Me? Oh I’m Kali, Kali Green

The next morning was quiet and peaceful, Kali drank the night away and knocked out in the resting rooms beds.

The beds were there for either sleeping or for the injured during patrols, the three Charles, Markus, and Zhang would sometimes go to sleep in the Neat resting room whenever they don't go back to the house.

Last night Fury brought in a team and a few other S.H.I.E.L.D. department forces to clear and inspect the outer alien beings. Kali knew the risk in giving these things to S.H.I.E.L.D. since they would sometimes go out of control with their research as well as Hydra being in it but he didn't wanna worry about it as he thinks he will take care of anything when the time comes.

Before Fury left he gave Bartons phone number to Kali but not Natashas since she doesn't really have much possessions on her as she moves around from time to time. Kali gave a call to Barton but there was no answer so he just let it be as he thought he was "working" at the moment, and so he spent the rest of the night drinking and watching TV from the giant screen.

Inside the Nest it was dark as the lights inside were all turned off, Kali was in the resting room knocked out with beer glass bottles lying around him.

In the middle of the room two shadows suddenly popped up out of nowhere, one buff and short whole the other is skinny and tall.

With a wave of his hand the buff and short one sent the skinny tall shadow as it disappears, the short shadow walked up to the sleeping Kali and was about to grab onto Kali but paused before turning to the fridge and walked to it before grabbing a beer inside it.

As the shadow popped the beer cap and started drinking he watched Kali sleeping and snoring, the shadow picked his arms up into the air before sending it down slapping Kali on the cheeks.

But that didn't do anything as Kali was still sleeping soundly, the shadow stared at his hand feeling as if he hit a metal instead of skin.

Knowing force wouldn't work the shadow instead used his fingers to pluck Kali's nose to take away his oxygen.

"Agghh!!" *Inhales*!!!!!!

Kali jerked up and s.u.c.k.e.d in a lung full of oxygen, before he swung his hands sideways throwing the shadow into the walls.

"What in the f.u.c.k is going o- agh agh shitt!!" Kali said as he held his head from the knocking hangover in his head.

"Tsk, good swing bub." The shadow said.

Kali sat down as he used KI to clear up his head of headache from the night of drinking, as he does this he heard the "intruder's" words and he couldn't help but sigh knowing who it was as there was only one person of all Marvel that would say "Bub" and sound like a growling animal at the same time.

'Guess he couldn't wait another day knowing someone knows about his past.' Kali thought.

After clearing his headache Kali opened his eyes to a Logan sitting idly in the couch watching him.

"Wolvie, you couldn't wake me up in a more... nicer way?" Kali said as he looked around the mess in the room from bottles to wrappers and snack leftovers.

"Wouldn't work." Logan said simply.

Kali walked up to a switch on the walls before turning on the lights finally seeing Logan with his blue jeans, black shirt, brown boots, donning a brown leather jacket.

"So what brings you here?" Kali asked knowing well what did.

"You said you know about my past..." Logan said trying not to threaten the man who knows about him.

"Oh right! Your past."

"How bout we talk about it tonight I have some things to do." Kali said as he grabbed his suit jacket before walking to the exit of the hideout.

Kali didn't make it far as Logan grabbed onto his shoulders and gripped stopping him in place, Kali slowly looked back at Logan.

"Sorry I don't think we've been properly introduced my name is Kali, Kali Green." Kali said as he put his hand out for his idol.

"Logan." Logan growled out shaking his hand.

"How about we have some drinks tonight? Right now I plan to go somewhere that may be able to fix a few situations of mine." Kali said looking at Logan.

"..."

Logan just looked down not knowing what to do as he doesn't really wanna force the nor stop him from doing his business.

"How about this you come with me and we could talk and get to know a little bit about each, maybe than I could give you a few details about how I know you." Kali said.

"Fine." Logan said as he walked past Kali exiting first.

Kali gave out a calm and nice smile before walking after him, and he may seem calm but inside he was screaming.

