Me? Oh I’m Kali, Kali Green

*Pah*

*Thud*

A young man fell on the ground in an alley way along with a few other young men.

Standing in between the unconscious bodies was Jack, all ragged and blood around his clothings, the thing was that they weren't his blood but the ones he knocked out.

On his right cheek on the other hand is purple do to one good hit he received from this small group of delinquents.

*TK Fwoosh*

He took out a cigarette and lit it up before smoking it and looked around him.

These few young kids was people he knew, at one point in his past he hung with this crew along with many others, but he moved from crew to crew as he wouldn't like them.

But when he changed crew he would get jumped from the previous group he hunged out with.

Jack moved from crew to crew and they would always be cool at first to him, but as time passes he saw how idiotic and troublemaking they were and it didn't go well with him.

He wasn't sure what he was looking for in life or what he was doing hanging out with groups of idiots but it didn't stop him.

Now he was having a pretty chilling life, he hangs back and watch as chaos ensues the place he lives in, a few of them he knew which was Dillon, Ronny, and Chase.

All four of them were on the path of becoming criminals if they weren't picked out of the streets by the trio and given a job from Kali.

And he was enjoying the life and for most of his life he wasn't a talkative person like Chase, never told the others about his life story.

Ever since he started working and living with that old man, things have been really weird.

At first he knew that Kali was a monster who can handle almost anything thrown at, then the trio "revealed" their night activities as the Night-Watchers, Kali was their mentor, "magic" is real, Kali was something of a god and along came many other strange things.

Ever since these things started popping up he enjoyed it more and more, the supporting "family and the crazy possible life.

There weren't much to do these days so Jack came out to hunt down the ones the jumped him before and beat them down, he wouldn't be able to do it before since it was crazy, but from the crazy workouts and the strange beans the old man made, he was beating these punks down easily.

'I think he called it Senzu beans?' Jack thought.

It was a miracle bean, Kali made a small garden of green beans in the [Nest] and the trio used it whenever needed, but the others were also welcomed to grab them.

The beans were better than the other fruits and vegetables in the back of the house and is more effective, the beans mostly get rid of your fatigue and minor bruises and wounds heal more quickly.

*Wiiing*

A metallic ringing sounded out behind him as he looked back quickly preparing for any surprises, and at first he was worried but relaxed after realizing some stuff.

"Jack?! What the hell are you doing out here at night?" Nightwing asked as he came out of the shadows followed by Red Hood.

"*Sigh* it's just you guys." Jack said in relief.

"Well? What are you doing out here?" Red Hood said as he walked up to Jack looking at the unconscious bodies around before stopping in front of jack and confiscated the cigg in Jack's mouth taking it for himself.

"Nothing much, just paying back a few favors for these old friends of mine." Jack said as he scratched the back of his head while looking away from the two.

"So they're old acquaintances of yours?" Red Robin asked.

Jack followed the voice and looked up to see Red Robin perched on the rooftop's edge looking at his forearm screen messing with it.

"Yeah... they were one of the first few crews I ran with, but paying them back is also a plus for the communities and the likes since the things they do ain't exactly civilized." Jack said looking at the knocked out group.

"Haha, I like your thinking." Red Hood said.

"Don't encourage him you idiot." Nightwing said as he walked past Red Hood and stood in front of Jack.

"Look Jack, you are probably having some problems at the moment and I want you to know you're not alone in this, we are all willing to help you." Nightwing said to Jack.

"The school has been calling about your attendance, they say you are barely attending, you go to school but not your classes and you're lucky I'm the one answering the phone rather than Kali." Nightwing said, Jack just looked to the side with barely any care in them.

Jack respected Charles because he was a nice guy and isn't selfish at all, there were more than a few times he helped him in hard times, but nice side of Charles is a little annoying to Jack because he didn't know if he was actually being nice or teasing him.

At times it would be incredibly awkward when he is with him and at first he thought it was unintentional but it was planned by Charles the whole time, Charles knew how to control the mood and making the moment uncomfortable and awkward was one of his pranks at times, when he couldn't handle it sometimes he would just laugh it out.

"Well I don't blame him, school is practically useless since it doesn't teach you about the bullshitt's in life." Red Hood said.

"NOT HELPING!" Nightwing looked at Red Hood and growled out.

They were the oldest of the few yet Markus always had a careless side of him, and it was a bad influence for the others.

"Just stating the facts wing man." Red Hood said and shrugged his shoulder before walking away and wall jumped to the rooftop.

Nightwing held his head and shook it before turning back to Jack.

