Time Skip: 1 Month 3 Weeks

Right now I an in the abandoned warehouse with the three boys, for the past month and some weeks I've been training them almost everyday and now they are used to running around and using KI for hours without being tired.

There are nights where I would make them race each other from roof to roof town to town and they improved exponentially and I'm proud being their teacher, during training I would give them tips and advice about being a hero or a vigilante which ever they preferred. I gave them tips like reading people, intimidation, persuasion, and advice about using their environment to their advantage, and they listen well. Zhang on the other hand had a small tiny book always on him where he would take it out and jot down things worth remembering.

The suits were already done and they are just on the side waiting for the right time, they are not exactly complete as they need their techs and gadgets. I'm not putting in hardcore gadgets as I didn't really have the resources or smarts to make them other than a few small useful things. The resources used for the suits that Melvin asked for was all delivered on the third day and with that Melvin finished it in a month and a week, and it has been two weeks since It's completion. And for the past two weeks I have been buying, taking, borrowing, and stealing, (from bad guys) all kinds of resources for the items I needed.

Two weeks ago I started letting the three train by themselves so I don't know how far they are at the moment.

Not all of the things I needed were available for sale or to just buy anywhere, so I bought some things like computer and communication devices like phones and such breaking it in to the inside to make up for it. It was tricky making these things with no experience and the only thing I knew about them is that I read them from books and remember portions of it in my past life, I had to go to the library for almost two months and I've read mountains of books each time I would be there. To make things I needed I had to go through technology books, science books, and other combination of books just to work it out and put it together it was truly frustrating.

But in the end it all finished at least some of them and their on the sides waiting for my go.

Today is a Saturday and September 23 of 2006,on Saturdays and Sundays I let the kids do their own things and have the days off from the restaurant. Today I called the three boys to meet here and they came I don't know how they came but they were pretty quick, the abandoned warehouse has been cleaned up and I was using if for a temporary base of some kind, I told the three to not do anything suspicious or show unordinary abilities in the restaurant the moment I gave them the ability to use KI and I still remind them not to till this day, who knows what S.H.I.E.L.D. has on us now.

I have made a little screen like device that displays and locates any technology big or small, as long as it is metal and has electricity powering it then it will find it. I plan on taking this to the restaurant to find all the bugs in there, in the restaurant there isn't much electronic devices in there. There are 2 TV's and one computer, well two actually which was Zhang's and a few phones that the kids were rich enough to buy with their pays but with those out of the way I could use the electronics locater I guess that's what I'm calling it, I'm gonna use it and locate all S.H.I.E.L.D. electronic properties in there and with that we'll be living with no worries anymore.

Back to the present settings...

As the three boys were standing there waiting for me to speak I looked at them.

"So how far are you guys these days." I asked as I smiled.

"Like we said old man were ready we've been ready but you just keep on doubting us, we have learned all you taught us and we are practically almost experts in hand to hand combat, let us go out and prove it to you." Charles said, at first they were patient but me still not letting them go out to 'patrol' is just making them impatient, Markus was the first to lose patience and started complaining about going out already while Zhang just agreed on the side. Now Charles here was the patient one but he started losing it as well.

"Bahahahah expert in hand to hand combat?! Boys please don't ever say that but I will admit you are pretty good at using hand to hand and KI but there are more things that could knock you down on your asses than you think,and being an expert in hand to hand or anything for that matter doesn't mean your the best. A master combatant could lose to an experienced expert hands down if the master doesn't have experience." I said and laughed out.

"Then let us go out!! If experience is what we need the experience is out there." Zhang said as he pointed outside, Markus was just nodding while crossing his arms.

"Hehehahahahahaha... Alright." I said as I smiled giving them hope as they were smiling in happiness.

"Yess, thank yo-" they were happy and celebrating when I interrupted.

"But..." I said and paused in suspense.

"But what old man stop playing with our feelings." Markus said

"But... you have to beat me first." I said with my smile

"WHAT?! YO-" Zhang

"WHAT THE HELL KIND OF SH-" Markus

"HOW THE IS THAT EVE-" Charles

"Well not beat me as we both know thats not possible hahahah!!" I said as I laughed out loud angering them.

"All three of you will fight me and you have to at least land ONE hit on your old man right here, if I like what i see I will let you go without holding back and if not... then you will just plant your asses down and do whatever this teacher of yours say." I said as they got their hopes up but realized thats still impossible as I have abilities of my own.

"No worries I will not use any of my powers I will only use my 'EXPERIENCED MASTER COMBATANT' skills. I said teasing them but they got a little hope with me not using my abilities.