'A DAY WITH F*CKING HUGH JA- I mean WOLVERINE?! HAHAHA Maybe we could pick a few fights and mess about!!' Kali thought fangirling, or is it fanboy? Either way he would call it FanManning.

"Stoke?" Kali asked Logan as they were outside.

"Thanks." Logan said taking a cigarette.

"So... my plan today is to maybe go to a realtor office and grab a property before my restaurant blow up with kids." Kali said.

Logan was a bit confused at the sentence.

"There is only two rooms and 18 kids." Kali said.

"Wait..." Kali paused and started counting with his fingers.

"It is 18 right?... Ehh whatever."

"So Logan, tell me about your life so far, or at least what you remember." Kali said as they started walking into the city streets going to the Financial District.

Logan growled at first, but he started speaking afterwards, and it wasn't that much different in the comics he was pretty much alone for a bit until he was approached by Charles Xavier, and at first he told them to wanker off but a few incidents happened where Logan had to go and reside in the X mansion.

What Logan learned from Kali was about when he started bringing in the kids for work, which later on he let them live in his house, which in turn made them all closer which also made Kali adopt them.

"Oh let's stop here for some breakfast."

Kali said as he walked into a mid-class restaurant deciding to have his quick breakfast here with Logan, who just followed feeling lost in what to do.

"Come on Hugh Jackman, breakfast will be on me order anything or however much you want." Kali said.

"It's Logan, who is Hugh?" Logan growled out.

"Oh sorry I just have a habit of calling people random names." Kali said.

Kali ordered a few of the food on the menu while Logan ordered a few stacks of pancakes for himself not minding the bills at all.

Over at the restaurant/ Dragon House...

Jean was not sure how she really feels right now, she feels like she doesn't belong in there as it wasn't what she was used to.

The place was filled with kids around her age and there is barely any place to walk without bumping or have any privacy. The kids are almost always fighting and she doesn't know what to do.

Back at the X mansion everyone was friendly and some while also a bit afraid of her and her sometimes out of control powers.

Here It's almost the opposite, she shared a bed with another girl and it wasn't what she was used to, of course she is thankful and she also spent the night talking to her getting to know her and getting closer and all.

The thing she is glad about was that the others didn't care about her being a mutant, when they heard about it they were actually amazed and curious.

In exchange of showing them a trick or two, they also talked about themselves and the stories that goes on around the house, the thing Jean was excited about the most was the three Charles, Markus and Zhang.

And she was filled in with all their achievements and the hows and whys of their doings.

The next morning she woke up with no one in sight, she looked around but no one was on the upper floor. She didn't check the roof but she went downstairs and saw another redhead with a blonde baby.

"Oh your awake, if you are hungry the food is in the kitchen." Anna said.

She was one of the first to wake up and start the day with breakfast and chores before watching Hannah, everyone loved Hannah but when it comes to the important needs and such it was either Anna or Charles that would take care of her.

"Where is everyone?" Jean asked.

"Out doing their own things, some of them are usually always home but since Hannah is here I guess some of them wanna run from this responsibility." Anna said cooing with Hannah.

"Anyways, how was your night? Sleep alright?" Anna asked.

"Yeah, do they always fight?" Jean asked.

Last night there were some small arguments, but there was a fight that she thought seemed a bit too serious, she didn't know what it was about but they seemed to be really fighting seriously which was Charles and Markus.

"Haha yeah they do, but don't take it too much serious either, though the guys around here always argue and fight thats just one of the ways they can express themselves.

Charles is always teasing and making fun of everyone but mostly to Markus since he is an easy target.

Markus on the other hand starts the physical fight because he loves to fight, he would fight the others but he would rather fight Charles who is someone that could stand his full strength in fighting. And thought they bicker around they still trust each other out in the field when they patrol." Anna said.

"Hmm, so you guys are all... adopted?" Jean asked.

"Yeah, but the old guys probably didn't think of how it's gonna be before he took us all in and now we are all living under one roof with no room around."

"Haha, well you guys don't seem to be having a problem with it." Jean said.

