glowing fist at the pool.

" No more resurrections."

BWFOOOOM !

In a flash of pure radiation, there is nothing but ionized particles.

Diamondhead looks at the him, and asks what his name is. The future alien says "Arctiguana". he seems to agree with the name.

Back at the Null Void Projector, Gwen, Gwendolyn, and Max manage to best Dr. Animo, causing his head to unscrew from his ape-like body. Dr. Animo's head attempts to get away, but Gwen holds it down by standing on one of its tendrils. Max then proceeds to shut down the Projector, sealing all the captured beings inside.

At Galactic Coalition headquarters

" Happy Birthday Grandpa! "

Ben, Ben 10,000, Gwen, and Gwendolyn celebrate their grandfather's 80th birthday.

BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!

Ultimos alerts that there is danger.

" You know what ... you take care of it."

But for the first time in years, he decides to take the day off and enjoy it with Max.

Ben 10,000 gives Ben a hard drive of future info to take home telling him it's something he should have done years ago.

Max is worried that the kids were missing, but they appear behind him. Ben reveals a birthday cake, and they celebrate Max's birthday.

' I'm just happy I didn't see myself go through a midlife crisis like canon!Ben.'