"Well you still wanna do it?" I asked

"Yes!!" They said without hesitation

"Hmm then lets." I said as I walked to the table that was on the side, I took my jacket suit off and the three boys were sweating at my muscles muscle, I took my vest off then my white buttoned suit shirt, my top was gone only my scarred body was visible. The boys were shocked and a little scared at the amount of scars scratches and all sorts of marks on my body, they gulped as they couldn't imagine the shitt this body could have been throughout and still end up living and walking alive.

"Hahaha having second thoughts punks?" I asked teasing them

"No of- of course not... how how did you get th- those scars and such?" Charles asked a little hesitant.

"Hmm? Oh these their from experience,( from a guy that previously owned this body) and these scars and marks represent the trophies of real men, hahaha." I said as they were kind of amazed and shocked

"Now don't waste time and give me all you have been working for." I said not knowing my maniac smile and took a stance of the [Barbarian Style] where my right leg was bent and left leg on my front being straight, my right arm near my face into a fist with palm facing out and my left arm in a fist in front of me.

The boys didn't waste time and took their fighting stances of various martial schools I have taught them, they spread to my sides and front. Charles as the most talented in front of me, Markus on my right and left Zhang. And with that it began.

They ran in together and attacked together starting with kicks, Charles jumped doing a turn and kicking out to my face, Markus also with a turning kick to my back while Zhang did a turning low kick, I thought it was a pretty good strategy trapping me with no escapes, but I just straight backflipped and landed with them kicking nothing.

Markus ran to the left side and Zhang to the right as they ran to my sides while Charles sneakily and slowly ran to me, Markus did another kick and aimed for my face so I ducked when a fist came straight for my face fast but I just flipped to the side and I saw Zhang going past me with his punched it looks like thre reason it got me off guard was because Zhang used KI to kick the ground giving him a boost.

As I balanced myself after landing when another quick hit was coming to the back of my head, I looked to the side and there he was Charles with a grin with his leg almost to my head, "punk" I muttered out as I quickly turned and grabbed his leg and sent him to Markus as they both fell down also hitting Zhang.

"Haha not bad I'm glad I don't have to wast my time teaching you about teamwork." I said dusting my hands annoying them further.

"Tsk" Markus clicked his tongue and they looked at each other talking through eye contact but as they were doing that a foot that was b.a.r.e came and planted It's bottom on Charles who wasn't looking and was rocketed back.

"Waaah" Charles screamed back while Zhang and Markus jumped back and prepared themselves.

"Hahaha never take your eyes off your opponents, unless your opponents are honorable and want a straightforward fight without cheating." I said as I looked at them

"Sheesh you saying your not an honorable person old man?" Charles said as he had a hand on his face rubbing it while standing up and taking his stances.

"Hmhmhm maybe maybe not..." I said while silently laughing

"But being a hero would definitely bring you opponents who will do anything to get rid of you since you will be annoying always standing in their way." I said seriously

And with that the fight continues they did their best giving their all to land one hit as I blocked, dodge, and avoid while giving them advice about the way they are fighting.

"Always have your [KI SENSE] on it will help you avoid unexpected dangers." I advised

"If you can then use [KI Enforcements] on your body as long as you can in a fight or just in the perfect." I talked throughout the whole fight.

"You have been doing great Zhang using those will bring you great advantage to your battles, hey you two do what he is doing your techniques would have been more better if you used KI with it." I advised and yelled and disciplined.

After an hour of fighting they were on the ground panting heavily, in the fights they were ready to stop and give up but I just talked them through it, asking how much they wanted this, saying to never give up, telling them to give every ounce of strength they have until they are passed out or not being able to move anymore.

And they didn't disappointment and kept going, Zhang was the first to fall because he was using a lot of his energy and KI exhausting himself, after that Markus fell then Charles, there was a few times they almost got a hit in but they never did get a hit on my, haha of course they wouldn't I taught them everything and I know them to the bone.

"Alright catch your breaths we'll talk after" I said and went to the roof pulling out a cigarette and smoked my lungs away.

After another few I went back in and they were sitting up and talking, they were pretty sad, angry, and lost with their failure to get a hit on me, I walked in and stood there for a bit letting them have this moment. Soon I walked in and they got up dusting their butts off, and looked at me waiting for what I have to say.

"So you guys excited to finally go out and patrol?!" I asked with my usual smiling face.

"WHA- but you said only if we get a hit I-" Zhang who beat the other two asked first.

"I did but I didn't say the one hit was what counted, what counted was if I liked what I see and the one hit was just a goal for you three. Come on did you think you three babies could actually land a hit on me?! Hahahaha you need atleast 50 years for that and even by the time you hit 50 years I'll be long gone leaving you in the dust hahaha." I said, teased and laughed at them. They started complaining and yelling at my comments for a bit.