"That's because we are either used to it or try not to get us crazy, Charles is always annoying, Markus piss everyone off, Chase can't stop talking for 5 seconds and Ronny does whatever he wants and thinks It's normal.

I mean the guy walked around n.a.k.e.d the other day and didn't think much of it, what an idiot!!" Anna said, with a sour expression.

"But if I were honest I like it." Anna said.

"...you like seeing him walked around n.a.k.e.d?!" Jean was a bit shocked.

"Wha!!- Nooo!! I meant the- Oh My God No!!" Anna paused to calm down.

"I meant this thing we have, how close we are, our relationship as a non-biological family. How silly, goofy and idiotic everyone is, but at the end of the day we always try to help each other." Anna said.

Jean had thoughts of how nice she explained it, to have friends and family around doing things together and such.

In the X mansion there were friendliness but a lot of them were scared of her out of control powers, and hearing Anna she thought of how it would be to experience this kind of slow but fun life.

For a while they were talking getting to know each other when the front double doors banged open and in came a fuming Kera.

"Kera? Whats wrong?" Anna asked seeing her walk back and forth with anger in visible in her eyes.

Kera looked and saw the two redheads and blonde baby and thought before saying whats on her mind.

"You!! Would NOT believe what happened today!!" Kera said.

"I finally found where my parents are and guess what I saw?! Come on guess!!" Kera said.

"Wait your parents?! You finally found them?!" Anna said in disbelief.

Anna knew about most of the kids stories and Kera's? She also she knew.

Kera was moving house to house not having a real family and knowing she was abandoned from her parents she was determined to find out who they are and interrogate them on why they would put her in the foster homes.

"Yeah!! And they were- guess what they were doing?!" Kera screamed out once more.

"Well I don't know!! What?!" Anna raised her voice to the same level of Kera to match her tone as if also being angry at whatever Kera was angered at.

"They were having dinner!!" Kera said.

"What?! They dare to hav-... wait dinner?

Ki (Kera) whats so wrong with them having dinner?" Anna said unsure.

"Well it was a nice dinner!! With a daughter of their own!!" Kera said with hurt expression.

"Oh." Anna was a bit surprised.

Anna gave Hannah to Jean who was a bit nervous holding the baby, Anna walked up to Kera and hugged her who gratefully accepted the hug.

"And guess what else Anne?!! Guess what else?!!" Kera was sad for a bit before she went back to her teenage anger.

"What?! What?! Tell me?!" Anna said.

"They were nice... but my "sister" was a HIGH CLA.S.S BITCH!!" Kera yelled out.

Jean couldn't hold it as she sniggered a little, not knowing why she found it funny in this serious moment. Maybe the place is rubbing off on her.

"She is? What did she do?!" Anna asked.

"A lot!! She did.......and thats not it she even has the gull to show me the present her parents got for her!!" Kera said with a frown and pout.

"Wh- what did they get her?" Anna asked, hearing the story she has a feeling that there is something missing in her stories.

"I don't know it was this colorful toy thingy, I don't know what It's called." Kera said.

"...Uhm... Ki (Kera) honey, uh how old is she?" Anna asked.

"*sniff* I- I don't know 8? 9?" Kera said.

"..."

"What?!" Kera asked seeing everyone including Hannah look at her.

"Oh uh n- nothing, I just hope she stops being a "HIGH CLA.S.S BITCH" soon." Anna said.

Over at Kali and Logan...

"Another stop? Whats here." Logan asked.

"Not sure, but they might be able to help." Kali said walking in to a building with a heading named "Realty World."

"Hel- !! Hello sirs how may I help you?" A front reception young man spoke out, but was surprised and a little intimidated by the twos looks.

"Um I don't know but I'm looking to buy a house?" Kali said looking around.

"O- oh then please wait as I call one of our realtors who is in." The young man said nervously as he picked up the phone calling.

"Um please head to the room in the back, it is the 2nd on the right." The young receptionist said.