"Look, my point is you can't just do things like this without thinking about the consequences, you may have succeeded in beating down this crew but going forward on this path is too reckless." Nightwing said.

"Maybe it is, or it isn't, but you don't see me stopping you guys from going out everyday fighting criminals with guns and such do you?" Jack said with a lazy expression.

"That's different, you see we have training and have gadgets to help us in these patrols, we spent a year with the old man training on how to do this and that in the safest ways." Nightwing said.

"But that still didn't guarantee your safeties did it?" Jack asked referring to the time they came back bloody that night in the restaurant.

"No... no it didn't." Nightwing said.

"..."

For a moment they stood there staring at each other until Jack spoke.

"Teach me."

"Huh?" Nightwing raised an eyebrow.

"Teach me how to fight, and be a vigilante like you." Jack said.

"You know me and the others always talked about it, that's why we started this whole training trying to keep up with you guys." Jack said.

"I ca- I don-... look I don't know anything about teaching, Kali might teach yo-"

"Teaching is not that hard, just think of it like showing and correcting me when you tech me something." Jack said.

"I- *Sigh*, alright look, we'll talk about that later, for now go back ho- actually come with me I'll take you to the [Nest] where the others are." Nightwing said.

"Grab onto my hand." Nightwing said as he hold his hand out for Jack to hold.

When they gripped each others forearms, Nightwing floated into the skies before looking over at Red Hood and Red Robin on the rooftop.

"I'm gonna take Jack to the [Nest], Robin, can you call the police department and inform them of the idiots down in that alley?" Nightwing asked to which Red Robin nodded to.

"Do whatever you guys want, the nights young and I got a list of things to do." Red Hood said as he walked off to the edge.

"Red, be careful on who you point your weapons at, not everyone are evil in the criminal world, even they have families to feed." Nightwing said looking at Red Hood.

"Mhmm." Red Hood just looked at Nightwing and put some thin headphones over his ears and played music.

This whole move screamed out "I don't care!"

"I'm feeling a bit of Wu-Tang tonight." Red Hood said before putting on [Protect Ya Neck].

He turned around and put up the peace sight before he used [KI Jump] and blasted off the roof landing on another before repeatedly doing so until he disappeared into the night.

"What about you?" Nightwing asked looking at Red Robin.

"I also have some things to do, I'm gonna head to a few cell towers and hack into it to see what I can get, I still need to work on [Assistant] and [Entity]." Red Robin said.

"Th- that's illegal, but okay." Nightwing said.

"There is something in my mind I want to make, and I need your engineering skills to make a device case later, but for now I need to get the materials." Red Robin said as he walked to the edge and [KI Jumped] before gliding away.

"He's becoming weirder everyday." Jack said.

"*Sigh* if I can't knock some sense into them sooner or later I'm gonna need to speak to Kali, with how they are now it will only get worse as time goes, I missed the old them." Nightwing said as he flew off with Jack in tow.

...

It was night closing in to midnight...

The door of the girls house opened and walked in Anna, and behind her was a young man.

Anna and this boy that seemed to be around her age walked to the kitchen and sat on the counter and continued the conversation they were having.

"...she was actually a bitch, did you know that the whole time we were together she talked behind my back? And here I thought she was a real friend." Anna said.

"No way, I thought you guys would still be tight even now! You guys were inseparable in junior high, and had each others back like no other." The young man said.

"I thought so too, but she started hanging out with these "cool" skanks behind my back and became more distant." Anna said.

The young man was someone Anna went to school with a few years back, this young man was more special than a classmate, it was her first boyfriend, her first love.

Back then she had a best friend and a boyfriend named brad, who is now in the kitchen with her at this moment.

Back then Anna and her best friend were going through their ups and downs with their young teenage lives until her best friend found new and "better" friends, at that time Brad was already gone and moved elsewhere breaking the relationship he and Anna had.

Now he was back and had been here for a while now, and they had ran into each other this night in coincidence, Anna couldn't help inviting him to the house to catch up.

"But enough about me what about you? You went overseas because of family business right? How did it go?" Anna asked.

"Well it's been fine, of course there was ups and downs in starting my fathers company in Europe but it is coming up slowly, we just need some patience." Brad said.

"Hmm, what kind of business is it?" Anna asked.

"It's a, it's international trading, Italy is a good spot to start a business in, my father only made some investments in joint stock companies and didn't have much faith in it at first, but it was a good investments as his stocks rose and so he immediately moved there brining us along, since them he has been busy but you don't wanna hear about that." Brad said.