"Alright alright, go go and clean your selves up and come back I have some gifts for you." I said as I walked into one of the rooms in the warehouse.

Outside...

The three went to the docks and washed their faces and bloody noses and sweats. As they were washing Markus was having a thinking moment.

"Whats up mark?" Charles asked

"Nothing It's just- don't you think the old guy was planning this from the start?" Markus asked

"What do you mean?" Charles asked

"You know... *sigh* you know how he found us in the alley? Then gave us the job offer? Then ther is the things with this HAND organization? And now this I mean we are the ones that wants to go out and be heroes and whatever but, don't you feel like it's all planned or something?" Markus asked looking right at Charles

"Well I mean, I don't know but even if it is or not we are all in this already and there is no going back." Charles said as he paused having some thoughts of his own before walking back in. Markus just stood there doing his own thinking.

"Planned or not we all owe him a lot, and it's not like his doing anything bad he is giving us the chance to protect ourselves with training since we wanna go out and play hero, and aside the fact that he gave us food, a roof over our heads, and a job with good money I think we owe him at least a little. He turned our life around when you thought of robbing people just for a few bucks, if you don't feel comfortable living in this life where we have friends, jobs and food in our stomach then you can leave don't ruin this for us." Zhang said who silently listened to their conversations.

Zhang walked away with a careless aura, Markus stood there making a fist before shaking his head and walked in with the others.

When they walked in a table was at the center of the ground they were fighting on, and three red and black colored suit cases were on the table separated. Seeing this the three were kind of in a tempting state wanting to open the cases.

"Are these the gifts you talked about old man." Charles said with stars in his eyes.

"Aah yes yes they are." I said as I stood in front of the tables with arms crossed.

"Whats in it?" Markus asked in curiosity, Zhang had stars in his eyes and felt the temptations to just go and rip it out.

"You'll see when you open them." I said making it more suspenseful and mysterious teasing them, I walked to the other side of the table and smiled.

"Zhang... come on up." I said and like the fastest man alive Zhang already appeared and standing in front of the table with heavy exciting breaths, I moved the box on the right and put it in front of him, this suitcase had a symbol on it; a yellow circle and in the circle was a shadow of a bird head.

"You always worked hard to improve every part of yourself physically and mentally and I'm proud to be your teacher." Zhang was shocked and looked at me, he never heard these words not from his own parents, but hearing these words of his teacher who was kind of a father figure to him bought him into a little tears and he looked away not wanting anyone to see. Charles had a small smile on his face and Markus with his signature cross arms just looked to the side and sigh.

I walked up to Zhang and hugged him, and like a dam broke he cried out hugging me back. To be honest I never thought I would get attached to these idiots and the other kids but staying with them for the past year and more brought us close. Zhang would alway work har no matter what it is and use other times to improve on himself learning more and doing more, he probably just thought no one saw it in him.

"Good?" I asked smiling at him, he nodded and I just patted his back.

"Alright" I walked back to the table and looked at Zhang.

"In this suitcase is a symbol that I am giving you, by giving this symbol to you do you promise to use it to the best of your abilities and protect and do what is right no matter when where and why?" I asked with my hand on the suit case.

"Yes sir." Zhang yelled out with determination.

"Hmm" I nodded and opened the suit case in there was the suit Melvin Potter made for the three idiots. Zhang amazed, awed, and excited grabbed it and looked over it scanning every inch of it, I send him to the side as he has stars in his eyes.

"Markus" I said and he came and stood in front of the table.

"Aah Mr.Angry you have came a long way to this moment, working hard to become strong and protecting your brothers and sisters. Yes we all know you are tough but your actually just soft on the inside." I said as his eyes twitched making me chuckle.

"I know you just want to go out there to punch a couple of criminals but I think it would be good for some victims and I know you will protect your two other brothers and have their backs so..." I said and I repeated the same thing I said to Zhang about the symbol in the case, and as I asked Markus just nodded with his responsibilities.

"Charles" Charles walked up with a smile.

"You have been talented in almost everything you do but don't let that get to your head punk, or it'll be me who will straighten you up." I said he was always talented but smug about it.

"Aww shucks thanks old man, but don't make me blush haha." Charles said with his hand on his hip.

"Ow okay okay." He said as I smacked his head.

"You use your head in both physical and mental challenges even if your c.o.c.ky about it you have the traits to be a leader and make the best decisions." I said and I repeated the oath thingy to them and I asked him and he accepted with a "Of course pops".

And with that I gave them the suits, I nodded and looked up and it was dark right now. When we came to the warehouse it was 6 now it was 11:38 and now It's dark and just in time. I looked at the three in the suit cases.

"Go to the room and suit up, tonight will be your first night out on patrol." I said and all three excitedly ran to the room pushing each other.