"Thank you young man." Kali said as he and Logan walked to the back.

"Your looking for a house?" Logan asked.

"Yup, my current place is a bit full and It's supposed to be a restaurant, so I closed it for a bit so I could get some things right." Kali said as he stood in front of the door opening it.

"Hello, so you are looking for a residence?" The woman who was a realtor said.

"Yes ma'am I am." Kali said.

"Alright, my name is Paula." She said as they shook hands.

"Kali, and this is my brother Logan." Kali gestured to the shocked Logan.

Logan did a silent growled looking at Kali questioningly, Kali just shrugged at Logans glare. Now Logans a bit of a mess in his mind, because there is a side of him thinking that Kali was playing and the other side thinking that Kali was actually his brother.

How else would he know about his past and all, Logan thought but came back to reality from Kali's *clear throat*, he saw the realtor Paula having her hand out for Logan to shake but just ignored.

"Oh." Logan shook her hand.

"Now before we start I'm gonna need to see ID along with a few other doc.u.ments to show where you are in your credit as well as income and..." Paula said.

She was in her late 40's or early 50's and has red hair.

For the next half an hour Kali showed her a bunch of doc.u.ments and also answered questions she had for him to, Logan on the other hand was a bit irritated, he could have just stayed home or something but now he is here in this office doing nothing waiting for this guy to tell him about his past.

"Alright then Mr.Green we are all set, now can you tell me your budget?" Paula asked.

"Hmm, well this is my first time doing this but I want to get a good place to live on so how about... 5 million?" Kali asked not sure.

"..."

"..."

The other two was caught off guard, Logan didn't think Kali would have this much money even though he owned one of the best known restaurant in the city, and Paula was just shocked at this opportunity as she was able to get this man a house and get a good big buck out of it.

"Yes- I mean okay, but what kind of place are you looking for?" Paula asked.

"Well a house preferably two stories, and more than 5 rooms, with maybe a big back yard?" Kali asked.

Paula jumped up with a smile which Kali thought of as a good sign.

"Hehehe, well Mr.Green do you have time today maybe we can go check out a few places that has the same description of what your looking for."

"Of course, I have all the time in the world today." Kali said to which Logan huffed and twitched at.

"Hehe very well please follow me to my car." Paula gathered her things before we head out the building.

When they reached her car Kali and Logan were a bit unsure as it was a small compact like car and they don't really do cars, Logan would travel in the X-jet and rarely any cars, Kali never got into a car since his arrival here other than that time with Agent Hill.

But in the end they got in, Logan wanted to complain but Kali didn't give him a chance and dragged him in.

Over at the Dragon house...

Charles and a few others were back and with this chance Anna gave Hannah to Charles as she, Jean and Kera went out for some fresh air and since there is no transportation they would just walk around trying new things or discover something new they would love.

Anna did this to keep Kera's problem off her mind and also to make some time with Jean.

After a while it started to go dark, when they head back home they met up with Jun along with Mannix.

"Hey where were you guys?" Anna questioned.

"We just met at midtown, this bozo was working up some girl in a cafe store and I was just meeting an old acquaintance." Jun Lee said.

"Hey, she has a name okay?" Mannix said referring to the girl he was kissing.

"Oh yeah? Whats her name then?" Jun Lee asked.

"Oh I didn't think you would ask that." Mannix said looking away in defeat.

"I don't get it you guys are always playing these girls in Manhattan, but never a serious relationship. Don't you guys ever get tired of playing?" Jun Lee asked.

"Well no, no we don't, well I don't, I don't know about the other guys." Mannix said.

"Ugh, what were you guys doing anyways?" Jun Lee asked Anna.

"Nothing too important, we were just at the mall before we tried a few things out at Uncle Vito's." Anna said.

"Oh that pizza place? I gotta say they aren't top rated for nothing, first time I went there my mouth was drooling for more." Mannix said.

"Like how you were drooling for that girls lips? Hahaha." Jun Lee said laughing at Mannix.