"When I first went there and enrolled into school it was different but there was also some similarities to NYC's schools, I even made some friends and they are great, you have to meet them Anne." Brad said excitedly.

They sat there speaking back and forth catching up in their lives, Brad spoke of his time growing up in Europe and Anna spoke of the happenings in her life and how she got to where she is now.

If she still lived in that cramped restaurant with everyone else there she wouldn't bring anyone there, but now that all the girls had their own rooms and she owned the house she didn't fell any worries bringing an old friend here to catch up.

If the boys lived with them here then it would definitely be a nightmare as they smell the opportunity of making trouble and would try to intimidate Brad here.

Yet she didn't know that Kali was here...

Kali woke up looking around before remembering he was in Kera's room, he looked back to see Kera using his back as a pillow and was drooling all over his back.

The tattoo was complete, mostly as the circular chain like dragon was on but not his last name.

The tattoo was Meliodas' symbol of Wrath dragon from Seven Deadly Sins.

He wanted to get a clear look so he moved his index finger around slowly as Kera was raised up floating slowly to her bed before Kali used telekinesis to tuck her in.

He found a mirror and looked at his back satisfied.

He remembered what he came here for but paused and looked at the time, he decided he will come back later and talk to Sydney since it was pretty late right now.

He put on his shirt and started to walk to the steps but his whole body froze, and with his keen sense he felt an unfamiliar energy.

He recognized Anna's, he recognized Jun Lee's, who was blasting music in her room, and Tina's, who was sniffling in her room watching some drama, or the other's either sleeping or doing their own thing.

But the energy right next to Anna was not familiar, more to that it was a boy, and Anna seemed to be fond of this "boy" Kali thought.

He started taking slowed and quiet steps and walked down to the living room before leaning on the wall to hear the conversation.

'Why is this punk even here, it's late.' Kali thought.

"Have you met your old friends from back in the day? You know the ones you were with in junior high?" Anna asked.

"Nah, looking back I remember how they were and they aren't exactly smart or peaceful minds." Brad said.

As the two went back and forth conversing, Kali concluded that this little boy "Brad" was a nice guy, at least in the surface, for all he knew the boy could be a devil in human skin, Kali thought.

He spent a few minutes wondering if he should show himself and make an impression, and to either play good cop or bad cop, or maybe good cop with a bad cop under.

He then cleared his throat silently and walked out into the kitchen after tidying his shirt.

When the two saw him Anna freaked out and her eyes widened knowing this idiot was gonna do something she wouldn't want.

Brad was actually startled and got out of his seat before standing looking at Kali.

He was told the there was only gurls in this house and young ones only which are Anna's "sisters."

Anna didn't tell Brad about the boys and Kali because she thought they were unnecessary and that it would just lead to trouble.

Brad wanted to make it seem like he wasn't a bad person to this old man but it was hard as this old guy was kind of a giant and and muscular as well, from his elbows down Brad could see scars and this figure was real intimidating, but Brad kept it calm and looked at Kali.

"O- OLD GUY!! What are you doing here?!" Anna almost screamed out.

"What? I can't visit the house of my kids?" Kali asked.

"Kids?" Brad whispered.

"Y- no! But what are you doing here now?! It's late!!" Anna said.

"I could ask the same thing for our guest here. Ah where are my manners." Kali said and slowly walked to the young man.

Anna saw this and foreseen something bad and rushed in front of Kali and put her hands on him in order to stop him from walking further to Brad, but she didn't achieve anything and was instead sliding back as Kali didn't seem to be stopping.

"Don't. Do. Anything. Stupid!" Anna said glaring at Kali as she was still being slid back.

"No worries little red, I'm just introducing myself." Kali said as he grabbed her face and lifted her to the side before looking at Brad.

Surprisingly Brad didn't seem intimidated and was looking at Kali calmly.

Anna was on the side panicking in what to do, she doesn't think Kali would do anything like hurt Brad but she can't help worrying.

"Kali." Kali said as he held his hand forward for a handshake.

"Brad." Brad greeted shaking Kali's hand, Kali thought about squeezing the hell out of Brad's hand but decided against it.

"So how do you know my little demon here." Kali said tilting his head at Anna.

"D- demon?" Anna grunted.

"Ahahh, oh uh, we are friends, we knew each other in our junior high years." Brad said.

"Oh? And tell me was she at that time as grumpy as she is now? Hahahah." Kali laughed.

Anna who stood behind him pinched his side but that didn't seem to get any reaction from Kali.

"I'm kidding I'm kidding, so Brad what can you tell me about yourself?" Kali asked.

