"System Check"

Taro emits short in the central command room.

"It's System All Green, Mr. Taylor. It's a quick rise. That would be something new."

Xiao Mei pointed her new face at Taro and nodded small. Is it Taro's fault that he sounded like he had no heart or a good voice? "Have you been in touch with the station?" No problem, "Marr said to Taro's voice.

"I have clearance to sail, and I've booked a space in front of Stargate. I made sure Rocky had a good joint."

Taro makes sure Marl and Xiaomei are on the sheet just like he is, and gives each one a thumbs up.

"You also need to get permission to do that. Seriously, I'm glad it wasn't just me...... well, let's go -!!

When Taro activates BISHOP, he begins to deploy the ship's startup function. Automated launch functions already exist, but if we rely on them, we cannot expect to improve our ship manoeuvring techniques at all times.

- "Half thermonuclear battery control output" -

- "Propulsion Control Program Stable Operation Mode" -

- "Cruise Program Launched" -

When Taro performs a function of overall control, a breath-breathing ship called electricity emits a slight vibration.

"Destroyer plum. Launch!!"

Marl performs the final launch process to match Taro's hanging voice, and the ship slowly begins to steer away from the station.

"Hull horizontal 90 degrees turn, overdrive start. Goals, SG-3835 Stargate"

The ship reacts quickly to the directive that continues to be issued. After finishing the swirl in just less than four seconds, the destroyer spits out the energy of hydrogen plasmazed by nuclear fusion over two main thrusters, pushing its huge mass of iron forward.

- "Overdrive activation" -

A high sound that pushes through.

A breath of relief in silence.

"What's the problem?

As Taro asks, he wakes himself up from a seat that is automatically adjusted to a shape that always lets him fall asleep relative to the direction of travel.

"Nothing unusual, Mr. Taylor. In other words, if there seems to be an anomaly with the launch and the warp alone, you will sue the design company."

"Sure," Taro said to Xiao Mei's voice. When he makes a big stretch, he takes the drink out of the sideboard and includes it in his mouth.

"Hey, you, what are you doing? We're gonna get there now, right?

To Marl's voice called, "Heh?," said Taro. And a vibration to come soon.

"Hey, man, is that right around the corner!!

Coffee-like drinks that zero out of a glass. Taro clothes dyed in brown.

- "End of overdrive" -

"... I've defiled a new ship just two minutes from departure... wild, isn't it?"

"It's either child, Mr. Taylor. Streams external footage onto the screen. Mr. Taylor's never seen Stargate before, has he?

Taro looks up to Xiao Mei's voice. The screen showed a huge cylindrical structure, surrounded by countless different ships, large and small.

"Is this Stargate... a pretty simple shape, huh? I imagined you were more categorical. This is another hundred times the size I thought it would be."

Taro's BISHOP shows that his relative speed with Stargate is over 200 km/h, but no matter how long he waits, he can't see the feeling of being close to the gate at all. He understood that it was so huge that he would be under the illusion that it was nearby.

"The Stargate Tower sent me a beacon program. We're up and running."

Taro nods at Marl and looks at the automated beacon program. Apparently, it is a program that directs you to a predetermined position within the stargate, and BISHOP had a simple movement control and collision prevention function in place.

"Wow, that's an amazing amount of ship... why don't you warp it all at the top"

Countless ships floating inside a cylindrical shape, visible as we approached the gate. Too many to count, but perhaps more than a few hundred will definitely exist.

"Don't collide with being in planar line...... whoa. Something!! Big isn't the level!?

A huge shadow that appeared on the screen. Taro rubs his eyes wondering if it was a mistake or something.

"It's a Gigantech transporter. It's rare here. Could it have been nearly four kilometers long? We have to pay attention to gravity."

Taro with his pompous mouth open to Marl's words. Directed by the beacon program was directly beneath that huge transport ship, and Taro felt like he had become a covan shark or something.

"I wish we could handle that ship someday..."

When Taro squeaks like that, somehow the surrounding space begins to fill with blue and white light. An increasing overdrive device occupancy rate is displayed on the BISHOP, the value of which will continue to rise even if it exceeds 100%.

"Uh, Xiaomei. I don't know, 40,000 percent overdrive occupancy or something. It's a figure, but this is okay, right?