"I was not, I'm not so desperate as to drool for a girls lips, It's easy enough to achieve with a smile." Mannix said doing his signature smile where he "picks up girls."

"Get a room you two!!" Kera said to the two who quickly denied it.

"Anyways I think they were good but they're not as good as the old mans." Kera said.

"Oh yeah."

"Definitely not."

"Of course not."

They all said knowing how good Kali's cooking is, Godly.

"Is it that good?" Jean asked to which all eyes landed on her.

"Oh right shes the newbie." Mannix said.

"Now that I think about it I don't think Jean or Hannah tried his cooking." Anna said.

"If someone said that Kali's cooking is #1 in this planet? I wouldn't argue, in fact I would agree." Jun Lee said.

"We all would, well whoever tried it at least." Anna chipped in.

"And It's been a while too, that lazy old bums been handing out all his responsibilities to us as he lazes around these days so he hasn't cooked for a while." Anna said.

"Ooh let's tell him to cook as a welcome party for the two new girls."

As they walked home getting closer, they were at the front of the Dragon house when a car pulled over.

"Thanks honey, you've been a great help." Kali said as he stepped out of the car waving at Paula.

"No no no darlin you were, and have a good night will finish the paper work tomorrow." Paula said before driving off.

Now Kali and Logan were standing outside of [Dragon's Tongue].

"So you wanna grab a beer?" Kali asked Logan.

"No! It's been a long day why don't you just tell me what I wanna know already." Logan finally had it and urged Kali.

"Sheesh James you gotta calm dow-"

"The name is Loga-" Logan interrupted pulling one metallic claw out on Kali who just keeps wasting his time.

"Logan?!" Jean called out.

"Kali?!" x4

"Oh hey guys, what are you doing outside?" Kali asked the group.

"We just came back from a day out, who was that?" Anna asked.

"Oh this is Logan he is-"

"No, the woman that dropped you guys off." Anna said, Jean seems to know Logan so she didn't ask as they will know soon enough.

"Oh Paula? She was just a stripper for me and Loga-!! Hey whoa whoa whoa put those claws down jackman!" Kali said as Logan unsheathed his claws and aimed it at Kali.

"Alright alright, she was just a woman helping me out on something." Kali said.

"Logan what are you doing here?" Jean asked.

Jean and Logan stepped aside to have a talk while the others questioned Kali.

"Stop okay you don't need to know about it It's nothing important, oh and a question Anne, how is the house you had your eyes on?" Kali asked.

"*sigh* to be honest It's been out of my hands for a while." Anna said a bit disappointed.

"Hmm I see, well just go in and get ready for bed or whatever, and can you make sure everyone is here for tomorrow?" Kali said.

"Sure what for?"

"Just make sure." Kali said.

"Alright, oh and we were thinking of having a welcoming party for Hannah and Jean-"

"Sounds like a good idea." Kali said.

"And you are to be cooking." Kera said crossing her arms.

"Well that hasn't happened for a while so of course, I'll be happy to I don't know why I ever stopped."

"Because you're lazy." Jun Lee said.

"Whatever brat, get on outta here." Kali shooed them away.

Kali saw Jean and Logan finish talking, so he spoke out.

"So Jean how are you holding up? Everyone nice to you?" Kali asked.

"Yeah, It's alright, though it is a bit..."

"What? No room?" Kali asked.

"Haha, a bit." Jean said.

"Well don't worry just survive for a week and it will be fine." Kali said.

"Now go on, go and bond some more and make some new friends." Kali said.

Jean chuckled rolling her eyes before walking in, now It's just Kali and Logan.

"So ready for your story?" Kali asked.

"Been ready since morning bub." Logan said.

"Haha let's go." Kali said as he flew up taking Logan with him.

While they were up in the air Kali took him phone out calling Paula.

"Paula honey,... anyways I'm calling to tell you about that other vacant spot... yes I'm also taking it... of course just put it on hold for my kid I'm sure she'll love it, alright thank you Paula." Kali said before hanging up as they were in front of the abandoned warehouse.