I sat up on the table and got out a cigarette and started smoking waiting for the punks. More than five minutes they came out looking epic and awesome, even I almost fanboyed out.

"Dude this is wicked!!" Charles said scanning through his suit.

"Hahahaha not bad I like it." Markus said kinda hard to believe he admitted something.

"I love it!! I love it!! I love it!! This looks so freaking awesome!!" Zhang yelled out.

All their suits were themed red.

Charles had a domino mask on his eyes and his suit was all black excluding some red stripes around his legs and arms but the most noticeable one was the red 'V' on his c.h.e.s.t, starting from his c.h.e.s.t and ending at his shoulders in the front but still going to the back and ending at his lower back. He had a small leather rubber like belt on his h.i.p.s with tiny bags on it.

Markus had a red jacket on and inside his jacket was a bulletproof vest and a red wing like symbol was in the middle, he had military black pants and a belt holding it in with little bags on it as well. What really looked cool was his domino mask that was connected to his mouth and nose red mask.

Zhang had one that was different than the other two he had, a cape and it looked horizontally folded. It would be useful as he can use it to glide or block bullets as it's bulletproof, ha had a helmet that only covered the back of his head and sides to his temples, he also had a domino mask and his suit covered his chin.

(Shitt It's so hard to describe the looks)

I was in my mind busy fanboying the fact that I made a marvel version of NIGHTWING, RED HOOD, and RED ROBIN. Which is f*cking awesome, Charles as Nightwing, Markus as Red Hood' and Zhang as Red Robin.

I was taken out of my fanboying moment and looked at the three as they were still in awe complimenting each other and yelling how f*cking cool it is, to be honest I want to join them but I have to be the bigger a.d.u.l.t here and act my role.

"*Cough cough*" I cleared my throat getting their attention.

"So how do you guys feel?" I asked with a smile.

"It feels awesome the feeling of wearing this is amazing, it makes me feel like I can do anything. And the fit is just perfect how did you do it? How did you make the suits? What did you use for the suits? What can the sui-" Zhang beat the other two to my question and asked questions of my own.

"Ad da da da no with your questions it might take until tomorrow to finish what you wanna ask so I'll just tell you the basics, all three are bulletproof I designed it from some heroes I've seen and they are some of the best I know of. Zhang the cape you have can help you glide short distances and protect your from bullets it can also be detached and be used to protect civilians. On your belts are a few things like colored smoke pellets and it should help you escape if you are in a difficult situation." I said and I walked ip to them and gave them an ear piece device.

"What I just gave you is a communication device and there are 4 parties in the channel which is you three and mine, press it once to turn it on or off, these items and suits are not complete but their good enough to use against small time criminals and such." I said

"Let's go" I said and flew to the roof the three were in excitement and [KI Jumped] to the roof and stood behind me.

"Put the comma unit on, your ready?" I asked smiling in excitement.

"Yess" they shouted together.

"Haha aright before you go here take these." I handed them 3 red cards with level I with the [Overwatch] symbols behind it.

"These are cards you can use to get information around the city, if you see any homeless around with the symbol in the card anywhere near them then they are [Overwatch] members." I said as they looked at the plastic card.

"Wait those homeless that always come to eat at the restaurant?!" Charles asked

"Haha yup I made a system helping them in return for information in their areas, I'll tell you soon about all the factions you'll need to know in this world and such as." I said and I looked back at them.

"Oh and you will need codenames as you know you can't just be out there calling each other by your real names, haha." I laughed and said as they were in thoughts about a name.

"No no I will be giving you the name, It's part of the suits deal and you are still under my wing as my students so deal with it." I said they were frozen and their eyes twitching as they couldn't name themselves a hero name.

"Hahaha no worries like i said when you can learn to fly by yourselves and be your own person without being under me you can hives yourselves a name.

"Charles you will go by the name Nightwing" I said looking at Charles

"Hmm not bad I like it." Charles said

"Markus you will be Red Hood." I looked at Markus

"And Zhang you will go by the name Red Robin." I said

"Oh hahaha not bad at least it's not something like Red Hood ahah." Zhang laughed out teasing Markus.

"Ow watch it you jerk!!" Said Zhang as Markus gave him a smack in the head.

"I was just testing that back helmet thing of your head you baby." Markus said with cross arms.

"Here spray that on your hair." I tosses Charles a spray, It's not a problem but blonde hair is going to be a clue if three guys had two black hairs and one blonde. Plus these guys will always be together even off the costumes.

"Hmm" Charles did it and didn't really seem to have a problem with it as he probably got the reason too.

"Alright punks lets go, I'll be watching in the sky and talk through the comms advising you through your patrols and battles." I said as I flew up to the sky and the boys started [KI jumping] and [KI running].