"Yeah, don't worry, Mr. Taylor. Counting backwards from the distance to Stargate over there, it's likely to rise to roughly 150,000 percent. If you repeat the normal overdrive 1500 times, you'll be within reach."

Though I think Taro will be enough, I see a number that is soaring with a lot of anxiety. The fact that the overdrive device is overdrive is not a very pleasant joke.

"It's time to jump. If you don't want to sprinkle the rest of the cup, you should just sit down."

Taro rushes back to the seat in a hurry to Marl's voice. I feel sick about the sticky clothes, but I totally deserve them.

It comes abruptly when the blue and white light is so strong that eventually you can't see the ship next door. Everything that enters Taro's eyes looks doubly braced, increasing its radiance as if it were emitting a strong light. It was thick to close your eyes from the glare, but the light reaches the back of your eyelids.

- "Jump drive confirmation" -

In a white-dyed world, only the BISHOP screen reflects the function group as usual. Towards the end, the beacon program performs the last function, turning even BISHOP into even more space.

- "Jump Drive Run" -

"I did get the shipment. Good luck. I transferred the reward to your account, so check it out."

The man in the trading partner smiling across the video line at the destination station. When Taro smiles just like a man, he confirms the transfer from the top of the BISHOP to the account.

"We're transporting everything on a big freighter these days. It would be helpful if you could take a small bite out of your tobacco. The freighter's waiting to be transported at a different speed."

Taro listens carefully to the man's words as he misses valuable information. Now is exactly the case, but the fact that business opportunities are rolling into these casual conversations shouldn't change no matter how much time goes by.

"Is there anything else I can help you with? I'm just available, and I'll take care of everything in transit."

Taro emits emphasizing that he is "just free". The man on the display stares at Taro as if he deserves "Hmm".

"Did you put on Rising Suncorp? Never heard of a start-up?

"Yeah, that's right. We're still zero on two employees, but we're both good. To a salvage-experienced mechanic, an electronic control genius. There are two ships, so I think we can do quite a lot of things."

"Two ships...... you, the owner of the destroyer that came in this morning! Hey, there was a little rumor within my people. What's a military destroyer doing in this country?"

To the man's words, "Did I fail?" and Taro with a bitter laugh. Keep in mind to keep some disguise on the armoured plate later.

"I don't know why you're transporting these monkeys, but I have work to do if you want me to carry them on your ship. Wait a minute."

When the man says so, he looks in the other direction and starts to talk somewhat blurry. Taro turns to neighboring Marr in a shabby manner, and she returns her thumbs-up. Keep going, I guess.

"I'm going to send you a list now, and I need you to talk to your cargo capacity and decide what you want to bring. There are four destinations out there. Do you have an advance?

Taro turns his gaze to Marl again on the man's words. When I make sure she shakes her neck to the side, I say no.

"I can give you a jump fee, so it's okay. I'll take all your stuff. Cargo was emptied before we got here, so it's a good time."

Taro smiling with Nico. "Then we have a deal," the man said, pointing his index finger and middle finger at us. After scouting around wondering what was wrong with Taro, he lifts his fingers in the same way. I don't know if it was the right thing to do, but the guy's always a jerk.

"I'll leave the loading to your timing, so if possible, carry it as quickly as you can. I want poor men to dream early."

A communication line that can be closed that way. Taro takes a sigh of relief and shows his guts pose for Marr.

"You did it!! We're lucky. Request not to go through the station management, so the station's intermediate margin will be multiplied and profitable as is!!

Taro smiles naturally at the look of Marl, who looks happy.

"I see. I hope you're a good customer... by the way, four ahead is the number of times you go through Stargate, right? Who didn't receive the advance?

Taro's question is answered by Xiaomei, who looks like a girl.

"You're right about the four ahead interpretations, Mr. Taylor. We borrow money temporarily for advances, so naturally we incur interest. If you have cash, you've never borrowed it before."

Returning a convincing nod to Xiao Mei's answer, Taro now checks his account once. It says "RECEIVED 50000 crd" at the bottom of the list, which definitely means the job is done.

"It's enough money to disappear after spending Stargate a few times... hehe, that's good"

When Taro took a screenshot of the BISHOP screen with his account open, he decided to save it to a category classified as "Important Data".