"Oh, uhh well, I-"

"You don't have to answer that, he was just leaving." Anna said glaring at Kali who just smiled back.

"Oh no it's fine, it's no big deal, I am now studying about business with my father, he runs a company in Europe and is hoping I take over someday, and in my spare time I spent it with friends having fun. And I play the guitar a lot, I've always loved playing it and always use some of my time to improve on it." Brad said looking at Kali.

Kali just sat there with a smile and didn't think the boy would actually tell him about his life, but after asking that he didn't know what else to do other than ask questions.

"Admirable, it seems you have your life in control." Kali said.

"So what are you doing here in the middle of the night?" He asked.

"Oh uh, well I was finishing a meet with an old friend when I coincidentally met up with Anna, we spoke for a bit but it got dark so she invited me here so we could catch up." Brad said.

"Hmm, and you don't have any other intentions in coming here?" Kali asked.

"Oh no of course not sir, I wouldn't da-"

"Oh my goood, just stop!! Kali can I talk to you in private for a second?!" Anna said as she stormed out of the kitchen into the living room.

"Looks like little demon needs a word." Kali said as he also walked after Anna.

Brad sat there with a small laugh at this scene.

"What are you doing?" Anna asked.

"Just having a friendly conversation with Brad." Kali said.

"Well you don't need to do any of that, just go home, what are you doing here anyways?" Anna asked.

"Oh right, I came for Syd but got distracted." Kali said.

"Well it's late, come back tomorrow." Anna said.

"Sure, since it's late I'll also walk with Brad out." Kali said as he tried to walk back to the kitchen.

"No you're not!" Anna caught his shirt and pulled back as hard as she can.

...

Anna came back to the kitchen and sat back down with Brad.

Brad asked what happened to Kali but she just replied saying that he didn't feel good and went home.

Kali went home in the end, he trusted Anna as she was m.a.t.u.r.e and the boy seemed like a good guy, but he also told Anna to give a message to Sydney about meeting him at his place.

...

When Kali went home there was only a few there, Hannah, Roberto, Keon, and Magnus.

Roberto was in the kitchen cooking up and trying new things, Keon was with Hannah watching cartoons and Magnus was on the kitchen table helping Roberto taste testing his new creations.

Not long the rest such as came back other than Charles and Markus.

...

*Knock* x3

Around 5 O'clock, a few minutes before the sun rises a knock was heard on Jean's window.

She opened it to see Charles floating at her window, he was wearing his suit without the domino mask.

He perched on her window looking at her and spoke.

"Morning birdie, wanna go for another flight?" Charles asked.

Jean nodded with a smile, she fixed herself up a bit before she floated up and they both flew up into the night sky.

Times like this was simple and happy, no drama, no conflict and all peace.

Over the clouds in the skies the two would fly around, holding each other and doing silly competitions.

Ever since Charles was able to fly Kali suggested he take Jean on a little flight like this, Kali thought it would give some calmness to Jean and also grant then the sight of beauty.

Kali remembered his time up in the skies with Natasha and thought the two should experience it, since then the two fell in love with this activity.

"It's so quiet up here." Jean whispered as they held each other floating around.

"Yeah, it almost seems like a different world from what we have seen." Charles said.

"It's is. It is a different world." Jean said.

And just then some parts of the skies and clouds took a shad of red, yellow and orange.

The sun rose and with it lit up the mountains and lands of clouds around them, the two watched as the sun rose.

The two looked at each other and came close before kissing each other and stared into one another's eyes as they fell for each other more deeper.

"Here, smile."

Charles took out a small camera and held it out.

After he took the picture the looked at it, but the sun was so bright it blinded the lens and only showed the shadow of the two.

Jean sighted sadly.

"I guess not all beautiful things are meant to be captured." Jean said.

"No, but we have it on our minds, this moment is only remembered by us." Charles said.

In the short times that Jean spent with everyone she only knew the positives in life, she learned how to take it easy and not worry.

Back at the X-Mansion there were always conflicts and drama over there, here it was all smiles and sillyness, even Logan roamed here more than anywhere nowadays.

Sorry dear readers for being gone for a while, life is catching up to me, and I'm becoming more lazy.

Anyways I just want to say that i am back, and to thank those that still donate ya PS.

Special thanks to DykvanDyk, always giving me your Power Stones and I feel bad for not writing to entertain yall.

Other than that I have been thinking of putting my other novel on hold to finish this one, and I'm also thinking of a rewrite because my story telling is not exactly on point, and I've been online learning how to write a good story.
